Colten had driven me back home after his mom went to lay down, we took a shower at his place so he could hang out with Jackson for a while. Brittni was here also which wasn't surprising, so she's currently in the room as I towel wrap my wet hair.

"So," she yawns, flipping through pages of a magazine while her feet swing in the air. "What did you and Colten do last night?"

I roll my eyes, knowing full well she knew what happened last night. She just likes hearing me say it, thinks I'm too innocent.

"Be quiet," I slap her ass making a squeal escape her lips while I laugh. "You know full well what went down last night."

"True," she nods, rolling over so she's sitting up next to me. "What went down exactly? Did he take you from behind? Oh no!"

"What?" I blush as she gets that look in her eyes.

"You totally rode his saddle," she gapes. My face obviously is a tomato by now.

"How'd you-"

"Trust me, babe," she pats my thigh. "I can tell when shit like that takes place."

"Oh," I look away.

"Want to guess what Jackson and I did last night?" She asks and I nearly throw up.

"Um, no," I shake my head with disgust.

"Oh come on," she laughs. "I'm going to tell you anyway."

"No-"

"First he ate out my pu-"

"La la la la!" I scream, plugging my ears as she laughs. When I think she's done, I unplug them.

"Then he took me from behind." This time I roll off the bed and gag like a dog on to the ground while Brittni rolls her eyes at me. "This wouldn't be so weird if you would tell me exactly what happened last night."

"I already did." I roll over on to my back.

"No," she groans. "I guessed. You need to be more open with your sexual actions."

"You want me to he more open with my sexual actions?" I nod and her eyes light up with excitement. "I rode him. That's all. There was no foreplay. None of that. I just bounced on his dïck until we both came."

I want to cover my mouth right after I said that, but by the way Brittni stares at me with a shocked expression makes me feel smug. She totally thought I wouldn't tell her. Well, jokes on her.

"Wow," she stares wide eyed. I smirk. "So you usually perform foreplay?"

I groan.

"What?" She asks, stumped.

"If I answer, can we stop talking about this topic?"

She nods excitedly, so I take a deep breath and prepare myself for Brittni's over dramatics.

"Then, yes, we usually do." I cover my ears again when she lets out an ear piercing scream. I knew it.

You should know by now that if someone screams, the boys are going to come investigate. So, next thing we know, there's thumping up the stairs until Jackson and Colten burst through the door in alarm.

"What happened?" Jackson asks, extremely panicked.

"NIKKI RODE-"

I lunge across the bed and cover her face with a pillow, now all that can be heard is muffled screams.

"Nikki fell," I fill in and they seem to relax.

"Why does she always have to scream?" Jackson mumbles as he walks away.

"Is she like that when you fuck - ow!" Colten yelps.

"I'm going to kill you," I remove the pillow to see her laughing. Her face is red while tears stream out of her eyes. "Are you high?"

"You - you tried suffocating m - me!" She starts cracking up all over again. I'm pretty sure she's on something right now.

"It smells so good in here, misses M," Brittni's moans, rubbing her stomach.

"Thank you, sweetie," she presses a kiss to my best friends cheek. "I'm so glad you could make it."

"And miss your to-die-for food?" Brittni looks appealed. "Heck to the no."

Karen laughs. "Still the same, aren't you?"

"Never going to change, misses M," Brittni smiles cheekily. I laugh at them and go to hug Karen now. She presses a kiss to my cheek as well.

"Where's Jackson?" She asks, looking around for my older brother.

"Oh, Coltens showing him something with his car right now," I wave her off. "They'll be in in a minute."

"If they're anything like their fathers, they won't he in for a while," she rolls her eyes with a smile. "So how did it go when Jackson found out about you and Colten?"

I cringe. "Not good."

"That's too bad," she frowns, stirring the sauce in her pot. "I always knew Jack - Brittni get your hands away from the cookies!"

I slowly turn to see Brittni with wide eyes, her hand outstretched towards the cookie.

"B-but," she opens and closes her mouth in a pout. Some things definitely will never change.

"No," Karen sternly says and Brittni grumbles under her breath before folding her arms over her chest. "I knew I shouldn't have brought those out yet."

I laugh and agree. You can never trust us kids with misses Mathews amazing baked goods. I remember when we were young and she would always make chocolate chip cookies. They had to be the best in the world. Every single day, a new batch would he made, and every day, they would be gobbled up by us four.

"Anyway," she blows out a breath. "I always knew that Jackson had a hunch with how Colten felt about you. I thought maybe that when the time came it wouldn't be such a surprise and he wouldn't get so mad."

"Yeah," I sigh. "I wish he didn't. It made Colten and I's relationship just that much more complicated."

She nods. "I guess he just had to realize that you forgave him for being with Brittni and he should give you the same opportunity."

"Right," I agree. The front door opens, signaling the arrival of the two oldest boys, where they shove and push each other while laughing. Colten pushes Jackson slightly harder making him run into the wall and me snort.

"Boys!" Karen shouts exasperated. "Could you, maybe, not ruin my house?"

"Sorry," they mumble and kiss Karen on the cheek.

"Is the food almost done?" My boyfriend asks. We all turn to him with shocked looks that he would ask. We would always get in trouble for asking, Karen didn't like to be rushed.

So when she turns to her son with a cold stare I know shits about to hit the fan. "What did I tell you about asking me when the food is done?"

"Sorry," he mumbles and she hits him with a towel making all of us laugh except for him. "I said I'm sorry!"

"I know," she smiles sweetly.

"Nut," Colten mumbles quietly before taking a spot by my side, his arms wrapped around my waist from behind where he places his chin atop my head.

"So Colten," Karen starts up. "Nikki told me you asked her to prom."

"Yeah," he blushes. "I did."

"Would you mind if I went along with you to pick up a suit?" She asks hopeful. I really hope he says yes.

"Of course, mom." I smile at this.

"Now, Jackson," she gives him a pointed look. "Why haven't you asked Brittni yet?"

"Um," he scratches the back of his neck nervously.

"Um isn't an answer, sweetie," she shakes her head.

"Well, I was planning on it," he clears his throat. This seems to be a good answer for Karen as she smiles.

"Good." All grins and no glares. For now. "Now help me set the table, gentlemen."

We all end up helping to set the table for the big meal we are going to have. Brittni and I set out the pots and dishes of amazing smelling food while the guys set out the plates and silverware.

I have to admit, it's quite weird having such a huge gathering like this with homemade food. I do make dinners and stuff sometimes, but this seems more like a family than just Jackson and I. Something I missed a lot out on when I was growing up.

When we sit down, before eating, we all join hands and say grace. Now this, this is something I haven't done for years. A decade probably. I had gotten my first communion when I was a little girl and we used to go to church every Sunday before my parents picked up more shift. It was an extreme loss.

Most kids never liked going to church, but for some reason, I did. I love the family aspect of it. I you to talk to so many amazing people that all seemed more like family than friends. I haven't thought about those days in a while, but since we're saying grace, it brought back memories.

I remember when Jackson and I were kids, and it's was Sunday, we would sit quietly in church with Colten and his parents beside us. We knew that if we talked or goofed around, we'd get punished, so we sat quietly and listened. I had almost memorized every song from the chore of our church, but we stopped going before it could be official.

After the mass was over, all the kids would run around outside while the adults sat in the sun and talk. The teenagers would also talk against the brick outer builder in their floral dresses and dress suits. We'd play tag and hide and seek, all the other kids being really nice. The only thing that sucked was the fact that I was really the only girl that age. We had a lot of female teenagers and babies, but never kids.

"Let's dig in!" Misses Mathews claps and we all take a spoonful of everything. Chatter is spelled through the table, all of us reminiscing and laughing at everything.

"Oh my god," Jackson laughs. "Remember when we were palming in the park in the sand box? And Brittni fell and got a ton of sand in her mouth!"

We all start laughing, even Brittni whose been scared of the sand every since. I don't blame her, I bet she had little grains stuck between her teeth for weeks.

"That was horrible," she laughs and then glares at Jackson. "And if was your fault, asshole."

"How?" He smirks.

"You pushed me," she states at him pointedly.

"I did not," he chuckles. "I tripped you. Big difference."

"Okay," Karen laughs. "Let's just say Jackson is the suspect for pushing Brittni into the sand."

I giggle, making Colten look at me with a bright smile.

"So, Jackson," Karen starts. "I heard you you into the University of Washington?"

"Yeah," he grins.

"That's really good," she grins. "I'm so proud of all of you."

We thank her, and Brittni and I laugh when we realize we're not the ones leaving.

"Especially Colten for getting into Ber-"

"Mom," he clenches his jaw, their eyes lock and she seems to get the hint.

"You haven't told her?" She states at him in shock.

"Now is not the time," he growls.

"What are you talking about?" I question, feeling my nerves spike again.

"We'll talk about it later," he sighs, looking tense as he stares down at his food.

What is going on? Everyone has seemed to go silent.
