Once again I found myself waking up next to Aeryn, my wife.

I should get used to it now.

Her face was once again buried in my chest and this time it was she who had her leg wrapped around my hips. And one arm wrapped around my torso.

She seemed to be in a deep sleep.

I gently shook her shoulder. "Aeryn?"

I shook it again. "Aeryn, get up. We need to leave."

She groaned and snuggled closer to me.

I slowly unwrapped her leg from around my waist and proceeded to unwrap her hand from around my torso.

As I lifted her hand, she groaned deeply and firmly wrapped her hand around my neck and buried her face in my neck too.

I again shook her body. "Aeryn!"

She wiggled her face and her lips pressed against the base of my neck.

My breath hitched.

I angled my head to look at her, she was still sleeping, her eyes were closed but she seemed to be dreaming.

When her lips pressed against my neck, it wasn't by mistake, she was unconsciously kissing me.

Her lips trailed up my neck pressing soft kisses. Her mouth slightly parted and she bit my skin gently. I decided not to think about anything else and enjoy this moment knowing she will regret this as soon as she wakes up.

It's okay, she is just kissing my neck.

My hand went around her waist and tightened, my eyes closed as I felt myself getting turned on.

Her lips moved across my jaw but then I was caught off-guard when they landed on my lips.

I pulled my head back and shouted. "Aeryn!"

With a start she woke up and looking down at how she was clinging onto me, she moved back.

I was breathing heavily as I stared at her, her eyes widened. "D-did I do something?"

"What were you dreaming about?", I asked suspiciously.

She opened her mouth to speak but then she realised something and she closed her mouth and chewed on her lips. A blush slowly crept up her neck, reddening her cheeks and the tip of her ears burnt.

"Aeryn, I asked you something."

"N-nothing...", she stuttered.

"What nothing?"

"I-I... don't remember what I was...d-dreaming...", she spoke nervously.

My body hovered hers, I stared into her eyes. "You are lying."

She shook her head. "No."

My eyes narrowed at her. "Were you dreaming about kissing me?"

She gulped, her eyes roaming the room refusing to look at me. "No..."

I pointed to my neck where she gave me a small hickey. "Then what do you mean by this?"

Her eyes widened and she instantly covered her face with her hands in embarrassment. "Please tell me I didn't do it."

"Who else will do it then?"

Her hands still covered her face. "I am so sorry. I don't know how it happened."

At that moment, seeing her so flustered made me laugh.

She removed her hands from her face. "Are you laughing at me?"

"Yes."

She smacked my arm. "You are so bad, Everette. You are making fun of me!"

"I can't help it. I still can't believe you gave me a hickey while sleeping", I argued.

"You were awake; you could have stopped me. I guess you enjoyed it, huh?"

I leaned in and brushed my lips against her ear. "That I did", I whispered huskily.

She gasped. "You are so shameless! Get off me now!"

Chuckling, I rolled off her and she dashed to the bathroom.

This woman is driving me crazy.

After getting dressed, I knocked on Carmel's door.

She opened it and said coldly, "Yes?"

I crouched down to her. "I am sorry."

She folded her hands. "Did mama forgive you?"

I nodded quickly. "She did."

She raised a brow at me. "I don't believe you."

To my luck, Aeryn walked out of the room and seeing us she stopped.

"Mama", Carmel said. "Did you forgive him?"

Aeryn glanced at me and then at Carmel and rolled her eyes. "Yes, I did."

"See, I told you", I said to her. "Do you forgive me too?"

She nodded happily and jumped at me engulfing me in a hug. I hugged her back feeling satisfied.

Pulling back she kissed my cheek and in return of that, I kissed her forehead.

Then her gaze fell on my neck. "What happened to your neck?"

I realised she was pointing to the hickey Aeryn gave me and I smirked. "Ask your mother."

Aeryn's eyes widened as Carmel turned to her. "What happened to his neck, mama?"

Aeryn grabbed her hand and dragged her down the corridor ignoring her question.

"But, mama..."

"We are getting late, Carmel", she cut her off.

I followed behind them and went down to the dining hall for the breakfast where everyone was gathering, our family I mean.

Seeing Aeryn, Gareth and Zack came to her and they were talking about something when they all looked at me.

Gareth's gaze lowered from my face and his lips curled up in a smirk.

Putting on a poker face, I took a seat at the table and everyone joined. Aeryn as usual sat beside me.

The breakfast was served soon and everyone silently ate untill uncle said to me, "You and Aeryn left the wedding very early yesterday."

I lied. "Umm...Aeryn wasn't feeling well that's why."

He turned to her. "Are you okay now?"

She nodded. "Yes. Thank you."

We all resumed eating and I glanced at mom who was smiling at me. Actually smiling at both Aeryn and me. And so was Gareth and Zack.

What the hell?

Zack wiggled his eyebrows suggestively and my eyes narrowed at him which made him stop promptly.

And then I realised. Aargh! That hickey!

I felt like banging my head on the table.

It's not what you think happened last night, I wanted to shout but I pressed my lips in a thin line and ignoring everyone's stares, continued eating.

After the breakfast, our luggages were being loaded in the car while we said goodbye to everyone. Mother and father will be staying for a few more days before leaving.

Zack, I assumed was trying not to come near me, so he didn't even hug me goodbye when aunty, uncle did.

So, I decided to say goodbye to him in my way.

After I hugged uncle and aunt goodbye, I saw him side hugging Aeryn and Carmel with his back towards me.

I walked upto him and grabbed both his shoulders. His body froze when I whispered in his ear sarcastically. "Won't you say goodbye to me, brother?"

When he didn't respond, I whispered again. "Run."

And that he did, he ran as I chased him.

Being the coward he is, he again went and hid behind mother. "Aunty, save me!"

"Everette! Stop fighting!", mother scolded.

"I am just saying goodbye to him", I said sweetly.

"He is going to beat me, aunty because I danced with Aeryn yesterday", he complained.

"Everette, you are not going to hurt him", mom said.

"Can't promise."

Gareth walked to us laughing at the situation but when I hissed at him, even he hid behind mother.

"You can't hide forever, Gareth. You are coming with me only on the same flight. Who will save you there?"

He pointed behind me. "That's my saviour."

Aeryn was walking to us and she went and hugged mother and kissed her cheek.

Mother said something to her which I couldn't hear and then she again hugged Zack and fucking kissed his cheek.

I growled but she ignored me and walked past me with Gareth following her closely.

Zack looked so scared. "I didn't do anything this time, brother."

I scoffed. "Of course, you didn't."

I took a step forward and he flinched. Mother warned. "Everette."

"I am not going to hurt him, mother", I promised and everyone knows if I promise something, I would rather die than breaking it.

I wrapped my arms around his back hugging him. I patted his back. "I'll miss you, brother."

He hugged me back. "I'll miss you too, brother."

Smiling, I pulled back and saying one last goodbye to everyone, we all sat in the car.

"I'll miss everyone", Aeryn mumbled sitting beside me.

"Everyone or Zack?", I taunted.

She scowled and elbowed me in my chest making me groan.

I lifted my arms up in surrender. "Just kidding, wifey."

She gritted her teeth. "I hate you!"

"Feelings are mutual, wifey." Saying that, I kissed her cheek.

And Gareth shouted from the front seat. "No PDA!"

"As you say, brother, as you say."

"Mama", Carmel said. "You still didn't tell me what happened to dad's neck."

"Oh, Carmel..." Gareth chuckled. "Don't worry, I will tell you."

"Gareth!" Aeryn warned.

"What? I am just answering her question."

"No need", Aeryn said.

"What's wrong in telling her if an insect bit his neck yesterday?", Gareth said innocently.

And Aeryn face slammed herself.
