Camille's POV
"You sure you don't want to go to James' house?" I ask Remus as I finish packing my weekend bag for my sleepover at Lily's.
"You know it's a full moon tomorrow night" he reminds me.
"But you'll be back before the moon rises" I tell him.
"It's not worth the risk Cami, have fun at Lily's though" he tells me smiling. "Besides I sent James a letter saying we couldn't go because I grandma is ill" Remus explains. "So we are both excused for this get together" he states.
"True, but you can't avoid for every Remy they are our friends after all" I remind him. "Besides Lily and I had already planed our sleepover at her house. Before James and Sirius sent their letters" I state. "I'm sure James will invite us over again before school starts" I tell Remus.
"True, besides he and Sirius wish to discus pranks for next year" Remus states.
"Is there anything else they talk about? Aside from Quidditch" I ask him. Remus shakes his head chuckling.
"Well Sirius talk about one other thing" Remus tells me smirking. This can't be good as my brother almost never smirks, ever. An less he is about to tease me about something or he knows something I don't know.
"Pray tell dear brother" I say smiling sweetly.
"You he talks about all the time while James talks about Lily" he states.
"You know I don't like him that way Remus" I remind him while hiding my blush with my long light brown wavy hair. We then heard Mum calling me downstairs. "It's time for me to be ok, please take car Remy" I tell Remus hugging him.
"I will Cami now go have fun, no boys" he tells me. Giggling I grab my bag and Axel's cage as I was taking him with me. Remus follows me downstairs where Mum was waiting. Dad was at the Ministry, but would arrive home soon. Then Mum would drive me to Lily's house in Cokeworth.

"Your father sent an owl, he'll be late getting home" Mum tells us. "So we have three choices, one I take you with us Remus, two we leave you here or three I call the Evans saying I'll be late dropping you of Camille" she explains. Just then the phone rang and I went to get it.
"Hello Lupin residents, Camille speaking" I tell whoever is on the other end.
"Hey Camille, it's Lily my mum was wondering if she could pick you up instead of you being dropped off?" she asks.
"We were just discussing that actually, my Dad is running late getting home" I tell her. "Are you sure your mother won't mind?" I ask her.
"Of course not, she'll leave now and be there in forty-five minutes" she tells me.
"Ok thanks Lily see you soon" I say hanging up the phone. "Mum that was Lily and her mum said she'd pick me up" I say walking back into the lounge. "Remus fancy a game of chess?" I ask taking the board out. He nods his head and we start playing while Mum finishes some work she had brought home.
I had just won our second game when Mrs Evans arrived to pick me. "We'll have the tie breaker when I return" I tell Remus. He had won our first game so we were tied after me winning the second game. "Lily" I exclaim and pull her into a hug as she entered the lounge room.
"Hello to you to Camille and nice to see you Remus" Lily says as we pull away. "Are you ok Remus? You look pale" she asks.
"Mum says he has a fever, but that he'll be fine" I tell her. She nods her head believing want I'd said. I grab Axel's cage and Lily grabbed my backpack. "See you tomorrow night Remus" I tell my brother giving him a hug.

"See you soon your little sister and have fun" he tells me. I said goodbye to Mum and greeted Mrs Evans. Before I got into the car with Lily and Mrs Evans said goodbye to my mum. On the drive to Lily's house we count up and she told me about her older muggle sister.
"Thank you for picking me up Mrs Evans" I say as we reached their beautiful house.
"No trouble at all sweety, now Lily will show you to her room where you'll sleep tonight. My husband should return home soon with our second daughter" she tells me. "Dinner will be served in an hour" she calls as Lily leads me upstairs to her room.
"Camille do you want to come with me while I met Severus?" Lily asks. I frown at her in confusion. "He just got back from his mothers family house and it won't be long" she explains.
"Sure Lily" I say smiling and let Axel out of his cage and he climbs onto my shoulder. We then leave the house after telling her mother where we'd be. We soon reached a tree where there was a boy with greasy black hair sitting under it. "Hello Snape" I say politely and then climb onto a low branch.
"Hey Severus, hope you don't mind Camille tagged along" Lily states as she sit beside him. I ignored their conversation until Lily says it was time to return to her house. We got back to see an other car in the driveway. "My father's car" Lily tells me as we enter the house and I see another girl about our age.
"Hello I'm Camille, Lily's friend from school" I tell her smiling politely. "You must be her lovely sister Petunia she never stops talking about at school" I state. "She really loves you" I whisper in the girls ear. Mrs Evans then said dinner was ready and we all ate in the dining room. "Thank you for the lovely food Mrs Evans and it's nice to meet you Mr Evans" I say smiling.
"It's nice to meet you as well Camille" Mr Evans says smiling.
"It was no trouble sweety" Mrs Evans assures me. For the rest of the night Lily and I sang to old songs. Study for school reading our school books from last year.
"You know I think it would have been fun if Petunia attended Hogwarts with us, I feel sorry that she feels left out" I say as we laid down on her bed listening to music. "I am surprised she does not get along with Snape" I add casually.
"They've never liked each other and Severus says she is jealous as she can't do magic" Lily explains. "How's you brother?" she asks.
"He is well, though he was feeling under the weather today. I hope he is better soon as James want's us to go to his house" I explain.
"James Potter?" Lily asks.
"Am I friends with any other James'?" I ask and she shakes her head. "You know Remus said the weirdest thing earlier" I tell her. "He said James likes you and Sirius likes me" I state.
"That's ridiculous" Lily states and we giggle. Mr Evans then told us to go to bed. We said our goodnight and fell asleep.

The two Hattorans are forced to rely on each other and a few unlikely allies to solve a problem they for once can't simply fight their way out of.(Technically Star Trek fanfic but outside of existing storylines and I'm considering how easily the serial numbers could be filed off) This is all in progress and constructive feedback is strongly encouraged! I've got a lot in the air as I bring this all together.
