《You can't run from us [BoyxBoy]》Chapter 34: A possible way out

"Are you done with that?" Vincent asked me as he glanced at my half eaten plate of pancakes and I shrugged my shoulders indifferently. I watched as he brought my plate towards his own and moved the pancake over with a slight frown on my face. If I was right he had almost eaten eleven of those and I found myself wondering how he could still manage to look like that…
"Stop staring at him Ash!" Alex said in an annoyed voice and I shifted my gaze towards his irritated face.
"What? I wasn’t staring." I said in a simple tone and Alex gave me a “don’t lie to me”-look.
"Yeah you were. You’re ogling him like he’s some kind of secret masterpiece!" He growled lowly and my eyes narrowed at his tone. He sounded…dare I say it…jealous. I let out a heavy sigh as I rolled my eyes and said:
"Oh fuck you caught me, I was totally checking him out because he’s so damn good-looking and when he eats that pancake it’s such a turn-on I’m…" I was cut of midsentence by a deep rumbling and I turned my head to look at a now fuming Alex. His eyes were a dark shade of stormy blue and I laughed mentally. Maybe I had taken that a tad too far…
"I’m not into guys." Vincent stated with his mouth stuffed with pancakes and I turned my attention back at him.
"Ever heard about something called sarcasm? I’m not into guys either and even if I were it wouldn’t be you, sorry." I said in a teasing voice as I shook my head at him. Vincent gave me a glare from across the table and I returned it, rolling my eyes at the same time. I was telling the truth though because if I would be interested in guys it wouldn’t be someone like him...probably. I frowned at my own thoughts and wondered why I even bothered.
"Ash can we play hide- and seek?" Kate suddenly said and I gave her a tired look.
"No." I answered and I could see her frowning at me from the corner of my eye.
"Pretty please, with sugar on top?" She pleaded with a sweet voice and I huffed. I would not fall for her this time. I shook my head at her stubbornly but she wouldn’t take that and her eyes narrowed dangerously.
"You will do as I say or I will find a way to get back at you and it won’t be pretty at all." She stated and I paused to glare at her grim face. Okay, I did not want her trying to get back at me for something as simple as not playing with her so I sighed and shot her an irritated eye.
"Fine, but I’m not counting." I muttered and her face lit up like a freaking Christmas tree.

"You don’t have to because Vincent will, won’t you?" Kate said as she gave Vincent a sharp look. I could see how he was just about to protest when he saw the dangerous look Amber was directing at him, and immediately changed his mind.
"I’ll be happy to." he muttered under his breath and I could see Kate smiling even brighter.
Seemed to me I wasn’t the only one getting whipped by small girls today...
"You have to count to at least thirty before you start searching for us." Kate said in a happy voice before she jumped on her feet and ran up to me. Vincent nodded in defeat and I sighed once again as Kate took a hold of my left hand dragging me up in a standing position.
"Go!" She shouted before she let go of me and ran towards the kitchen entrance. Vincent started counting loudly and I stared at him until it dawned on me that if I didn’t hide soon I would be the next to count. Shit, I cursed as I ran after Kate, scolding myself for not reacting faster. Vincent had already reached fifteen when I reached the entrance and I could hear Amber laughing behind me.
"You’re so screwed Ash!" She shouted after me and I gave her a finger over my shoulder as I turned the corner as fast as lightening. She was sorely mistaken if she thought I would be the one losing.
When I entered the hallway I immediately saw Kate disappear into a room further down the corridor and I decided that my hiding place would have to be upstairs. At least then I wouldn’t be anywhere close to her, plus I already knew some of the rooms upstairs.
I flew up the stairs taking three steps at a time and when I reached the top I bolted around the corner and kept going up the next set of stairs too. When I reached the third floor I ran towards the bedroom I had been in this morning and pushed the door opened as silently as I could. I shut it behind me and turned towards the bed.
Hm... I wondered if it would be a smart move to hide under the bed or if that would just be too obvious. Probably too obvious, I decided.
My eyes landed on the walk-in-closet next and I couldn’t help but grin to myself as I stalked up to the door and pulled it opened. I stepped inside and closed the closet door tightly after me.
Due to the fact that I couldn’t flip the switch inside the closet I was consumed by darkness immediately. I couldn’t see anything at first but then my eyes slowly began to adjust to the dark and I could make out the outlines of the clothes and boxes inside. I sighed to myself as I stepped further into the closet and flopped down on the floor between two big drawers.

Why was I even doing this again? Why was I playing hide- and seek in my kidnappers house? Had I finally gone crazy? I mean shouldn’t I be searching for a way out of this house? Shouldn’t I be trying to find a phone so that I could...call...wait a minute...
The second it dawned on me, I shot to my feet and stepped towards the bag still lying on the floor of the closet. I almost did a small happy-dance as I pulled my phone out of my jacket-pocket and saw that it was still working. Thank goodness for old phones, they always seem to have just enough battery!
I made sure that the closet door were completely shut before I sat down on the floor at the back of the small room and started typing on my phone. I decided to call Matt since he always seemed to know what to do in situations like this and I dialed the number as quick as I could. Four tones could be heard before someone picked up on the other end.
"Yeah, it´s Matt." A very familiar voice said and I sighed in relief.
"Matt! You don’t even know how fucking glad I am to hear your stupid voice man." I said in a hushed tone. Thank god, maybe it would all be alright now.
"Ash? Is that you buddy? Where the hell have you been? We’ve been so worried about you! You can’t just disappear like that you asshole!" Matt screamed at me through the phone.
I didn’t even need to ask him who “we” were, because I knew that he meant Regina and himself. Of course my “dad” would never miss us, I already knew that.
"I know, I know...just listen okay?! I was kidnapped! I even had to take Kate with me and now we’re both held against our will in this big fucking mansion somewhere in the middle of the woods!" I hissed back and I knew that it sounded crazy even as the words left my mouth. Hell even I hadn’t believed me...
"Have you been drinking Ash? You do know that it’s bad for your health and all, right?" Matt answered in an amused voice and I cursed mentally.
"No, I swear Matt, you have to believe me! These three lunatics are keeping me here and you have to save us!" I wanted to scream at him but I managed to keep my tone at a minimum.
"Yeah sure...and where are you guys being held then, huh?" He said, his voice still amused and I knew he didn’t believe me yet. What could I say to get him to believe me? 'They’re werewolves'? Ha-ha-ha, no that was a big no no...
"I don’t really know...but I do know their names." I said sheepishly. I could hear Matt laugh at the other end before he said:
"Okay, then tell me their names and I’ll call the men in black and tell them to pick you guys up, sounds good?"
I gritted my teeth and killed him in a thousand different ways in my head before I took a deep breath to try to calm myself down again.
"Stop joking, I’m serious Matt! Their names are Alex, Adam and Anton and they’re brothers and the mansion must be at least a few hours from where we live because the drive here took forever!" I tried to remember if there was any information that could get him to believe me but my mind was completely blank.
Suddenly there was a pause on the other end of the line and I thought I heard someone else speak in the background. Hm...did he have someone else there with him?
"You believe him” I heard Matt say to the other person and then there was a pause again.
"Fine Ash, Regina is here too and she says she knows where you are. I guess I have to believe you then but you have to know that it sounds crazy as shit." Matt said into the phone and I silently thanked god for making Regina before I answered him:
"Yeah I told you so! Now can you stop making fun of me and get your ass here and pick us up?!"
I had a hard time concealing my irritation because I felt like someone would walk in on me any second now. How long had the game been going on anyway? Surely more than fifteen minutes?
"Fine we can probably take my mother’s car and be there in a few hours. I just have to ask though...you don’t expect us to, I don’t know, fight them or something huh? Because I’m not so sure I’m up to that..." Matt said in a serious tone and I sighed loudly.
"Of course not idiot! I just need you to park at the end of their lawn and then I will find a way to get me and Kate out of the house in time for your arrival. We will drive away without problems if you just stick to the plan and wait for us in your car." I said in a low tone.
"Yeah okay, that doesn’t sound too bad... Regina says we can be there in approximately five hours if we drive like lunatics...which I guess we are going to have to if my mom isn’t going to find out I took the car." He answered and I could feel a slight relief building.
"Great, we’ll see you then! And don’t you dare be late Matt!" I threatened before I hung up and the line went dead.

Harry Potter: Dimensional Wizard
Edward was reincarnated into the world of Harry Potter, an act which excites him giving the fact that this was one of his favorite books. So, he embarks on the path of wizardry in the hope of discovering the way it works, the laws or theories that govern it; he wanted to find its essence. He tries to find the answer to questions like What is the soul. Why can wizards use magic, while muggles cannot? Do bloodlines truly exist? And if so, what use is it to wizards? And if they are indeed real, how I can I get there?" This story is an Infinite Stream novel where the mc travels through different anime and movie worlds acquiring various magical abilities and knowledge to become a supreme wizard that stands on the top of countless dimensions and universes. Warnings: The MC will spend a great deal of time in the Harry Potter World before going to other worlds.I have not decided whether the [Curse Child] is canon or not. I do not care what JK Rowling said. This is a pseudo-science explanation of magic, so take it with a grain of salt. I am an amateur writer with not-so-good grammar, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. This is a wish-fulfillment and Gary Stu-type novel so read at your convenience. If this is not your kind of thing, then move along and do not complain about it later. Although this fanfic will be a Harem, the mc will not have a thousand women. Most likely, I will write so that he has a certain relationship with some female characters, then he will leave her in her own universe. Only a few will follow him in his journey. Also, a few men will be in his group. THIS IS NOT A YAOI. Disclaimer: All the characters--except the one created by me--belong to JK Rowling.
