《Trapped (X F Reader)》Wedding

"C-Caide stop!!"
You giggled and pushed at his chest as he smothered you with kisses.
The wedding was tomorrow and after tonight, traditionally, you wouldn't be able to see each other for a whole day.
"Tsk.." Caide scoffed offended as he turned on his side.
These short months you've lived with him have been all you could hope. Although the arguments were the same, you knew they meant no harm.
The temple was more decorated and furnished.
You actually had a queen bed to sleep in instead of a hard mat on the floor!
"Dont be like that.." you trailed your finger on his back and he shivered.
Caide spun around and quickly snatched up your hand, "Stop teasing!"
You kissed his lips and he narrowed his eyes at you.
"That's all?"
"It's inappropriate isn't it shaman~" you teased and he rolled his eyes.
As you laid beneath the soft, handmade blankets with your soon to be husband, your mind began to wander. Caide must've been deep in thought too because he didn't try to smother you with affection.
Instead you laid cuddled against his chest as you look up at the ceiling.
You were to be married.. tomorrow.
You and Caide would be married.
"Ah.. married huh?" you said aloud and he nodded.
He started to say something that caught your attention, "You know.. I really didn't like you at first.."
"What?! Well it's not like I liked you either!!" you argued but he continued.
"I was suspicious of you.. no one had visited the temple in a while and I was just so surprised to see a young girl on my step.." he sighed and glanced at you, "When my grandpa died.. I was alone you know? I guess I was being a jerk but.. I wasn't used to company you know? I was home schooled and my only friends were spirits who eventually passed on.."
"Oh Caide.." you comforted, stroking his cheek and he rolled his eyes with a grin.
"Anyways.. what I'm trying to say is I'm glad you chose me.."
You smiled and planted a kiss on his lips again.
No more words were exchanged as you fell asleep in each other's arms.
...
"Wake up!!"
You jumped confused and scared as you were awaken from your sleep. You looked at the alarm and it read 4 am.

You opened your tired eyes to everything around you. Caide was still asleep and you wiped the slobber from your face.
"Huh?"
"Come on! Let's get you dressed.."
You looked over at Lance standing above your bed.
"How'd you get in here?!" You whispered yelled and he laughed as he pulled you out the bed.
Lance showed you the newly made red beads on his wrist.
"I can come inside the temple now!"
...
You knew Damon would be helping you get prepared for your wedding.. but you didn't think prepared prepared.
"Look at me!" he yelled applying your makeup.
"Since when do you do makeup?" You asked and Damon laughed.
"I found a professional to teach me these passed few months.."
"That's so sweet!"
"I know~!"
Lance was dressed in a black tuxedo with his black hair slicked back. You noticed a recent mark by his neck.
"What's that?"
He smiled his white, toothy grin, "Oh come on.. this day is about you.."
You nodded and stayed in place.
"But if you really want to know.. Remember the makeup professional I mentioned? I met this woman and I was going to eat her but I-
You quickly cut him off, "Nevermind!"
...
Lance tied your corset dress to the best of his ability as the white lace trailed down.
"Geez you look good.."
"Stop drooling.." you laughed.
Suddenly Lance stopped and gripped your shoulders, "Hey.."
"Hey?"
"Are you sure?"
You rolled your eyes with a smile, "Of course I am! I love Caide.."
"No.. are you sure it's over?"
Your mood changed and annoyance ran through you, "Why wouldn't it be? Are you trying to ruin this day Lance?"
He huffed with his hands on his hips, "Now you know I wouldn't do that!!"
"I know.."
Lance nudged you, "I know what your ring looks like~"
You looked at him with excitement.
"Really?!"
The ring Caide proposed with before was a fake which was okay with you.
Lance didn't reply as he smiled and helped put your hair up.
He pulled out a hair pin and put it in your hair.
"Are you ready?" Damon asked.
Nervousness suddenly washed over you.
"Ah Lance, I'm suddenly really scared.. Who's helping Caide get ready?? What if something happens?? Maybe this is happening too fast.."

"Calm down! I'm sure some of the shamans' spirit friends are helping him get ready! Nothings going to happen and you look beautiful okay?" He kissed your hand, "Let's go okay?"
You nodded and stood up.
You wrapped Lance in a big hug and he returned the favor.
Although he was weird at first.. now that you've gotten to know him, he's been a true companion. He even offered to walk you down the aisle which you politely declined.
The wedding would be small and held outside the temple where the Bonsai tree and stream was.
Lance said he would take care of the decorations and it would be a surprise.
"God Lance.. I really love you.." you smiled as you hugged him tighter.
"I love you too.. now go get married before I steal the bride from the groom!" He grinned lifting you in the air.
It was now or never.
You hadn't seen Caide all day and finally it was time. Lance would be the minister. He said a few century's back he got his certificate?
You slid on your white heels and looked in the mirror one last time.
...
You stood at the exit of the temple and peeked out the window. The decorations were all white lace and cherry blossom pedals were spread on the ground for you to walk on.
It was beautiful.. way more than you thought you deserved.
You slid the bead necklace around your neck.
Finally.. in all the chairs you could see all the guests.
All of them being spirits.
I guess Caide told all the spirits around..
You took a deep breath and slid open the door.
Suddenly the attention was on you and you saw Caide for the first time today.
His hair was tied back and the sun beam off his brown skin. You could see the red highlights in his hair shine.
He looked at you with wide eyes and his jaw dropped a bit.
Your eyes widened too as you saw his attire.
You began to walk and you were glad there weren't many spirits.
You couldn't help but smile, embarrassed at the attention. You walked down the petals and finally you made it infront of Caide.
Your eyes couldn't break away from his gaze as his stare penetrated yours.
Lance began to speak but you weren't listening as you and Caide smiled at each other.
That's when you noticed he had something behind his back.
Caide saw your eyes move and he finally pulled a bouquet of flowers behind his back. They were your favorite and he gave them to you.
"Thank you.." you whispered.
"You're welcome sweetheart.."
Lance shushed you both making Caide laugh and you blush.
Next, Caide pulled out a wooden, handmade ring and slipped it on your ring finger.
"You may kiss the bride!"
A moment wasn't spared as you latched onto one another. The excitement through your body practically bled out but Caide stopped the kiss and took your hand.
There was cheering and Lance hugged you both.
...
"Well that was fun"
Lance yawned and glanced at you, "I'll be leaving now"
"Huh already?!" You whined and Caide placed his hand on your shoulder annoyed, "Alright come visit again!"
Lance smiled and you noticed his eyes dart away from you. His expression changed for a moment as he looked at Caide before smiling again.
You glanced up at Caide.
?
"Alright Y/n.." Lance said again with a stretch, "You have my number right? Call me anytime.."
And just like that.. Damon Lance gave you one last glance with eyes meant to warn you as he left out the front door.
You turned to your new husband.
The love of your life.
Your eyes widened as your eyes landed on him.
You played it off with a smile as Caide pulled you close by the waist.
"God that guys annoying.." he trailed off before looking your way.
His eyes gleamed a bright hazel, but only for just a moment as they returned natural brown. Caide started kissing your neck and you rubbed his chest.
It started getting intimate as his hands gripped your wedding dress.
"W-Wait!" you stopped him, "Go to the bedroom.. I just need a moment alone"
He had a confused look but understood as he went into the room.
You took the hairpin Lance gave you out your hair. It was gold with jade beads hanging off the side.
The beads looked recently carved.
Maybe from the same blade as Lances beads.
No wonder everything was seeming more clear.
You walked in the room and Caide was waiting for you as he sat on the bed.
His eyes glimmered a bright hazel again as you held the hairpin.
"You know.." you laughed a bit looking down at your ring, "I really hate you Caide~"
He smirked and replied, "I hate you too~"
