《L O S E R》-Chapter 15-

"Alex I think someone is trying to reach you," Aaron shouted from the living room. I had just finished the math homework that I had put off doing for days. It wasn't like my teacher had assigned us a huge amount of homework, but my relationship with the subject, judging by my last test kind of rocky and spending my nights pulling my hair out over a stupid equation didn't seem very appealing.
As I walked down the rather large staircase the familiar sound of my ringtone became louder and louder. The sweet sound of one of my favourite songs Hotel California played like a sweet tune from somewhere in this house. It surprised me when it continued playing over and over again while I was on all four searching under the sofa for my phone.
Originally I was not allowed to even have one, but when I had begged them continuously for a week finally cracked and took me to the mall the next day. Of course, it followed with a bunch of rules that I had to promise I would keep, but that was honestly expected when live with such over protective siblings.
I let out an annoyed huff when it wasn't in my bag either. I was surprised of the consistency of the calling because as soon as the ringing stopped it didn't take more than a few seconds it started up again, playing in a continuous beat.
"Where the fuck is my phone?!" I yelled out in frustration. I trew my backpack and jacket on the floor and emptied the entire key bowl.
"Are you looking for this?" I turned around and instantly spotted my black IPhone vibrating in Aaron's hand.
I lunged forward and quickly pulled in out of his grip before I was finally able to answer the call.
"Hello, it's Alex," I said, a little out of breath.
"Hey, Alex... it's me, Lucas."
I instantly stopped dead in my tracks and carefully sat down on the sofa. I can't explain how, but I had this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. Something was wrong.
"Lucas! I am so sorry..." I rushed out the words.
Shit! I never got around to call and tell him what happened. Oh no, Olivia! She probably freaked out when she found out I was gone. She was probably waiting for me at the diner.

"Don't worry Alex. The guys tracked down your kidnapper, we are coming to save you." He said confidently.
Oh no he thinks my brothers kidnapped me. Well, technically they did since they first drugged me then moved me across the country, AND forced me to live with them. Ok, that's not the point, what the hell am I going to do now?
"No Lucas, you don't understand..." I tried.
I could hear the sound of other people in the background and the sound that came out was a bit unclear but I managed to get the last few words.
"I am coming for you Sorrelina."
~~~~
He hung up on me.
Now, what the hell am I supposed to do?
It's not like I can just pick up my phone and call Mason that is currently out of town and say that my very protective gang friends are coming to your house to take me back to New York and maybe kill you.
Yeah... I might have forgotten to mention that both Lucas and Blaze are not only pretty scary to look at but they are also high members of one of the biggest gangs in the country, the Voids.
To be honest that information came as a huge shock to me at first. I couldn't believe that such nice and goofy guys like themselves could be involved in something so illegal and wrong.
But as they started to explain it all to me, it kind of made sense why they would go out of town so often and bring home these scary-looking guys to their apartment. When I would come to visit these creepy guys would answer their door and something seemed very wrong.
So back to my current problem. How was I supposed to fix and clear up all of this mess? There was no simple way of explaining this to my brothers and the thought of them getting in the middle of the was unbearable.
"Are you okay?" I turned around.
Aaron was leaning against the doorframe with a concerned look etched on to his usual scowling face, his eyes looking a bit darker than usual. He was wearing a simple band tee and a pair a jeans, looking pretty if I must say so.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said trying my best to make it seem so.
He took a couple of steps closer to me and leaned down to pick up my now broken cellphone. Wow, when did that happen?
"Call me crazy, but I don't think you're fine." He said plopping himself down on the couch before patting the seat to him.
I sighed before flopping down on the couch next to him. It's probably gonna take some time before Leo and the rest of them arrive. I carefully weighed my options. I could try to convince them that I was actually not being held hostage and that I was completely unharmed, but I had a feeling that he wouldn't just leave without putting up a fight.
On the other side, I don't think involving my brothers in this mess is much better. They would probably get aggressive and do something stupid if I know them right.
"So are you going to tell me what's bothering you or do I have to guess?" Aaron asked leaning further back into the pillows.
"Nah I think I'm fine," I replied turning my attention back to my thoughts.
It didn't take more than a couple of seconds before he started annoying me again. The sound of his fingers hitting against the wooden edge of the table was slowly driving me crazy.
I looked over at him to find that he was already looking at me with a sly grin. That bastard!
"Are you done?" I asked.
"It depends, are you going to tell me what made you break your precious phone?" He asked.
Seriously doesn't he have anything better to do than bug me?
I flipped around so I could lie on my stomach. And Aaron took that as a cue to do the same. I studied his face that nowadays had yet shown any kind of emotions. Occasionally he would bless the world with a small smirk but even that was rare.
"So I have gotten myself into some big trouble." I hesitantly stated.
He let out a laugh and I rolled my eyes.
"I am serious Aaron." I looked him dead in the eye.
"Huh, pissed someone off or what?" he joked.
Suddenly the sound of multiple cars driving up the driveway caught my attention. They were here.
I carefully got off the couch and went over to the window facing the front door. I slowly moved the curtain aside and the sight in front of me quickly confirmed my thoughts.
Six black cars were perfectly lined up on my front lawn. By the looks of it, they hadn't spared anything when it came to this "rescuing".
I was completely frozen in place and I had to physically push myself away from the window. I knew that this was probably not going to end well and by that, I meant that I either going back to New York tonight or they were going to take me with force.
Aaron must have seen the distressed look on my face because it only took a couple of seconds before he was standing right in front of me, taking my shaking hands away from my face.
The amusement from earlier was long gone and his usual cold exterior was ones back. He probably hadn't seen the cars pull up but judging from the sudden display of emotions he knew that something was not right.
"Aaron listen carefully to me. You need to use the back door and get past the people outside without them noticing you. Then you get the hell away from here while you still can."
His expression turned into a confused one and started collecting his sweaters from the laundry pile. I quickly stuffed them into the back of the closet and presided to remove anything that indicated that I was not alone at home.
I knew that it wouldn't take much for Lucas and Blaze to discover that he was living in the house as well and I couldn't take the risk of them thinking that he was part of the kidnapping, because god knows what they would do to him then.
"Alex what are you doing? Why do I have to leave?" He asked.
I sighed and turned around to face him again.
"Leave."
