《Cynthia x Male Reader》Castelia City - Part 2

Y/N's POV:
I crouched down to the Zorua's level to check it's wounds. The Zorua growled lowly and pulled back its front leg as if to hide it.
I smiled softly and put my hand inside my jacket, pulling out a poffin. The Zorua's tail flicked from side to side as it limped closer to me. Suddenly it stopped and growled looking behind me. I offered Cynthia my hand as she crouched down next to me. I gave her the poffin and smiled, looking back at the Zorua.
"She won't hurt you, she's with me." I assured, petting the Zorua. Cynthia moved her hand closer to the Zorua and offered it the poffin. The Zorua sniffed her palm and ate up the poffin, as it nuzzled her hand.
"It seems we made our first new friend here." I said to Cynthia, taking out a potion and bandages to heal the Zorua.
"Well, according to the data from Professor Juniper, there are lots of new pokemon here as well familiar ones." Cynthia explained, as I bandaged up the Zorua.
"We have a lot of work to do then." I laughed, while standing up. The Zorua, now free of its injury, leapt up onto Cynthia's shoulder and licked her cheek.
I watched as Cynthia smiled and scratched behind the Zorua's ear.
"How did I get so lucky?" I muttered, offering my hand to Cynthia.
"What was that?" Cynthia smirked, letting herself be pulled up.
I shook my head, smiling.
"Let's go back inside." I said, opening the door to the pokemon centre. Cynthia kissed my cheek and walked back inside, leaving me blushing slightly as I followed in behind.
I walked back into the pokemon center and checked the PC. I raised my eyebrow, forgetting I had stored away something for safekeeping.

'I'll bring you out some day.' I thought.
"Maybe when you're not so violent" I chuckled to myself. I turned around to see Cynthia playing with the Zorua on the sofas.
"I never asked what was going to happen to the champion situation in Johto Cynth" I raised my voice slightly. Cynthia laughed as the zorua ran around the sofa.
"I told my four colleagues to handle it" Cynthia replied. "I might keep this one by the way"
The zorua jumped up onto Cynthia's lap and curled into a ball.
I rolled out one of my pokeballs towards the sofa and Zoroark appeared. Zoroark climbed onto the sofa and led down next to Cynthia.
"You know we could explore Castelia and you could have this." I pulled out my wallet, sitting down on the sofa. Cynthia smirked and leant her head against my shoulder.
"Or I could stay like this and save that for later." Cynthia said, putting my wallet back in my pocket. I lifted Cynthia's chin up and kissed her softly. She kissed back and pointed towards the other people in the center.
"Fine." I sighed, pulling out a map of Castelia in my bag. I traced a finger across the map, as Cynthia moved closer.
"Later." Cynthia whispered into my ear. I smiled and focused on the map, checking for any sub routes or the gym.
Cynthia's POV:
I put my newest partner, now in a pokeball, into my bag and turned to Y/N.
"So, where to?" I smiled. Y/N didn't reply. I frowned and walked up behind him.
"Y/N?" I whispered, running my hand up to his shoulder. Y/N grabbed my hand and looked at me, wide-eyed. I put my other hand up to his cheek.
"It's only me." I reassured Y/N. He looked away and pushed my hand down, grabbing his bag.

"Let's go." Y/N spoke quietly. I put on my bag and held Y/N's hand.
"I'm here, tell me what's wrong." I said, rubbing the back of Y/N's hand. Y/N sighed and kissed my head.
"I was thinking about when I lost you..." Y/N whispered.
"Oh..." I knew that Y/N had been scarred from losing me. It felt like he wanted to always protect me no matter what and when I lost him, it felt like a piece of me had disappeared. But now I have him back I feel complete.
I feel whole again.
"Look at me." Y/N stopped me in the doorway of the pokemon center. I stopped and looked up at him.
Y/N leaned closer to my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
"I'll do everything to protect you princess, I love you with my life." Y/N whispered. I felt a warm surge through my body, but at the same time a cold shiver from Y/N whispering.
"I love you too" I winked, walking out of the pokemon center. I felt Y/N grab my hand as we walked out onto the streets of Castelia.
"Don't leave my sight." Y/N said, staring at me. I raised my eyebrows and waited.
"Please?" Y/N smiled.
"That's better." I chuckled, squeezing his hand. "Now let's find the gym."
