《You can't run from us [BoyxBoy]》Chapter 2: First impression

When I turned the last corner the store came into view and I let out a relieved sigh when I saw that it was still open. You never know with these local stores...
"Thank god" I thought to myself as I made my way towards the entrance.
Just before I was about to take a step inside a green Lamborghini Gallardo and a black Jeep Patriot pulled up not far from the entrance and I couldn't help but admire the beautiful masterpieces. Cars had always been a fascination of mine ever since I was a child watching races on television.
I'm not supposed to stare but I couldn't help it and before I could deflect my gaze the doors on both cars opened and four guys got out, two from the Lamborghini and two from the Jeep. It practically screamed money from all four and I could see that none of them should have a difficult time buying a few more of those expensive looking cars.
I noticed that the two guys from the Lamborghini and the passenger of the Jeep looked like Greek gods taken straight from Olympia and I couldn't take my eyes of them. Not that the fourth guy wasn't handsome, it was just that he didn't play in the same league. Like at all. At least not in my opinion he didn't. Not that I made it a habit of going around admiring guys or anything, it was just hard not to look at them.
I mentally slapped myself when the driver of the Jeep caught me staring and he narrowed his gaze on me. They were too far away for me to see their faces properly so I guessed it was the same for him. The thought calmed me a little because I didn't want to get the usual 'once over' I always got.
Yes, I didn't look that bad myself. I was around 6 feet and I was actually quite muscular. I liked working out when I didn't have to work for that ass of a 'father' and the only reason I wasn't more fit was because he didn't give us that much food. I also had 'quite a face' as many girls have put it and that's probably because I have brown wavy hair and, don't laugh, violet eyes.
Truth be told I didn't mind my eye color because they looked badass together with my untamable brown hair, but what I did mind was all the attention they brought me. I didn't like people giving me attention because I liked blending in and not be seen unless I wanted to. You know... being mysterious and all that.
I was awaken from my line of thoughts when I saw how the driver of the Jeep made a gesture towards me and said something to his friends, that all turned to look in my direction. My skin began to tingle strangely and I decided that whatever he had said, it wasn't good, because the other three stared at me intensively and they had all frozen where they stood. I thought I could hear them all say 'mine' at precisely the same time but that was probably just my imagination since they were so far away.

"Well shit, probably not a good sign Ash" I thought to myself.
The driver of the Jeep seemed confused when his three friends didn't acknowledge him and he turned his head between me and the guys like he was trying to figure something out. Suddenly his face lit up and even I could see that he was smiling brightly.
"Okay that's it, get going Ash before something even more strange happens" I thought as I gave myself a mental slap and forced myself to turn my back on them so I could enter the store. I started walking but when I got closer to the entrance I cursed out loud.
"Hell to the no this can't be happening." I groaned as I saw the 'closed' sign on the door. It had been open just a minute ago! I walked up towards the door anyway and looked inside as I tried to see if someone was still there. They had to be. Otherwise they must be hiding behind the counter or something.
"" I swore as I hit the door with my left foot, wincing at the pain that stabbed me in the side as I did.
"Shit, I'm so dead..." I said to myself, running my fingers through my sprawling hair. I didn't notice how someone had sneaked up behind me without me noticing until someone cleared their throat loudly.
"Taking your anger out on the door I see." Someone said from behind me and I froze where I stood.
"Please don't be them..." I thought to myself and without turning around I murmured sarcastically:
"I think I'm actually hurting myself more than the door."
I could hear somebody laugh but I kept my face turned towards the store.
There was actually another reason why I didn't want anybody seeing my face right now. I hadn't covered the bruise from 'dads' punch earlier and it was probably covering half of my face at this time. I decided that I needed to get out of there before somebody noticed and started asking difficult questions.
"Well, nothing I can do about it now. I should get going so I can receive my death-sentence before it gets dark." I muttered, turning to the side in an attempt to slip away without receiving too much attention. That didn't really work though because when I took a step in that direction someone stepped out to block my path. I had to make an abrupt stop to avoid colliding with the person standing there. I tried turning in the other direction but someone else blocked my path again.
"Going somewhere?" Another voice than before said and I couldn't help but shiver at the tone. I didn't have time for this, I had to get home to watch out for Kate in case 'dad' decided to change his mind now when I couldn't buy his beer. I didn't have a choice anymore.

I took a deep breath and lifted my head so I could meet the gaze of the four guys that was standing before me but I made sure to keep my injured side turned away.
They looked even better up close and at first I couldn't find my voice. The driver of the Jeep was the only one who was shorter than me, perhaps 5, 8, but the other three guys towered over me. They must have been at least 6, 4. They were all well-built but the guy who had been driving the Lamborghini was slightly more muscular, and he looked a bit older too.
The driver of the Jeep had brown/black hair and brown eyes which made him look kind. The other three looked intimidating and they all had dark brown hair which caused me to think that they were related somehow. The only thing that told them apart was the color of their eyes. The guy who had been in the Jeep with the brown/black haired guy had moss green eyes, the passenger of the Lamborghini had piercing ice blue ones and the guy who had been driving the Lamborghini had light gray, almost white eyes. They were all staring at me and everybody apart from the driver of the Jeep seemed tense.
"Get a hold of yourself Ash, you need to get home remember?" I thought to myself before I let a sly grin replace my surprised expression. As on queue the guys' eyes turned a little bit darker except for the driver of the Jeep who was still smiling like an idiot.
"Scary..." I thought before I decided to turn to the Jeep guy.
"As much as I would want to stay and chat with you I have somewhere else to be, a life to get back to... so yeah... if you could be so kind as to let me pass that would be great." I made my voice sound mocking and I tried not to laugh at their suspicious looks. They obviously understood that I was 'talking back' as Kate used to call it. It often got me into trouble but the Jeep guy only shared a look with the other guys and shook his head before he answered with a smile of his own:
"Eeh no I think it's better if you just come with us."
I stared at them for a while. Was they for real? They wanted me to come with them? Yeah, like that would ever happen. I could see the headlines already: 'Teenage boy followed strangers - because they asked him to'... nope I don't think so.
"I don't think you heard me; I have somewhere to be so I come with you." I let a little anger creep its way into my voice as I put emphasis on 'no' and 'can't' and I could tell that they noticed because the other guys gave me a 'don't mess with us and do as we say'- look.
", screw you I'll just go!" I hissed and took a step to the side so I could slide between the Jeep-guy and the guy with green eyes but before I could even react the green eyed guy took a hold of my right arm, preventing me from moving any further. I felt tingles spreading from where he was holding me but I winced when his grip made my side hurt on a whole new level.
"Ouch! Let me go!" I hissed, almost doubling over from the pain in my side. His hand was the only thing holding me up.
"What the hell did you do Adam?" The guy with ice blue eyes growled and the guy holding me, obviously Adam, gave me a worried look and let me go immediately.
"I barely touched him." He said, defending himself as I fought to straighten up again.
"What's that on his face?" For the first time the guy with light grey eyes spoke but what he said made me freeze where I stood.
Crap he had seen it, time to go.
I pushed down the pain throbbing at my side and before anyone could react I shoot away like a bullet. I made a dash for the street I had come from earlier and I could hear the guys curse loudly behind me.
"Adam and Alex you'll get him, Kevin you'll take the Jeep and I'll take the Lambo!" I could hear the grey-eyed guy shouting orders to the others as I tried to run faster.
What the hell had I gotten myself into?
