"Anyone can make you smile but only certain people can make you happy."

Inside, I pick my gown to descend the stains but a hand makes its way in front of me and I quickly glance up to see my dear brother, Charles, looking handsome as always and giving me his signature smile, showing cute dimples on both sides of his face.

"Brother, I missed you so much," I take his hand and whine.

"I am utterly sorry, my Princess. There was just so much to do and I couldn't free myself from it. But I promise I'll stay longer this time and make it up to you", he say placing a hand on his heart.

"You better keep your promise this time or I won't forgive you brother", I say in a serious tone.

"You can never stay upset at me", he chuckles lightly.

"Oh yeah? We'll see about it this time", I reply placing a had on my hip.

"Hey what are you guys doing there?" John says.

"John you came too? Oh I'm going to kill you for ruining my dress that day," I say glaring at my little brother.

He's such a devil always looking for the right moments to ruin my stuff and annoy me as much as he can.

He laughs at the memory,"Your face was worth seeing when you were drenched in water." He wipes an imaginary tear from his face with his index finger and shakes his head.

"Stop teasing her, John. You know she hates it when you play tricks on her. You're old now. Act like a mature guy, will you?" Charles scolds. I grin widely at that. Charles is such a life saver. I'm so glad to have a dear big brother like him.

Charles offers me his hand and asks me to dance with him. I accept it smiling like a child and go to the center with him where some couples are already dancing. Seeing us coming, they step aside to make space for us and smile at us. I let my brother sway me ever so lightly. I enjoy dancing with him. I used to stand on Charles' and John's shoes and they would dance with me like that when we were little. It was one of my best thing to do untill they went to boarding school and started handling the business. As I was dancing, I catch the sight of Ramsey glaring at me. Wait, he isn't glaring at me but at the back of my brother's head. I wonder what is going on inside his peanut size brain. We finish dancing and bow to each other still smiling sheepishly.

After that my father and King Robert stand from their seats and prepare themselves to announce something. I was quite anticipating it because it was the first time I didn't knew what was happening. Whenever we have Balls, my mother makes sure to tell me every single thing about it. But it was surprising how she kept it a secret from me and didn't inform me about it herself.
