It feels as if the compounded effect of my multiple injuries pushes my body out of the shock. I am free to move again. With my free right hand I summon my blacksmiths sledgehammer and send the row of goblins hacking at me crashing into the wall. Most are probably still alive, but I got no time to finish them. Unsummoning my hammer I summon one of my spears and launch it at the goblin mage, who is clearly about to launch another spell.

With the goblin mage pinned to the wall we turn the fight into a slaughter of the remaining goblins. When the last goblin drops, Kira rushes to my side. I have never seen her so panicky. Then I remember all my injuries. I start inspecting myself. Using the healing magic I do know I inspect my wounds with mana. I stem the internal bleeding. Remove blood from my ruptured lungs. Looks like the under cloth of the armor kept me from bleeding out. It is wet with blood and stuck to my body. Most of my ribs seems to be broken, and both my arms have fractures.

As I stabilize my body's condition, I see a sudden jump in the natural healing speed. Bones mending, injuries healing. A few minutes later, all my injuries are gone. I check my menu. Regeneration has leveled up and with the booster is now at level 10. I might not be immortal, but at least I heal fast. Both the girls looks stunned when I get up and walk around as if I never had an injury.

"Don't worry I am fully healed." "That is some amazing healing magic." Carna's comment is followed by Kira's comment. "That was mostly not magic." Kira knows just enough healing magic to tell that I did not complete the healing magic process. "Kira is right. Healing such injuries is still a bit outside my abilities, but I have a very high natural healing ability." Carna looks surprised. "If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it, but looks like you have a very high level regeneration skill. I have heard of hunters with those. They are hard to spot unless the skill is really high leveled."

We proceed to hunt down the few remaining goblins in the cave and at last we enter the deepest room to find the female hunter we have come to rescue. She looks to be in a similar state to Mari, when I first found her. She is laying on her back with roots tying her hands above her head to the ground. Must have been made with magic.

The second prisoner lays next to her. As Carna and Kira sees to their friend I approach the second prisoner. She is a tall woman, quite lanky now, but her build implies that she used to have a lot more muscles. She seems to come to her senses when she spots me. Based on her attempts to talk, she clearly hasn't been using her voice a lot lately. Her legs are kicking about. I cover her naked body with a piece of cloth and cut the roots binding her. As she rubs her wrists, I stand up to give her a helping hand. She takes more than a helping hand.

With surprising speed and agility she jumps up wrapping both her arms and legs around my body. "Human...male...better" What on earth is she doing. "No need to be afraid, we will take you back to the guild." My analyze skill tells me that she is a former hunter. She isn't making a lot of sense at the moment. With the woman wrapped around me like the body suit I turn to the other girls. They seem just as surprised as me.

I try to remove her, but give up. She is really strong. Not surprising since she is level 17 overall. With the kills I raked up today I just ranked up to level 12. I try using analyze on her to find out more about her. Her name is Nadi, Rank C hunter, level 17, specialize in sword skills, but she also has more skills with close quarter weapons than I do. A very strong hunter. The only way she got caught must have been because of the goblin mage. I need to improve my defense against magic, as I was also almost taken out by that same mage.

I am getting a bit tired of standing with a tall woman wrapped around me. Who wouldn't after a long enough time. As I sit down, Nadi's right hand goes straight for my crotch. Can't say I have ever been sexually assaulted, but think I get it now. Before she can do any more I stand up and go to the other girls. "I think I know why this one is stuck to me. She seems to obsessively want to have sex with me." It sound really ridiculous saying it out loud.

Carna responds before Kira. "So give her what she wants. It is not like you have any problem with having sex with a goblin wife." What shocks me most about the statement is that word seems to have spread about Mari's experience. Kira responds next, "If she will calm down, why don't you just do her." Now that is just plain hurtful. I would never ask Kira to sleep with horny lunatic to calm him down, so why is it different with me. The girls leave me alone with my captor in the cave.

About an hour late Nadi seems satisfied. She is even talking to me. "Sorry about that, the goblins started ignoring me some time back when they realized I couldn't have their offspring. It has been building up since then. When the new girl got caught it got even worse as they were obsessed with her." Nadi is definitely your atypical victim of goblin abuse. She seems fine now. "Why do you get so obsessive about having sex?" It seemed like a severe addiction to me. "I don't know, but it started about half way through my captivity."

With all the new information I have from Nadi herself, I have another look with analyze to see if it can tell me more. Looking at her skills, she has a couple that make more sense now. One makes her immune to goblin procreation. It is not like she is sterile, her body just rejects goblin seeds. The other one is a bit more disturbing. Analyze calls it Lust, it is at level 4, and the description reads: Significantly increased libido that needs an outlet. Since skills of this world don't seem to have an off button, this one seems potentially dangerous, as it can turn a perfectly normal person into a sexual predator. At least she is a reasonably attractive woman. She shouldn't have any issues finding people to sleep with, and if anyone calls her a goblin wife, she could easily clobber him.

We start clearing the cave and the entrance of goblin corpses. Too much hassle to cut out the mana stone here when I can just bring the whole body back to the farm for dismantling. We also find a surprising amount of loot in the cave. Some are the personal effect of Rin's two companions. Rin is the name of the archer girl. We agree to pass these to Rin, as the two men weren't married. It seems that equipment found will normally go the finders, but a good gesture is to bring it back to any widows of the dead hunter. Rin being their long time companion is the next best thing.

We get back to the farmhold by evening. Nadi slips away, no doubt to find some guy she can vent her lust on. As we settle down for the night I find myself surprisingly in need of Kira's company. Kira is more than happy to accept my lust, but it goes on for quite some time. As she passes out from exhaustion, I realize I still got a lot of energy left. Slightly worried I look at the menu and find the culprit. Of course, my aptitude for picking up skills has always been abnormal. Normally I just need to be exposed to the skill once or twice to learn it. I have acquired Lust level 1.
