《Camille Lupin the Unicorn》Summer Time

Camille's POV
"This is amazing" I say relaxing in the lounge chair by the pool. Within the first week of Summer James invited everyone to his house to use his pool. The boys were all in the water while I was sun bathing drinking a glass of juice. Remus had put sunscreen on my back for me earlier, but Sirius had tried to do it. We left Axel at home as we were only staying for the afternoon and would be back at dinner time.
"I agree" Remus says as he sits beside me opening a book as he began to read. We had all grown since the summer started, all a little taller. My breasts have started to grow and I had cut my hair shorter. So we'll all need new robes for the coming school year. Remus and I had finished our summer homework, so are now just enjoying the summer.
This year we are all starting new subjects and I am taking the most. But I have sorted all out with Professor McGonagall who was organizing things so that I can do all the subjects I'd chosen. She told me not to worry about it and she'd sort it out, so I've just been relaxing. Remus and I based all our subjects last year & got better grades then our first year. Peter also did better as we all helped him study for the exams.
I was pulled from my thoughts by someone throwing me over their shoulder. "Put me down Black!" I screech as he heads towards the water. "Don't you dare Black!" I shout trying not to cry. Remus notices whats happening and stands up and goes to shout. But it was to late Sirius threw me into the deep end of the pool.

Remus' POV
"Sirius you idiot!" I shout before diving into the pool when Camille didn't come up. I grab her waist and pull her to the surface before swimming over to the steps. I pick her up bridal style and carry her out of the pool as she coughs.
"What's going on out here?" Euphemia asks coming out of the house. "Camille are you ok dear?" she asks as I place Camille down keeping her steady. The others come over except for Sirius who looks horrified at what he'd done.
"I'm fine, but I want to go home" Camille says in a hoarse voice.
"Of course, but first lets dry you off" Euphemia states and puts her wand at Camille. Instantly her hair and clothes dried as she stopped shivering. Suddenly she looked furious and marched over to Sirius and slapped him.
"How dare you, when someone says not to do something! They mean no, I can't swim you idiot and I nearly drained! You obviously don't care for me at all as you claimed last year. I don't what to speak to you again, so leave me alone!" she tells him. Before grabbing her stuff and running inside.
"I didn't know she couldn't swim, I just wanted to have some fine" Sirius says quietly.
"We know mate" James says placing a hand on Sirius' shoulder.
"I know my sister, she doesn't hold grudges long. She is just in shock of what happen, she'll calm down by the time school starts. Just give her time and space" I tell him before turning to Euphemia. "Thank you for having us Euphemia" I say smiling.
"You and Camille are always welcome, see you later" she says smiling. I go inside to see Camille speaking to Fleamont by the fire place.

"Just take sometime to calm down and think things over. Before you do something you regret" he tells her. Camille and I then use the fireplace to go home.
"Sirius is really sorry about what happened you know" I tell her quietly.
"I know, I was just so scared" she says and I give her a hug. "Thank you for saving me Remus, you're always there when I need you" she tells me smiling gently.
"I'll always protect you Cami and so will the others" I assure her. "You know we never did have that tie breaker game of chess" I states. She agrees and we set up our normal chess board as we don't have wizard's chess. Camille wins as our mum comes home and looks shocked to see us home so early.
Camille left to go shower as I explain what happened to mum. She said she'd make Camille's favourite for dinner to cheer her up. Dad came home at dinner time and we all sat at the dinner table together to eat. Once we finished dinner mum took out some left over cake for dessert. Then we watched Charlotte's Web together before Camille called it an early night.

That is what an adventurer does.” ....... **** Thank you for reading, and if you like the story, please rate and review. Isa and I would both like to level up! This story uses the 5th Edition Open Gaming License for game mechanics. I roll dice for combat outcomes and all skill checks.... which is sometimes surprising! The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.

Read on as he meets many creatures, talks back to doting Gods, and slays countless other beasts on his way to reach his destiny! Written by a brand new author, this is a mainly light-hearted adventure story. It’s really not following one distinct genre, instead incorporating fantasy, game worlds, reincarnation, Xia-Xia, and potentially some romance ( ; - D) into a story. Release schedule of about 2-3 chapters a week. Comments and questions are always welcome!
