《The Innocent Salvatore (Niklaus, Elijah and Kol)》Chapter 7

It had been a day since Angel had found out her Father and Uncle were alive, or well undead now. As much as she wanted to spend time with them she had to find her Mom. That's why, at this moment she was sneaking out of the Salvatore Boarding House. She was over one hundred years old and she was sneaking out of her parents house.
Getting out of bed as quietly as she could she tiptoes over to the window sliding it open, trying not to make any sound. Lifting one leg out, then the next she sits on the window seal, counting to three before leaping off landing gracefully on the grass bellow. Taking a deep breath she looks around before speeding off into the forest. Heading toward the room where her Mother was.
After only five minutes, even though it felt like hours because of how excited and nervous she was, she arrived at the tomb. She was happy but nervous at the same time, what if her Mother wasn't there any more, what if she was gone.
With those thoughts sworming through her mind Angel walking into the tomb preparing herself for whatever might happen. As she enters she's met with dim lights and stone walls, a dungen looking place.
"Mom?" She calls out, even though she knew it was stupid. Even if her Mom was there she most likely wouldn't of heard her. She definitely didn't expect a response, or anything for that matter.
"Angel? Is that you?" She hears a voice that sounds a lot like her mom ask from an opening in the wall. Turning faster than she can blink she looks towards where the voice came from, noticing her Mother. Angel speeds over to her about to rap her in a hug, but before she can he Mother screams, yelling out for her to stop.
"You can't come in. When a vampire enters they can't come out, if you come in this tomb now you will never be able to escape! I don't care if I'm stuck here but you can't be!" Katherine yells, determined that her daughter would never enter the tomb. As soon as Angel hears this she feels like her world had just ended, crumbled in front of her.
To some people she may be overreacting, but to her this was one of the worst things that could of ever happened. Her Mother, the person who had been with her through thick and thin was trapped. Katherine might never be able to get out of that tomb and she couldn't enter. Tears spring to Angels eyes at every thought and scenario that crossed her mind.
Most of the time she would try to keep the tears in, not let anyone see her when she was weak. Now she couldn't help it, sobs rush out of her, tumbling out of her at an alarming speed. Angel sinks down to her knees hiding her head between her arms, trying to conceal herself.
"No, no, Little Dove. Don't cry." Katherine tries to console her daughter, it paining her she couldn't just get out and hug her herself.
"M-mom, I-I c-can't br-breath!" Angel chokes out holding her hands around her neck as her vision starts to get blurry.
"Angel stay awake! Angel! Angel!" Katherine yells as she hears her daughter's breathing get slower and slower. That's the last thing Angel hears before her mind goes blank and she blacks out, falling slump onto the floor.
When Angel passed out Katherine felt one thing she hadn't felt in a long time, helpless. Katherine had always felt powerful, in control. Right now she felt the opposite, her daughter was laying slump on the floor, she couldn't die from this but it didn't stop her from worrying. If anything happened she was unprotected and she couldn't protect her at all.

That's when different scenarios, all ending horrifically in Angel death passed through Katherines mind. Making her shoot up like a fire was lit underneath her. Speeding up to entrance of the tomb Katherine bangs against the invisible wall, trying with all her might to break the unbreakable barrier. No matter how much force she used it wouldn't break, or even dent a little. Bliding by rage Katherine didn't notice the footsteps signaling a person, or people coming down the steps.
As Niklaus walked down the steps of the tomb, ready with a witch to get Katherine out to use a leverage when the most wonderful scent filled his nose. One of beautiful beaches, flower and everything that could possibly smell good he smelt at the moment.
He stops, closing his eyes for a second to relish in the wonderful sent. All of his previous thoughts were thrown out the window as his mind came to the only possible conclusion. He had found his mate. After over 1,000 years of waiting he had finally found her. Someone who would love him no matter what, no matter how much he messed up, no matter how much of a bastard he was. Someone would be there, to love him through it all.
Leaving the witch behind Niklaus speeds down the steps, letting his nose lead him to his mate seeing her as soon as he gets down. The only thing in his mind when he saw her was beautiful. She was the most beautiful women he had ever seen.
Blinded by her beauty he almost didn't realize how her breathing was almost non existent, her body slumped against a wall in an uncomfortable position. He was instantly met with a sense of possession and worry seeing her this way. He couldn't lose her, not ever.
Speeding over to where she was he gently picked her up resting her head on his lap, tuning out everything around him except her. Nugging her mouth open he bites into his wrist, letting his deep crimson blood trickle down her throat. Hopefully healing anything that was wrong with her.
"Stop! Please stop! Don't hurt her, she's all I have!" He hears a familiar voice yell from another place the the room. Niklaus rolls his eyes at her pleas picking his mate up like you would a baby, tucking her head into the crook of his neck. The feeling of her soft breaths on his neck was the best feeling he could of possibly felt.
"Shut her up!" Niklaus yells as quietly as he could, to the witch Greta, he didn't want to wake the precious girl in his arms. With a snap of the witches fingers Katherine was silent, her neck snapped.
"Get her out and to the house, you know where. Don't let her escape. If you do I will kill you and everyone you care about." Niklaus tells the witch calming, loving how afraid she looked at that moment. After giving his orders Niklaus holds his mate tighter in his arms, tucking her head further into his neck before speeding away from the tomb, going towards his recently bought house.
After a short few minutes of running Niklaus and his mate arrive at his house. A large luxurious place, not like anything else was expected. Going over to the front door he opens it, ignoring the beautiful and expensive decorations and furniture heading straight to his room.
Reaching the bedroom he goes straight to the bed, places his mate down onto it softly making sure he doesn't wake her. Grabbing a blanket from the bottom of the bed Niklaus tucks her in softly, giving her forehead a gentle kiss before leaving her to rest in silence. As much as he wanted to stay and hold her in his arms he knew he couldn't, he had stuff to do to make everything ready for her.

Giving her one last longing kiss on the forehead he stares at her a small while longer before leaving the room, closing the door softly behind him.
Waking up a smile makes its way to Damon's face about the fact his daughter was alive. After over 100 years of believing she was dead, he found out she wasn't. Looking at the clock he notices it's around 11:30, almost lunch time.
Getting up from the bed he throws on a shirt and a pair of sweatpants before making his way down the stairs. Given how late it was Angel must of been hungry, if she wasn't now she would be when she woke up.
Entering the kitchen Damon walks over to the fridge, getting out all the ingredients he would need for his pancakes he would alway make for Angel when she was young. Due to super speed Damon was done within a few minutes, a plate of pancakes in one hand a glass of orange juice in the other. It had always been her favorite breakfast, ever chance she got she would ask for a plate of her Fathers famous pancakes and a cup of orange juice.
Walking up the stairs Damon makes his way to his Daughters room, knocking on the door softly waiting for a response. After a few seconds of nothing Damon assumes she was asleep as smile making its way to his face at the thought. Opening the door Damon walks towards the bed, setting the breakfast down on her bedside table.
"Angel, Baby. It's time to wake up. I have your favorite breakfast ready for you." Damon whispers shaking what he thought to be her daughter softly to wake her. When he still gets no response he pulls the covers off her not expecting her to not be there.
Instead of seeing his daughter Damon sees a stack of pillows, formed to look like a person. At this rage fills his mind, she had ran. Why would she run? She had just found out he was alive, was she not happy about him being alive.
Racking his brain Damon tries to think any place she might of gone. Almost out of ideas it finally crossed his mind. Katherine. That's why she came here, to find her. She must of found out she was in the tomb, yelling out to Stefan to get dressed and come Damon throws on his leather jacket and some shoes. Telling Stefan he would explain on the way.

When they had gotten to the tomb they instantly realized it was empty, Katherine wasn't there anymore, no one was. Looking around they noticed the familiar line of the ritual used to open the tomb, the torches still slightly warm.
"Klaus." They both whisper at the same time, coming to the same conclusion.
"We have to get her back." Damon tells Stefan trying to think how they would be able to without killing themselves in the process.
"I know where he is, I'll go talk to him." Stefan tells his brother, worried about his niece as well.
Yawning Angel opens her eyes softly, sitting up on the bed before rubbing her small fists to her tired eyes. Closing her eyes Angel lies back down about to fall asleep again, digging her face into a pillow she shuts her eyes tighter trying to block out any light.
She's almost asleep, but before she can fall asleep she realizes something feels off. Taking a deep breath she realizes her pillow smells different, like a mixture of colon and a fresh forest. Not that it was bad sent, quite the opposite really, but it didn't smell like her pillow.
Sitting up again Angel looks around the room, noticing that it wasn't her room she was in right now. Standing up as quietly as she could Angel walks over to the door of the beautiful room, twisting the knob to see if it was locked. It wasn't.
Twisting it all the way Angel opens the door, making sure to keep everything quiet as of not to alert anyone. Walking out the door Angel keeps her steps light, trying not to call any attention to herself. Although she might of looked quite silly, walking around an unknown house with no shoes and bed head.
She's left walking around trying to find a possible exit. She's about to give up, but before she can she sees a long staircase, leading to a large door she would assume was the front door. Looking left and right she's about to sneak down, before she can make it down the first step the doorbell rings making her step back quickly. She watches as a handsome blond man speeds forward opening the door without checking who it was.
"Stefan," the man says loudly, "what do I owe the pleasure?" The blond man asks cockly a britsh accent heavy in his words. Angel couldn't help but think back to Elijah, for some strange reason she didn't feel like he was dead after all.
"You have my niece, I want her back." Stefan tells the man cockly, like he would just hand her over. Angel started to worry, what if he couldn't make a deal. What if she was stuck here with this strange man she didn't know, all alone with no one else.
"I haven't the slightest idea who you are speaking of?" Niklaus tells the man feigning surprise.
"You know who I'm talking about. Angel, where is she?" Stefan tells the man angrily, he wanted her back, he owed it to Damon at least.
'Angel' Niklaus thought to himself, 'such a beautiful name, suiting.'
"I'll tell you what," Niklaus starts a diabolical plan coming to mind. "Either you trade Elena for Angel, or I keep Angel for the rest of our lives." Niklaus tells the man knowing he would choose Elena in a heartbeat, no matter how much he claimed to love his niece he loved his b*itchy girlfriend more.
It disgusted him, how could someone choose some stupid human they had only known for a few month instead of family, flesh and blood. He may of kept his family in boxes but that didn't mean he didn't love them. He would do anything for them, even Finn.
"I'll let you keep Angel on one condition," Stefan tells the man after only 2 minutes of thinking. "You leave me and Elena alone. Also, no one knows about this, if anyone asks this deal didn't happen." Stefan told the man, bargaining for his own benefit.
In his own way Stefan felt guilty, but the way he saw it Damon deserved it. After coming in the way of his happiness so many times he deserved this, he needed to put his happiness before anything else this time. In his own way Stefan thought it was right, trading his nieces life for his own happiness.
At his answer Niklaus felt disgusted, he wanted nothing more then to snap this man's neck and torcher him in every way possible. Forcing a smirk to his face Niklaus held out his hand, accepting the deal. All the while Angel sat at the top of the stairs tears in her eyes as she rushed back into the room she came from.
Falling down on the bed Angel cried for what felt like the hundredth time that week. Stefans answer was all she could think about. Lost in her own pity Angel didn't notice the other person entering the room until she felt arms pull her to a hard chest.
"It's going to be ok, love." The unknown man told her softly, keeping her to his chest to comfort her.
"I promise." He told his mate softly, meaning every word.
