everyones heard of the name zach andrews by now, the first victim of the serial kidnapper known as "the grabber", who has been terrorizing a once quiet denver suburb.
it has now been 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days since zach andwers' disappearance, and he has become just another name in the long list of missing children in the united states.

as zach turned the corner on willow drive he felt a breeze that sent chills up his back, almost as if the wind were saying "turn back". he didnt though, he kept walking, he had never been superstitious and he certainly wasnt going to start today.
he usually didnt go this way, but he hadnt had the best of days so he'd decided to take the long way home, the one that passed through a practically isolated part of town, just to collect his thoughts you know? but as that creepy black van began approaching, he'd began to rethink his decision.
maybe i should turn back..
he didnt. he was 5 minutes from home now and turning back would be a complete waste of time. so he kept walking. even as the black van parked right behind him, he kept walking. even as a man in a creepy mask got out, he kept walking. even as the man opened his trunk, he kept walking. even as the man began to approach him, he kept walking–although now at a faster pace—he kept walking until the very moment the man grabbed his arm and sprayed that disgusting spray in his mouth.
i should have turned back.

Up til an injury that left him without a leg, he was able to make do simply killing insects as no one cared and he didn't even have to visit any doctors about it. People just thought he hated bugs! But after his injury he has been suck at his home not being able to do anything! Fortunately he is rich and spends most of his time playing MMOs since normal VRMMOs don't work well with his injury as the realism setting always keeps him with only one leg! But what will he do with a new opportunity to rebuild his leg with nanotech? Knowing he has to spend a year in the game minimum for something like this, he sets a goal to insure he doesn't go crazy (er) without having stuff to kill.This is a VRMMO story where the game is closer to zhan long than royal road with a few twists here and there. The world outside of the game is sci fi and has very little impact at least for the first year due to obvious reasons. No gore or explicit sex in this story, if cursing requires a mature tag I will add it later, this story is at best PG-13. Tragedy is for his circumstances and previous life, the game itself isn't tragic at all as it's just a game more or less.(This story will be put out alongside my main story whenever I feel like it for now, no set schedule at this time)

This book contains themes concerning life, death, and body functions, light swearing, minimal nakedness, and should be suitable for most. Some pertinent info: Ten Thousand Sallys is a complete novel of approximately 140 pages in 20 chapters. Around 80,000 words. not too long, and maybe too short. Give it a read and let me know your opinion.
