It felt like a dream, and maya decided if it was, she needed to make that kiss last for as long as she possibly could before she woke up.

She opened her mouth and started to kiss him back. She was surprised by the way her body reacted to the kiss how it moved without her control. Her hands got tangled up in his wet hair as she leaned in for more and his tightened on her waist. It was the most amazing and perfect first kiss a girl could ask for.

His mouth felt as if it was made to fit hers. There wasn't a nose or chin in the way, and their tongues danced in perfect rhythm. It made her want more.He pulled away softly. With her chin cupped in his hand, he made a satisfying grunt as if he had just finished his favorite meal.

Maya's eyes still remained closed as she panted. She could feel his eyes on her but couldnt muster up the courage to look at him. Then she suddenly felt his lips on her forehead. It was a soft and quick peck but it made her eyes burn with tears. That action somehow melted her into a puddle.

"Open your eyes baby" his deep voice rumbled near her ears.

She shivered as she felt his breath on her eyes and slowly opened her eyes. She found him looking at her with his eyes burning with desire. But a soft smile played on his lips. As if infectious maya started smiling too. She might have still kept smiling when his lips came down on her again. And again. After the rain cleared up adhi drived maya to her hostel. It was only when they reached the hostel gate maya got the courage to look at him.

"Is this how things are going to be around us? Less talking more touching??" Adhi wiggled his eyebrows in a playful way.

A chuckle broke out of maya and his smile widened. " You wish" maya started to unbuckle her seatbelt when adhis hand reached hers and he intertwined it with his.

"Im gonna miss you" adhi said with a pout on his face.

"Why? We are going to see each other tomorrow right?"

"Of course we are but thats like 15 hours without seeing you, touching you" his thumb brushed maya's lower lip and it made her shiver.

"It was different till yesterday. I still missed you. But now things aren't the same are they?" Adhi moved closer and cupped maya's face in his hands.

"I really like you maya" his voice was a deep whisper.

Adhi tilted his head and moved forward to kiss her but was interupted by continous knocking on the window. Snapping out from the trance maya looked out the window and saw a very pissed off preethy with hands on her hips.

"Ohh im soo dead" maya murmured and jumped out from the car a chuckling adhi followed her.

"Maya Menon! Where the hell were you? I thought you were dead. What happened to your phone?"

"It must have run of charge. I dont know i didnt check."

"You didnt check your phone??"her eyes widened.

"Do i wanna know what you two were doing that she even forgot to check her phone?" Preethy said fighting a smile.

"I think its better if she explain it to you in your room. I like the attention preethy but not this much" Adhi gestured to the crowd of girls looking at us from various room Windows and balconies.

"And i fully take responsibility for todays incident preethy maam. We were quite preoccupied" His arms encircled maya's waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. Maya sucked in a sharp breath and began to push him away. The girls who were watching let out exasperated sighs and dissapointed shrieks. Adhi and maya chuckled and she stopped fighting him and rested her head on his shoulders.

Preethy was literally giving out heart eyes at them and said "Guys you are adorable but now can i have my best friend back? She has quite some explaining to do."

"Sure. But I'll take her back tomorrow all right?" Adhi's voice rumbled though maya's body.

This warm fuzzy feeling started building up in maya's body. It was interesting and the same time scary.

"All right love bird lets go" Preethi pulled on maya's arms and Adhi released his grip on her.

As they slowly moved towards the gate, maya heard Adhi's deep sigh and smiled to herself. She looked back once more and waved to him and ran towards her room. Reaching the room preethy pushed maya on to her bed and straddled her. She picked up a pillow and threw towards a sleeping Taniya who jumped up at the impact.

"You sneaky bitch. You and Adhi? When? How? spill i need details!" preethy shrieked

"Whatt???" Taniya shouted from behind

And maya started talking telling them every single detail about today's evening and about adhi. Both the girls were shrieking and shouting out their excitement.

"And then... he.... kissed me" maya said burying her face in her hands. After a moment of silence she was almost deafend by the scream of the girls.

"I knew he had a thing for you" taniya shook maya in excitement.

"You should have seen them taniya. He couldnt stop touching her. He was like a love sick puppy" preethy sighed.

"That is one whipped man all right. But maya maya you." Preethi pointed her finger at maya

"I didnt know you were such a sneaky girl. How has this been going on?" Taniya asked.

"It just happened today. He was all about keeping me safe till yesterday but i dont know what came over him today." Maya said still in dream land.

"There is a thing called restraint you know. He couldnt control himself."

They laughed. Taniya started giving maya seduction advice which she politely refused. But then things got serious.

"Whant are you going to do about jeeth?" Taniya asked concern lingered on her face.

"I dont know. I think he lost interest in me. There was so many situation where he could have gotten me alone if he wanted to hurt me. Besides i have adhi now. He'll take care if anything comes up"

Taniya smiled but it didnt quite reach her eyes. "Still be careful okay. Adhi might not always be around."

"I will" maya hugged Taniya and preethy joined too. Soon they started rolling on the bed trying to free themself from each others grip but ended up getting tangled even more. They slept in the same bed that night.

Maya was woken from the ding of her phone. Her mother only texted her in the evening.

Who is this so early in the morning? Maya opened her phone and the brightest smile appeared on her face as adhi's name flashed on her screen

'Good morning baby 😘'

She looked at the text for a while then rolled on her bed only to find preethys head on her ass. Maya sighed at the awkward position and began to type back the reply.

'Good morningggg 😍'

Pressing send she didnt even have to wait a full minute as the ding appeared again.

'Did i wake you?'

'No i was already up.'

'Yeah i didnt sleep either. Couldnt actually. You kept me up all night.' Maya hid her face on the pillow and started typing again.

'Me too. But i did sleep a little though' Two laughing smiley faces was his reply.

'Wanna hangout today? Let's skip college and have our first official date'

Maya gasped and squeeked preethy jumped up from the bed and pushed of taniya who was hugging her legs.

"What happened?"

"Adhi asked to go out on a date. Our first date" Maya squeeled preethy joined.

"What are you thinking so hard for? say yes. " preethy said encouragingly.

"Im nervous" maya shrugged.

"What us there to be nervous about? you kissed the guy."

"Thats different" maya huffed.

"How is that.." Preethy stopped mid sentence as maya's phone buzzed again.

'???' Adhi sent

"Oh my god. Don't keep him waiting. Say yes. Ill give you a cute dress and a makeover trust me"

"Okay" maya sighed and typed out her reply.

They decided on the time and place to meet and maya couldnt wait to have her first ever date with Adhi.

When preethy and taniya were done helping maya to get ready for her date she couldnt recognise the girl who was staring back at her from the mirror.

Her hair was straightened. A light layer of makeup and a red lipstick, Small white stone stud earrings, black heels, a beige handbag and her cute white dress completed her look.

Maya looked beautiful.

When her phone rang she picked it up and adhi said he was waiting for her at the gate.

Maya wasnt a least bit worried about the fact that she was skipping classes. If her dad found out that was it for maya. But the thought of her Dad didnt even occur to her as she walked down the hostel collidoors.

Girls of the hostel was turning their heads as maya passed by. She was sure maya would've became an even bigger celebrity with yesterday's incident. As maya reached the gate she heard preethy and taniyas cheers from the balcony. Maya waved back and walked towards the black suv parked outside.

As she neared the car she could see a figure leaning on it. Adhi. He was wearing a black shirt and jeans. Looking extremely handsome. As she got close. She could see his shocked expression.

"Hii" maya said as she approached him.

Adhi cleared his throat "You look beautiful" he pulled her into a hug and she just basked in his warmth. Mine. Her heart whispered.

"Where are we going?" Maya looked up through her eyelashes still in his embrace.

"Its a surprise" Adhi placed a small kiss on maya's nose and lead her to the car.
