Remus' POV
"So where are we going?" Camille asks our parents as Mum drives us somewhere.
"To London Zoo, we have the whole day planed out" Dad tells her.
"That's why we told you to leave Axel home" mum adds. "Of course we can't do everything, but I made a plan to do things I thought you'd both enjoy" she states.
"What's first on the plan?" I ask.
"Exploring the zoo first, then animal show while we eat lunch at twelve" Dad answers. "We also going to see meerkats, lemurs, spiders and giraffes, before the gift shop" he finishes. Camille was bouncing in her seat, she loves animals.
"Now no running off Camille" Mum tells her as we pull into the parking lot.
"Yes mummy" Camille tells her and we get out of the car. Dad paid for our tickets before we enter the zoo. "Can we see penguins first?" she asks mum, who nods her head. Camille loves seeing animals swim almost as she loves swimming herself.
"Where do you want to go Remus?" mum asks me while Camille watches the penguins talking to dad.
"Lions" I tell her as Dad walks over with Camille.
"We going to see the lions, then get some lunch before going to the animal show" Mum tells them. When we reached the lion enclosure we saw a two cubs that look about four months old. There are also three lioness and two adult male lions. At ten to twelve we got some lunch and sat on the grass as the animal show starts.
Camille got called forward to be allowed to pat a cheetah and feed a bird. The birds were amazing as they flew over our heads from porch to porch. With each animal brought out the keepers answered the audiences questions. We then went back to exploring the zoo going to the aquarium before going to the meerkat.

They were getting feed and the keeper was telling us some facts about them. We left a little early to be able to reach the lemur talk in time. There are only seven lemurs as the keeper gives them some fruit. She explains their diet and introduces each lemur before answering some questions.
Afterwards we went to see the Komodo dragons until it was time for the spider talk. Both Camille and I got to hold a tarantula each. They had some other spiders as well each with their own enclosure. On the way to the giraffes we saw the otters and gorilla family. The grey back is huge.
Once we reached the giraffes Mum was allowed to feed one as the keeper introduce them. He also told us how one of the giraffes is pregnant. How it was going to be her second baby and that last time she had a boy. That had been sent to Adelaide zoo for their breeding program.
We then went to see the camels and petting zoo before going to the gift shop. Camille and I each choose something to but. I got a book on lions and she got a red panda toy. She named it Shasta as we went back to the car.
On the way home we went to McDonald's for dinner and had ice-cream. Before we went home with Dad driving this time. Camille falls asleep leaning her head on my shoulder. "She's asleep isn't she?" Dad asks.
"Yeah she is" Mum tells him as she smiles at me. When we reached home Dad picked Camille up and carried her to her room. "Go brush your teeth sweety and go to bed" Mum tells me gently. "We'll be there soon" she promises before going to Camille's room. I was already in bed when they entered my room

"How is she?" I ask them.
"She's fine and is sleeping with Axel beside her" Dad assures me. Mum tucks me in kissing my forehead humming gently. "Be sure to keep her out of trouble this year" Dad tells me. "Always know we are proud of you" he adds. They leave and I fall into a peaceful sleep.
