《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 38

Bob, who still hadn't clear vision, struggled to see where the dead guards were.
In the process of removing the contact lenses, he scratched his retina, making him unable to see for a while.
But Bob was crawling towards the right place.
A dead guard was few feet away from him.
Meanwhile Camshron and Phantom being were wrestling on the ground.
Phantom being still had a heavy grip on his neck.
Camshron began choking.
He could feel his arm being unable to keep the gun away from himself.
Phantom Being forced his way to his hand's freedom and pressed the gun against his chest.
He was just a press away from killing Camshron.
CRACK!
Phantom Being screamed.
Camshron had broken Phantom Being's index finger.
The pain made Phantom Being loosen his grip over Camshron's neck.
Camshron heard Phantom Being drop his gun.
Camshron didn’t want it.
He just kicked it away and stomped on Phantom Being's fingers while he was recovering from the agony.
Camshron felt bones crack underneath his soles.
He punted on the killer's forehead.
There was another click somewhere.
This time the entire room illuminated.
Bob stood over the dead guard, holding a rifle.
And he was pointing it towards Camshron.
Phantom Being laughed despite of having mangled palm.
Bob unlocked the rifle.
"WHOEVER IS INSIDE THERE, COME OUT!" an announcement came from the street, "THERE WILL NOT BE ANY BLOOD."
Bob looked through the open window.
Many MPD vans were present outside the house area with armed cops reaching inside the villa yard.
"Cops!" Bob was shaken.
Phantom Being laughed louder.
While Camshron and Bob stood frozen, Phantom Being walked past them.
Before Camshron could notice anything, Phantom Being had retrieved his gun.
Now he was aiming it at Camshron.
He unlocked the silencer, dropped it with loud clatter and fired with his broken finger.

Those shattered fingers had no chance of hitting the target.
Even Phantom Being knew it.
He had fired the shot for just sound's sake.
Phantom Being smiled.
Bullets tore their way from outside to inside the house through walls, windows and every place.
Bob and Camshron lay on floor.
Above them the wind of bullets flew for next ten seconds.
When Camshron lifted his head up, Phantom Being wasn’t present there.
He had fled somehow.
Camshron had some sense in him despite of all the madness happening around him. But the case with Bob was different.
He had a rifle in his hand which he intended to make full use of.
Bob, on floor by his chest, began shooting towards SWAT officers.
The firing worsened the condition.
Another wave of bullets passed above them.
This time, bullets were inches near from hitting them.
Camshron took a risk and threw his gun at Bob's head.
It hit him on back of his head and Bob lost grip over the rifle.
Camshron leaped, grappled Bob from behind and rolled him over like a judo athlete.
He applied the same choke-hold on Bob which Phantom Being had put on him.
Choking him, he made Bob stand.
"This will all be over when I take you downstairs." Camshron whispered in his ear.
Bob groaned.
While they were heading towards the stairs, red dots began appearing on their bodies.
Camshron froze.
"DON'T FIRE AT THE SWAT. WE HAVE OUR SHOOTERS AIMING AT YOU." The voice echoed from megaphone, "SURRENDER."
Camshron looked at Bob, who also happened to be squinting at Camshron.
Despite of the silent agreement, Camshron refused to leave the hold of his neck.
"You're cornered." Camshron said.
There was a bang outside.
Mushroom cloud of fire and smoke broke inside the room through the open window.

Both of them got thrown back by the wave of the explosion.
None of them noticed them getting through the locked the door.
Sense came into Camshron when he saw himself in the attic, underneath the staircase.
They had been thrown all the way to there from the storey above.
"Camshron's car exploded!" Camshron could hear despite of ringing ears.
Bob's ears were bleeding.
The Russian mobs had bombs planted in their cars. Camshron realized.
They will shoot both of us when they come inside. Nathan Camshron thought while getting up.
Seconds later, the door slammed on the floor.
A figure of someone holding a rifle appeared through smoke and flames.
When the flames settled a bit then the man's face got visible through his visor.
Les.
He had his rifle pointed straight at Camshron.
Camshron noticed something.
Les' hands were shaking and he was sweating.
"You have to make a difficult choice, Les." Mumbled Camshron.
Les' expressions changed.
They became violent.
Les fixed his gun at him.
He fired.
The bullet went on to hit Bob's shoulder and the man fell along with the gun which he had snatched from Camshron, after the fall.
"Stop!" Camshron commanded to the SWAT officers who came inside the house after him.
The agents paused after seeing the man with his face covered by bandages.
Les helped Camshron walk while the officers seized Bob, who was yelling in anguish.
Camshron came out of the house first.
Then Bob was taken out.
Mr. Fernsby watched the man with his face wrapped in bandages.
"So he is the one you were talking about?" whispered Mr. Fernsby.

I will explain world-building in the best way that I can, but it's not necessarily explainable by physics.

When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
