《Camille Lupin the Unicorn》Have a Safe Journey Home

Camille's POV
Harry has made a complete recovery along with the other two. But he stayed in the hospital wing for a few days. He got lots of sweets from admirers though. Anyway tonight is the last night of the year and the house cup needs awarding. Professor Dumbledore stands to address the school. "Another year gone" he says cheerfully. "And I must trouble you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were. . . you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts" he says and some of us chuckle.
"Now, as I understand it, the house cup here needs awarding, and the points stand thus: In fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Ravenclaw has four hundred and twenty-six and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy-two" Dumbledore announces.
A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Slytherin table. I stand to grab everyone's attention. "Yes, Yes, well done, Slytherin" I say and they quiet down looking up at me. "Now Professor Dumbledore was not finish, recent events must be taken into account" I tell the students.
"Ahem" Dumbledore says grabbing their attention as I sat back down. "I have a few last-minute points to dish out. Let me see. Yes, first -- to Mr. Ronald Weasley" he states. Ron goes purple in the face from blushing so hard. "For the best-played game of chess Hogwarts has seen in many years, I award Gryffindor house fifty points" he announces.
Gryffindor cheers nearly raised the bewitched ceiling; the stars overhead seemed to quiver. Percy could be heard telling the other prefects, "My brother, you know! My youngest brother! Got past McGonagall's giant chess set!" he shouts. I smile as Dumbledore gets their attention again.

"Second -- to Miss Hermione Granger. . . for the use of cool logic in the face of fire, I award Gryffindor house fifty points" Dumbledore announces. As Hermione buries her face into her arms, no doubt crying tears of joy. "Third -- to Mr. Harry Potter" he says and the room goes deathly silent. "For pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house sixty points" he states.
The din was deafening. Those who could add up while yelling themselves hoarse knew that Gryffindor now tied with Slytherin. Dumbledore raised his hand as I stand up again. The room gradually fell silent. "There are all kinds of courage" I tell the students. "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends" I explain.
"I therefore award ten points to Mr. Neville Longbottom" Dumbledore announces. Someone standing outside the Great Hall might well have thought some sort of explosion had taken place. So loud was the noise that erupted from the Gryffindor table. Harry, Ron, and Hermione stood up to yell and cheer as Neville. Who is white with shock, disappeared under a pile of people hugging him. He had never won so much as a point for Gryffindor before.
"Which means" I say over the crowd. As even Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were celebrating Slytherin's defeat. "We need a little change of decoration" I tell them and wave my wand. In an instant, the green hangings became scarlet and the silver became gold; the huge Slytherin serpent vanished and a towering Gryffindor lion took its place. Snape was shaking Professor McGonagall's hand, with a horrible, forced smile. She is given the house cup by Dumbledore and she smiles broadly.
(Next day)
Today the students are going home and I've decided to do Hagrid a favor. He made an album for Harry out of old photos of his parents and himself. I give him copies of photos I had. I go to the station to see Harry about to board the train. Harry spots me and comes over.

"I wanted to thank you for saving me that night" he tells me.
"No need Harry" I tell him smiling.
"You look different now" he says confused.
"You saw my true face that night, but that is not why I am here" I tell him. I hand him the album. "Hagrid made this for you, a collection of photos of your parents and you. He would of given it to you personally, but he had urgent business in the forest" I explain. Hagrid had found a mate for Aragog his Acromantula.
"Tell him thank you" he says smiling at the picture of him with his parents as a toddler.
"You had better go or you'll miss the train" I tell him smiling.
"Right, thanks again for saving my friends and I" he tells me. He hugs me and I hug him back. Before nudging him towards the train. Harry walks away, back to the train door where Hermione and Ron are waiting. The train whistles and they climb aboard. As the train starts to leave and they wave to me. I wave back smiling. "Have a safe journey home!" I shout to them. They smile nodding their heads. The train disappears around the bend and I return to the school to finish packing for home.

The road ahead was looking great! That's when a little scene occurred between Jacob's girlfriend and one of his male classmates. Jacob's mood was a little lower than dirt from thereon. His motivation to pursue his studies, gone. This event caused Jacob to fall into the death grip that is a job in retail. One day, while Jacob was mopping the cold floors of the grocery store he worked in, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him, notifying him that the world was going through a change. Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
