《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 158

"I would need you to elaborate further to get the best result possible," Heaven replied to Axel.
"When sending messages, you can change your voice so they hear you differently, right?" He asked.
"Yes, I can change my voice at will. Let me know the specifics, and I will reproduce it as close to that as possible." Heaven said.
"Perfect. Then show me the information of all the cult leaders in the world."
After saying those words, a few dozens of screens appeared before him. Each of them was filled with information about a different person.
"Ok. Now we choose a few of these, the stronger and those with bigger groups, and we contact them. You are going to change your voice so they don't realize it is you, and you are going to tell them you are a powerful demon or cosmic entity from which the corruption originated." Axel explained." That way, we can control them directly to do as we want while keeping them against the other factions. And with our new control over them, we can unite the various groups or at least make them cooperate, making them a real threat to the other factions and not a mild annoyance."
Looking around the light screens, Axel discarded around half of the cultivators, as they were closer to corrupted farmers than real cultists because of their low cultivation and few followers.
Little by little, he reduced the number of candidates until there were less than twenty left.
"Ok, we can start working with these," Axel said.
"Should I contact them immediately?" Heaven asked.
"Let's not rush things more than necessary. It would be weird if we contacted them randomly. I think the best moment to do it would be when they are just finishing one of their rituals." He said. "Let's keep an eye on them, and we will send them messages as soon as they do something that would be worthy of a superior entity contacting them."

After that, they began to monitor each of those cultists until any of them did something "worthy". They didn't need to wait much longer, as a valid candidate appeared a few hours later.
On Orixe, on the border of the Guburg's territory, existed a mountain range that extended for kilometers and worked as the frontier with the Yuoko territory.
If one were to search in the valley between two mountains, they would find what looked like a small cave, but after advancing for a few meters, it would become a large cavern.
Inside it, a group of purple-robed figures arranged five people into a circle drawn on the ground. Those five people were handcuffed to each other and had expressions of fear.
One of the robbed figures, seeing their expression, couldn't help but laugh loudly.
"Don't put those faces on. You are about to become part of something great. The foundation of my cultivation, to be more precise." The man said.
The man was around fifty years old. He was bald and had a purple scar that crossed his whole face from the chin to the forehead while cutting his left eye. Because of the scar's color, it was clear that it hadn't been a regular wound but one caused by corruption instead.
As soon as he said those words, the other robbed figures stabbed with daggers at the prisoners.
They did it a single time, making them lose blood slowly while they kept them inside of the circle. As the blood touched the ground, it flowed at an abnormal speed as it formed an eight-point in the ground, which shone with purple light soon after.
The shine intensified each time one fainted because of the blood loss, and soon after, dense strands of corruption began to leave the circle.

Without losing a second, the man with the scar began to cultivate as he absorbed the corruption while a grim smile appeared on his face.
But suddenly, the corruption stopped coming out, which made him angry.
"What the hell are you doing? You aren't even capable of doing a ritual so simple? You are going to be the fucking next to become sacrificed if you don't..." he began to shout as a shadow figure appeared from the circle.
As soon as the figure appeared, a heavy aura covered the whole cavern, causing the weaker members of the cult to faint.
"You, insects." a heavy voice said.
After hearing two words, the cult leader felt that even his soul was shaking with fear. Without being able to resist, he kneeled to the ground to pay respect to such a powerful existence.
"You've been toying with powers you don't even understand. If I were to use even a fraction of my power, this whole world would become nothing but dust."
Hearing those words, the cultist realized that the shadow had appeared because of their practices, which made them curse the moment they became cultists.
"But don't you worry, I'm a pious patron even with insects such as you, so you are not losing your lives for now." the voice said before they heard a diabolic laugh.
"Is there anything we could do for you?" the cult leader said while his legs trembled.
"In fact, there is. And if you do it correctly, you may even receive a tiny fraction of my powers." The voice said, igniting the greed inside the cultists' hearts.
Situations like this began to happen all around Axel's world, slowly bringing the cultist groups under his control.

Mage Among Superheroes
Turlough is a mage. He also happens to be an orc, generally lauded as being less intelligent than humans. He was unfortunately born with the Curse of the Barbarian, meaning that he can’t level up except through combat- which greatly hinders his ability to show he can be a proper mage. In a world with necromancers, dragons, invading armies, and all sorts of other monsters he would still be able to advance quickly, but unfortuantely… that world is not his world. An unprecedented peace reigns across the land, and in the last several decades there’s been little use for people capable of fighting- and thus little reason for people to fight him. So when he sees a portal in his master’s study he takes it, hoping to find a horde of demons or something equally foolish to combat at low level. But instead he ends up in a strange city full of skyscrapers and people running around in colorful outfits. Superheroes- and of course supervillains as well. What dangers and opportunities could await him in such a strange and unfamiliar world? Only time will tell. Inspired by many things in the superhero genre, and Super Minion specifically- though while the setting will share some standard elements, it is an original setting that will hopefully be as engaging as many of the other universes. Schedule: One chapter each Monday/Thursday, approx. 2000 words.
