It had been a month since Angel found out she was pregnant, she was now about 2 months pregnant. She wasn't overly showing, but there was a tiny miniscule bump. You could only see it if you look very closely. Otherwise, no one would have the slightest idea.
Currently, they were keeping a 'low profile' as Niklaus would put it. Staying at the old plantation house as Niklaus formed a plan to take over the city of New Orleans. Recently Niklaus had been gone a lot, leaving her alone with Elijah and Kol.
It wasn't like she didn't love them, but she missed seeing her other mate. She felt like a part of her was missing, she blamed the mate bond. Since she had bonded with all of them, being without even one of had an effect on her.
Shaking her head Angel pulls herself out of her thoughts, focussing on the task at hand. Currently, she was trying to convince Elijah and Kol to take her with them when they went into the French Quarter. She had been cooped up in the plantation since they had arrived there, her mates saying it was too dangerous to go outside in 'her condition'. It was like being pregnant was a disability to them, making them even more protective than they already were.
"Please, Elijah." Angel whines, knowing that he would be easier to convince then Kol. Even though Kol was the youngest out of all the Mikaelsons it seemed that he was most protective over her and the baby. Even more than Niklaus, the baby's actual Father.
"Baby, I said no. It is not safe outside for you and the baby. You haven't seen how dangerous New Orleans is now. There are vampires, witches, werewolves, pretty much every supernatural creature you can think of. We can't have you or the baby getting hurt." Elijah tells Angel firmly, leaving almost no room for arguing.
Now usually Angel wouldn't push it. She would accept that he said no and there was nothing she could do about it. Although this time she wasn't giving up easily, she hadn't been outside for nearly a month and she was tired of it.
She was tired of being treated like a piece of glass, someone who could break at the slightest touch or sound. She was pregnant, not disabled.
"Elijah, I have been stuck in this house for over a month. Nik is barely ever here, and even when you guys are here you aren't. No matter how much I ask you don't tell me anything. Elijah, I need air. I need a chance to be with other people. You can't keep me here forever! Now, let me go outside or I swear to god I won't speak to any of you until this baby is born!" Angel finally yells, her hand waving around to emphasize her point before they finally settle on her stomach.

She didn't mean to blurt all that stuff out, but she couldn't help it. Everything had been piling up on her, making her feel like she was buried under a pile of bricks with no way to get out.
At her words, Elijah stops what he was doing, turning around to stare at her completely. He didn't know what to say, he thought everything had been fine. Sure they had been busy, but they were focused on finding a way to keep the baby safe.
Being the Mikaelsons they had many enemies. Ones that would do anything to harm Angel and the baby. They had to prepare for that, and taking over New Orleans was part of that plan.
After standing there for a while, Elijah finally nods his head. Maybe, for one day. As long as both he and Kol were there to keep her safe. He guessed they could go out, for only a little. Maybe just to get food.
"Fine," Elijah says, "You can come out with us." Before Elijah can finish Angel interrupts him, letting out a loud squeal. Jumping up and down, Angel lets a huge smile grow on her face before jumping onto Elijah. Barely giving him any time to catch her, although he manages to in time.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Angel yells, places kisses all over Elijah. Any place that she can reach. Sure she had mood swings, happy one minute angry the next. Although, she blamed the baby. She had done some research on pregnancy and found out that was a common symptom.
Before Angel can keep celebrating Elijah sits down, keeping Angel on his lap. "Baby, you didn't let me finish. We can only go out for an hour, two at most. And, we are only going out for food, nothing more. We're only going to Rousseau's. Lastly, you have to stay by mine and Kol's side. We're not letting you out of our site for even a second." Elijah finishes, setting his hands on Angel's waist to stop her from her excited squirming.
Pausing for a second, Angel thinks about what Elijah said. It was an improvement, at least they were finally letting her go out. Even if it was 100% supervised.
"Okay, deal." Angel says, snuggling closer to her mate. Turning around, Angel settles down with her back to his front. Moving closer, Angel lets out a comfortable sigh. Elijah moving his hands to rest on Angel's stomach, loving the feel of the tiny hard bump.
"Maybe we can go after a nap." Angel says quietly, falling asleep as soon as she closes her eyes. Loving the feeling of being in her mates' arms.
"Baby, it's time to wake up." Elijah tells Angel as he slowly shakes her awake. Angel had been asleep for a couple of hours. They would have gone to Rousseau's straight away, but they had to wait for Kol to get home.

He was busy helping Niklaus with his plans. Kol had finally gotten home, so now it was time to go, although Elijah wouldn't of minded if they didn't.
"Elijah?" Angel whispers as she slowly opens her eyes. Moving around so she was now straddling Elijah's lap. Letting out a yawn, Angel rubs her eyes to remove the sleep.
Chuckling at her slightly disheveled appearance, Elijah pushes a few hairs behind her ear. Giving her a soft, lingering kiss on her forehead.
"You ready to go to Rousseau's now? Kol is finally home." Elijah asks her softly, hoping that she had changed her mind. He was still worried.
Remembering that they were finally going out, Angel jumps up. Letting out one last happy squeal before turning around to face Elijah again.
"Can you do my hair before we go?" Angel asks him softly, playing with a loose thread on Niklaus shirt she was wearing. She was over 100 years old and she couldn't do her own hair, it was slightly embarrassing.
"Of course, Baby." Elijah tells her softly. "Why don't you go pick out an outfit, while I go get the hair stuff?" Elijah asks Angel, still keeping his voice soft out of habit. Angel took a while to finally wake up, and she hates loud noises when she was still half asleep.
"Okay." Angel tells Elijah, her voice in the same soft tone he used previously. Giving him one last tired smile before speeding up the stair toward her bedroom.
Before Angel can make it into her room she runs into a wall, or at least what she thinks is a wall. Before she can fall to the group two large hands grab her hips, pulling her to its chest. It wasn't a wall. Looking up, Angel notices it was Kol. Giving him a large smile, Angel jumps into his arms. Snuggling closer into his warm chest.
"I missed you." Angel mumbles, the noise being muffled in his chest.
Looking down, Kol lets out a chuckle at his adorable mate. He had missed her as well, he didn't like being away from her for long. "I missed you as well, Darling. Where are you headed to?" Kol asks her softly, resting his hands under her thighs to keep her from falling as she nuzzles into his neck.
"Clothes, we're going to Rousseau's." Angel mumbles, wrapping her legs around Kol's waist. Chuckling again at her cuteness, Kol speeds to her room. Setting her down with a small struggle when they reach her closet.
"What do you want to wear, Darling? A skirt, a dress, or pants?" Kol asks, walking into the closet as Angel walks to the bed. Sitting down on it with a huff, she just had a nap but she was still tired. If it was another day she would have gone back to sleep, but today she had somewhere to be for once.
"Darling?" Kol says, snapping Angel out of her thoughts. "What would you like to wear?" Kol asks again.
Shaking her head, Angel smiles again. "Surprise me." She tells him excitedly. It may come as a shock, but her mates had a great fashion sense. She didn't know how, but they always managed to find the best outfits. She didn't really mind when the chose them for her.
Coming out of the closet, Kol holds up two outfits. Telling Angel to choose her favorite, Angel picking the one on the left. A baggy pink sweater with white stripes, and a white skirt. Nodding his head, Kol puts the other outfit away. Setting her favorite on the bed, telling her to go get dressed while he gets Elijah.
After getting dressed, Angel comes out of the bathroom to see Elijah standing by the vanity. Smiling, Angel skips over to the vanity, sitting down on the chair and telling Elijah to surprise her. It seemed like all her mates could do hair, how she had no clue.
After only a few minutes, Elijah's done. Looking in the mirror, Angel admires the pretty twists and braids in her hair. One far more complicated than she could ever imagine learning. After looking at it for a while, Angel turns back around to Elijah.
Telling him thank you, Angel gives him a small kiss on the lips. One that leads to a small make out session before Angel's stomach interrupts them. A growl sounding through the room as an embarrassed blush forms on Angels face at the sound.
"Sorry," Angel mutters out shyly. A small chuckle escaping Elijah. "It's fine, Baby. Maybe it's time we go get food." Elijah tells her softly, holding out his hand for Angel to take, which she does.
Walking down the stairs, Angel and Elijah meet Kol who was sitting in the kitchen drinking from a blood bag.
"It's time to go." Elijah tells Kol, watching as he speeds away for a second before returning clean. Taking Angels other hand as they walked to the door.
Although, before they can make it the door slams open. Angel getting pushed behind the two men as they let each let out a growl, showing their vampire's faces.
"Brothers, is that any way to treat your sister?" A familiar voice says, their tone filled with humor and slight annoyance. It only takes Angel a second before she recognizes the voice, speeding out from behind her mates to their arms as soon as she does. Getting pulled into a tight hug.

The Designated: Out of Control
It happened quicker than anyone would have imagined. Multiple hurricanes were one thing. People had dealt with that in the past. But, like kids playing dominoes, one thing crashed into another. Areas affected by hurricanes needed resources all along the Gulf and East Coasts drew rescuers and resources away from other parts of the country. When wildfires lit up the Pacific coast and mid-west, those areas were already understaffed. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.
