《Suffocate My love》Chapter 69

The light entering the room was very strong , he felt like he was staring right at the sun. It burned so much and it manifested like his optic nerves were being crucified.
He struggled elevating and bending his arm to block the light source but that partial muscle action was no different from if he ripped off his tendons. It is like he had used a flaming axe to slice off every single ligament and the resulting anguish scotched like he was dipping in molten lava . This searing pain invaded his body and presented its similar to the effect sleeping of pile of razor sharp blades and tossing over them multiple times
He grimaced at the utmost degree of misery that germinated from just his limb thanks to which he was not skeptical of the possibility of his skull bursting open for objectifying it to process this kind of sufferance.
He brought his arm back down on and and he shifted his face to the other side so that he opposes the light of the sun.
'What?', The instant his head turned , his eyes scanned the room . he could not understand if what he was seeing was real or possible
HOW DID HE GET HERE?
He rotated to looked back to the initial side and that is when he saw that his window was not locked but it was closed.
Is it feasible that someone brought him here then laid him on the bed ?
He stared to the stool underneath the window and it seemed very familiar.
It was his stool .He was in his room.
Who had carried him here? Who had seen the wounds on his body and wh... Why can't he feel the bed? Has he gone numb or is this just another dream like the one he had of Adrian ?
Herim tapped to the side by himself and all he touched was air . The inability to distinctively sense something means one of two things, either it's a dream or he was floating.
He tried to look at his hands but he could not move head comfortably so he opted to wiggle his fingers , which he definitely felt .so he was awake so that means he is without a spec of doubt, suspended in the air
This may all be tribute to that when he was unconscious , he might actually have floated to his room. His subconscious brain could potentially have gone into autonomy mode as it acted on behalf of the alert or conscious , communicating with his aerospacial ability , meridians and powers thus supporting him all the way here.
He exhaled as he started to consider the possibilities and imagine remarks of anyone who saw him flying like a creepy stalker. But as he did that he forgot that he had to be aware of his surrounding in order to remain floating. Meaning that his subconscious brain handed over that duty to his conscious which was still lazing off , thus he plummeted to the ground
Before long, he violently banged on the bed.
He gritted his teeth in attempt not to scream but at the same time he growled. His wince was genuinely deep , superbly rich , vocal and surrealistically defined that even he was stunned by the propagation capacity of his voice box. He awaited a particular sensation that would clarify his confusion and that was the moving of his spinal cord , particularly the last portion of it . And as expected ,he detected lower body elevation in the air , sending a small shock through to his legs. The conclusion of this is, he had transformed into a wolf.

This makes him now more open to other possibilities. His vision that he thought was very limited by virtue of his injuries may not be that way furthermore the room may not be that bright simply because his innate night-vision in wolf-mode magnifies all small hints of light so when it's daytime like this, the luminism is extremely zoomed, making it seem like he was feeding broken glass into his optic nerves.
Herim waved his tail in the air several times ,trying to wake himself up but it was tormentful to move that much. For some reason the swirling of his rear end was like he was stirring his stomach , instructing an overbearing amount of stomach acid and inducing the urge to puke
He coughed then he dripped and sprayed blood on the white bed cover, that already had some drops of blood that trickled from him hovering overhead . Such regurgitation of blood just validates the intelligent assumption that he had a lot of internal wounding, which was otherwise bred to existence by a certain someone who hit him with hands brimming with Qi. Unarguably some of his meridians must be wounded and disturbed resulting in affecting neighboring veins and capillaries.
There is no wonder his brain turned him into a wolf. His ' human' body endured unhealthy levels of agony therefore his nature reverted him to the form that he was born as , not that the scourging feels better when he is a dog. Needless to say that the instant he changes back to human, it is certainly going to be like he is skinned alive. But then again he can't really stay like this when there is a possibility of open wound on his skin that may get infected if he does not tend to them.
Herim pulled his head . His predator eyes made it seem like he looked through a cloud since everything was too bright.
Anyway because he was laying on the side , if he wants to get up he has to fold his legs under his body to use them to pivot upwards . And that was what he did .
He sucked in the chill, clean air and he began the painful journey. His muscles were worn out and unspeakably tattered but they were a little bit functional. Even if they felt like he had them massaged with a boulder , he had to tolerate the affliction to be able to move.
He pulled in his forelegs then folded them underneath himself . He didn't bother with his hind and just decided to work his way up with just those two. He used all the power in his body but minimized all the energy that he implanted on his muscles therefore he slowly trembled as he strove to depart the bed .
He attempted to arise but his bones were to weak and his legs were awfully painful as he supported his weight. Thanks to this , he toppled back down , however not long after he tried once again. This time he managed maintain on those two legs , immediately then he forced his hind legs to under himself and he tented to the sky. Upon reaching that state , he dared to challenge his barriers and he dragged his body to the side of the bed.
Just a few small steps from the edge of the bed , his stamina faded out and thus gravity won against him hence he collapsed but unfortunately his big body couldn't hang on the ledge and sent him off the bed, landing on the cold hard floor with his entire left side, head included.

He winced and nearly cried but he didn't submit to the pain and he immediately got off the floor by promptly repeating the motions on the bed . Unfirm as he was , he fought hock and crow all the way to the chest of drawers.
His journey was far from smooth , stable and effortless because he shook and shuddered like a leaf for every muscle that he used to travel to the furniture. He could not see it though he felt it but his fur coat had noticeable wounds on his back and his fall just now printed some blood to the floor and their artwork was aided by the tiny drops that were dripping from his mouth then proceeded to make a trail behind him as he strewed himself
Within five long and excruciating minutes, he reached the chest, panting and sweating.
He half-stared at the drawer , trembling and appearing like he was drying out and losing integrity of his life . His demoralization was due to that he knew that his paws would not able to open the drawers to get the chemical. So he had to change back to human and that is a worse fate than attempting to be standing like this in a body that looks and feels like a bucket of deranged termites.
He went to the bed and used his mouth to grab the bed cover. He had no strength and he was hissing like he was grating charcoal. Thankfully the cover was loosely laid on the bed nonetheless it was still a task for him even slightly yank it off. That being said , he paid no heed to his condition and he pitifully jumped his fore legs on the bed and used his paws to grip the cover. Simultaneously he moved backwards .
Fours steps later his hind legs that he supported his mass on, gave up once again and he slumped backwards on the floor. Instead of crying from the pain he bit the cover and went underneath it multiple times in attempt to cover himself.
His snot glistened with sweat and his eyes were decorated in red from this much strain and torture. Nonetheless he breathed twice and on the third time, he bit harder on the cover , pinched his eyes tightly and he changed back to human
The pain he felt was applaudably humongous. It felt like he was hauling open his wounds with a thunder bolts. And after that he felt like he was clawing with nails inside each and everyone one of them..
He had to transition slowly but the fact that he was gradually opening his wounds was like he was trapping scorpions inside and they were bitting and piecing his bare flesh like fruit.
He persisted to bite the pillow so vigorously that he began to taste the threads and even it he tried not to scream , his groans were very audible and very ambiguous. They sounded like he was being cooked alive and throttled by a thorned tree. His entire human-torso came into form first and was deep-pink , additionally a significant sample of veins on his neck protruded and bulged so much like the pain he was experiencing was inverting his skin inside out .
this was the longest it took for him to transform one part of his body as he pampered the wounds since him transformation involved pulling the hairs of his animal-coat inwards . The million little projections reversed back into his epithelial tissue and felt like uniform small electric shocks driving into his body. The vividness of the hair reversal was so voluminous he could literally envision every single motion.
After the full formation of torso, he was awarded the ability to move his hands from the side of his body and he used them to pivot himself on the ground. At the same time the rest of his human body formed . With the absence of hair, the strokes on his back were more defined that his beauty spots.they looked like they were tattooed on . But they had no synchrony and were haphazard as much as their colours. Some were darker, other more bruised but majority were swollen and had purple edges with the rest of his skin no different from the heart of a cherry.
Despite the lethal level of pain on his back , the cranial gnawing that was stampeding through hid meninges and all relevant nerves convinced him of a potential voyage to the afterlife . One word is best to describe the pattern of the agony and that is a Tsunami.
Thanks to the supernaturally monstrosity of aching that seemed to be blending his head , he clutched onto it and assumed fetal position while he laid down. The white blanket that he wrapped onto himself had wolf-blood and now it was covered with blood from his open wounds as well as sweat from the most painful experience he had ever felt.
His head continued to thump and twang like he was running on it and for a second he swears that he must having being bumping on things when he floated. But that was not true . It's all thanks to his damaged meridians that he is having a distress like this . Back pain and ache can and will lead to headaches or even migraines and right now he is experiencing such a calamity , which unfortunately means that until he can relieve the harrowing he won't be able to grow hair on his head. Just like his wolf body which had regions of patches especially wherever he was aching, the same will be true for his head.
He sought to massage the pain but his arms still hurt and the more pressure he put the more it hurt.
He turned over and he faced to the other side and as he aimed to breathe, his eardrum started to tin loudly and the sharp pain was piercing and seemed to target the exact place that he was crying of the persecution
He cradled even more and tried his best not sleep supine that will disturb the wounds on his body . Realizing that he was about to have another unbearable and unsizeable experience, he summoned an air bubble and circled it around his head..
Twenty seconds later, he reeled himself as well as the bloody blanket and he attempted to climb onto his bed but midway he lost momentum and he slid downwards and onto the floor again
The air bubble cushioned his fall so he laid on his stomach between the cover and he slowly closed his eyes as the bubble seemed to soothe him and calm down the erratic disorder he is feeling
' let me die .', he thought to himself and slowly blinked until he fell asleep decorated and cuddled by the mess of his own blood.

Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
