CLASH
KLANG
KSSHING
Thunder ran through the sky as two magnificent blades clashed against each other. Two figures stood on opposite sides of a hill, preparing for their final blow.
“I suppose I should congratulate you...for surviving long enough to see my full power, that is.”
“I could say the same to you.”
Hell’s Fire flickered along the length of one blade. Sinuous ribbons of water flowed and streamed around the other.
CRACK
The figures surged forward, the very ground screaming with the force of their movement, as each raised their blades. Time stood still, as if they pulled the weight of the world behind their swords, then—
FLASH
Sparks and steam filled the air. The blades shrieked against each other as their opposing elements collided, hissing and scraping as fire, water, and steel met in a beautiful, deadly dance.
BANG
The two leapt apart once more, propelled by the force of their elements rejecting one another.
“This is your end.”
“Not mine. Yours!”
Killing intent rent the air as much as their swords. Each of their strikes was powerful enough to split mountains, and yet they swung, again and again, unfathomable strength locked in a violent impasse. The blades showed no signs of wear. Neither did their wielders.
*crack*
A smile crept up on one blade and that blade alone, as it got wider with every attack. The determination of both the blades and the wielders made the battle so fearful that even the gods dared not interfere.
Finally, the battle came to an end with a blade and its user getting thrown back to a wall. Slowly, a figure approached with his blade in his hands, and a smile accompanied him along the way.
This figure looked like a messenger from hell itself, boasting of his short but scorching red hair, and his dark skin filled with marks from his previous battles, including a scar on his right eye. He was wearing black armor, but they were not thick enough to be used for battles.

"Kuh...M..may I get your name?" Asked the figure fallen on the ground. The person was in a miserable state. A face covered in blood as if a ritual had taken place on it. The blood on the wounds had almost bleached his black hair, in crimson red leaving a few bangs of black.
“Why?”
“No never mind, please give my party members this letter. They should be making their way here now.” His hands reached out shaking, doing his best to get the letter to the figure in front of him.
The figure stared at the letter studying it to get signs of any traps. Then, he looks at the dying figure on the floor, almost feeling proud of the work he had done. While looking at the dead figure on the floor, there was something he didn’t understand.
“Why do you fight?”
“For the people,” the figure replied faintly.
“I am sure you knew you couldn’t beat me before you came. Why did you come anyway?”
“Because I believe a hero always wins, although it might not be me, I know another will come to slay you!”
A vicious smile crept on his face after hearing the hero’s answer. That smile turned into loud echoing laughter, which showed his superiority in the duel.
“Then you shall die a hero’s death!”
*slash*
The blade ran through his flesh, splitting his head from the rest of his body, and just as the head touched the ground the legs of the figure gave up, leaving him on his knees looking up at the sky.
*drip* *drip* *splatter*
Rain dripped down the sky heavily, as the clouds themselves mourned for the hero's death. The figure then reached his tongue out to get some of the water on it.

*plop* *plop*
Slowly and steadily, the water around took humanoid form. The humanoid water shape got disrupted as a human being immerged from within. Slowly the man approached the fallen hero, bathed from blood with no head connected to his body. Bending down, the man reached the fallen hero, to get a better grasp of the situation.
While doing so, the person made sure to not let his pure snow-white hair touch the filth on the ground.
“Poor hero, what barbarian would do this to you?”
“I am that barbarian,” the figure embraced while walking towards the white-haired man.
“And what is your business here?”
“You killed the water hero?” the man went on to ask as he changed his focus to the figure approaching him.
“Yes, it was a great battle indeed,” the figure answered expressing his content with the battle.
“Then it is only fit that you follow him,” the white-haired man disappeared, appearing behind the figure kicking him with great force into a tree, breaking them down as he goes. Finally coming to a stop, he lounged at the white-haired man but as soon as he got in front of him… his heart was pierced.
“Have I offended you?” the figure said faintly.
“No, not me, but my master.” the white-haired man replied as he calls water forth to clean his hands.
“Wha-What is his reason?” the figure asked as that was all he could muster himself to say, the pain was too much and he knew he would die.
A long silent pause engulfed their conversation, as you could hear the crickets and the birds singing gracefully, applauding the white-haired man for killing the figure.
“Well… This is not a bad way to die, in the hands of a strong person,” the figure muttered to himself getting ready to die peacefully.
“The reason I came to kill you here today is because...” the white-haired man started.
“Because?” the figure said as he tried his best to hear the reason before dying.
“Because…” The white-haired man trailed as he walked closer to the dying body to study it just like he had done the first time. Then, as he looked into the figure’s dull eyes one last time, he smirked, finishing his words as he stepped back.
“Because a hero always wins!”

The Little Black Umbrella
Gillean had just lost his best friend and is feeling utterly miserable and lonely. Being smart doesn't fend off loneliness. If nothing having the combination of smarts AND the lack of forward planning got him into the state he currently was in - rejection and the feeling of being a failure. Cue in the sounds of angelic trumpets. RaRa, his best friend, returns to "save the day". Well. What she thinks of as saving the day that is. Corny ideals, lame ideas. The two get into one last patch of trouble together as they sneak back into RaRa's home. Just what kind of family secrets has RaRa been keeping from Gill. In blood and thunder, Gill finds out. Please read the content warnings (there may be spoilers within though) if you have triggers. Also there is a slight mention of LGBTQ+, so please don't read this short story if even a short mention bothers you. ======================= My first short story (It's short - 5 chapters, 10,000 word-ish kinda short! And also completed *self pats* that I will be releasing in mini chapters (of 500-800 words each) on Fridays and Saturdays.). Happy to hear actionable and constructive criticisms on how I can improve, but please don't be too harsh okay? :) I know it's not perfect. But hey, we all have to start somewhere.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
