Trunks and Vegeta stand across each other both panting

Trunks:damn I wasn't expecting him to catch up so quickly but I guess it makes sense

Vegeta charges at trunks who dodges the punch as Vegeta's gloved hand passes trunks face a cut appears on trunks cheek as trunks narrows his eyes at vegeta and knees him in the stomach and then uppercuts him vegeta does a flip in the air and sends a blast at trunks who returns it in kind as the two beams clash neither vegeta or trunks can gain the upper hand and just as the two put more power into their blasts the beams explode sending vegeta and trunks flying back once the smoke clears vegeta charges at trunks sending his fist straight at trunks face but trunks catches it trunks then kicks upward kicking vegeta in the jaw but unexpected a blast is in vegetas other hand and as he's going up he unleashes it and it hits trunks point blank sending flying back both manage to land with their feet touching the ground as they both look at each other

Trunks:we've been going at it for Almost a month

Vegeta:what's your point

Trunks:my point is I think we should separate and heal then train for a bit on our own then come back and train together before we need to leave

Vegeta:tch fine

Shiki:does he actually want to train with his son from the future

Hyōrinmaru:aww he does

Trunks:see ya

Trunks takes off flying to get far away so he can work on something without Vegeta around and after almost a hour of flying he's far enough away to train in peace

Shiki:ok now spill

Hyōrinmaru:what are you doing

Trunks:well... Unless that movie is going to be considered canon... Dragon fist

Goku:that we should solve both timelines dragon ball issues I'm going to go to namek and get us a new guardian then I'll come back and we can go to your future and get you a new guardian

Piccolo:two issues shenron can't bring people back from the dead who have been dead for more then one year so your have to ask your new guardian to fix that

Trunks:ok and what's issue number two

Piccolo raises his hand at trunks as Vegeta Narrows his eyes before piccolo uses his clothes beam on trunks

Piccolo:issue two no longer exists

Kami:how nice of you fixing his clothes

Piccolo:shut up

Trunks:thanks piccolo

Hyōrinmaru:now wasn't that nice of him

Goku:be back in a bit

Goku disappears

Vegeta:boy

Trunks:yeah

Vegeta:... I'm going you can stay here if you wish

Vegeta takes off leaving trunks with piccolo and Mr popo

Trunks:oh um... I don't really hate him he's just really Prideful you know

Goku:ok trunks let's go

Trunks takes his time machine out and soon both trunks and Goku are heading to the future
