ONE:
"I'm so excited," a twenty-four year old Jungkook says, staring at himself in the large mirror of the room that he was standing in, staring at himself. His reflection telling him a story of love, tears and happiness. His smile telling him a story of length, direction and morals. Jungkook was happily awaiting this big day for six months. And now it was finally here. The big day was finally here. And there were so many emotions swirling around in his mind that he didn't know which one to let out first.
The wedding day had arrived.
Jungkook continues to inspect himself. The way his floral suit fitted him, the way his brown hair was now raven and parted to the side. The way his lips were now more red due to the products that the makeup team had put on him.
The coloured contact lenses of his eyes hiding the brown underneath. He didn't want to wear lenses but the makeup team had forced him down and put them in his eyes, telling him that it was a whole part of the look. He would have just preferred his natural, chocolate eyes – that's what Taehyung had loved the most.
Yet, he had to listen to the grooms. What the grooms wanted, they grooms got.
"Jeon Jungkook?"
Jungkook turns around from the mirror, meeting Wendy's (also blue) eyes at the head of the door. He smiles at her, "yes Wendy?"
Wendy steps forward into Jungkook's room, the wedding venue so happened to have a couple of room, so the main party were staying there to keep everything under control, as well as the two grooms. She takes a seat near the window, looking straight out of it, "wasn't expecting this day to come so quickly," she says, glancing at Jungkook.
She pats down the silk, floor-length, floral dress that she was wearing. Taking a few strands of her black and cropped hair, moving it behind her ear. Jungkook stands by her side, looking out too, staring down at all of the outdoor wedding decorations. "Time flies when you're spending all of it perfecting your wedding," Jungkook mumbles, smiling at her softly.
"I know right, it's so beautiful here," Wendy replies, sighing, absorbing the bewitching sight of autumn leaves falling to the ground with chaste twirls. The orangey and red pigments painting the wet grass with little splotches. Air cold but atmosphere being heated with the way to early winter sun.
Jungkook takes in a deep breath, watching how the birds flew so gracefully. So heavenly through the sky. Wings cutting through the clouds and blue paint up above. "It looks like so many dreams and memories can be made here," Jungkook whispers, looking down at his watch before he glances at the skyline in front of him. The clouds moving slowly, wind pushing their way slowly in-between the tree branches. A world so busy looked so peaceful in that one, singular moment.
"One memory is going to be made here. And a few other important ones," Wendy smiles, hinting to something else, that Jungkook just couldn't understand for the life of him. Reading in between Wendy's lines were so damn hard to do since Wendy wrote down her lines, smudged it with water before ripping the piece of paper into tiny little smidgens.
Jungkook walks back the mirror to look at himself clearly. He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes, and when they reopen, he sees Wendy looking at him with the fondest smile ever, through the mirror.

"You know, looking back a few years, we've come so far. It's crazy to think that I used to believe that I walked alone. But being here with everyone, growing even more, sometimes," Jungkook pauses, to look at the rose gold ring on his middle finger, he plays around with it, fiddling with it, "...sometimes I feel like we're all running out of time." Jungkook meets Wendy's understanding eyes.
It was true.
Every second that passed, the more they grew, the more they had their own lives to mould into, the more that all of those young kids became...a fading shadow of who they used to be, the more it felt like time was slowly ticking too fast... if that made sense.
Wendy stands up, "maybe box dye your hair, it will probably make you feel eighteen again." Jungkook laughs heartily at her remark, "don't make me remember that cherry haired phase of mine, it was tragic." Wendy snickers to herself, "if I remember clearly, you made me tragically dye the front bits of my hair too – oh gosh, who did we think we were all of those years ago?"
Jungkook almost wheezes, "I don't know, but it definitely wasn't Brad Mondo."
Silence falls over the two once more, and Jungkook is back to looking at himself in the mirror, fixing any flaws that he was noticing. Wendy walks over to his side, "you look perfect, why are you worrying so much?" Sighing, the small bunny turns around to face his best friend, "I don't feel right. If I'm being honest with you, I'm happy for Yoongi and Jimin, but I don't feel like I should be here for someone else's wedding. The minute I stepped into this venue, I felt like I should be here to get married. I want to get married Wendy."
Reassuringly, Wendy takes Jungkook's hand, "you love Taehyung. You waited ten years to get some sort of closure from that boy, surely you can wait a little bit longer until he pops the question? Can't you?"
Jungkook looks to the side, at the little teddy bear placed on his bed. Taehyung had given it to him a few years back, and since then it had always been a comfort object for Jungkook.
"Yes," he whispers, looking back at Wendy with flushed cheeks, "I can wait my whole life for Taehyung, and I'd still love him."
"Good, now let's go, because we've got a wedding to go to."

The hall was absolutely ravishing. The beautiful pinkish carpet laid down right in the middle for Jimin and Yoongi to walk down. The white rose accents hanging on every wall, the pink and white chairs seated on either side for family and friends. Yellow fairy lights tousled on the walls, emitting a fancy glow that just didn't seem real. Everything about the ceremony started to feel more like a beautiful fairyland instead of reality.
Jungkook peers down the hallway to see Jimin and Yoongi sharing a quick, loving kiss (a secret one – since they were sort of forbidden to see each other, but they just couldn't get married without sharing on last kiss). Jungkook smiles softly, before it disappears.
"Where's Taehyung?" Jungkook whispers hurriedly, the two were supposed to walk down first to talk their places on the stage. Hoseok and Wendy shrug whereas Namjoon and Jin hurry off, mumbling that they're going to go and find Taehyung.
Minutes later, they come rushing back, "we couldn't find him. It's like he upped and left. Gone. Out of thin air, considering how smoggy it is today, " Namjoon says with a shrug.

Jungkook begins to panic, he didn't want anything to go wrong for Yoongi and Jimin, and now it seems as if everything was slowly falling apart. He takes a deep breath before saying, "Taehyung or not, let's get this show on the road." Wendy begins to protest but Jungkook just shoots her a sharp look, which stops her in her tracks.
Soft, delicate piano begins to play, signalling that the ceremony was about to start. Fixing his hair, Jungkook takes one last deep breath, before stepping forward into the hall.
The bunny forces a smile on his face, smiling at Yoongi's and Jimin's family members, before finally taking his space on the stage. Jungkook watches as Hoseok and Wendy follow, the two sharing a kiss before parting, walking to their separate places. Namjoon and Jin do the same. Jungkook sighs sadly, where the hell was Taehyung? And was was so important that he was going to miss two of his best friends get married? Nothing, nothing was more important.
The lights flicker a little, before switching off. Some guests gasp, but remain quiet. Jungkook smiles knowingly in the dark. Jimin and Yoongi had spent months perfecting their entrance.
A softer, more gentle song begins to play. One that made it obvious to the guests that Jimin and Yoongi were on the way. And then, the lights flicker on, Jimin and standing hand in hand right at the top of the entrance.
All of the guests stand up.
Jimin and Yoongi walk down the hall, smiling at their family and friends before they finally reach the center of the stage.
The next hour or so, is spent with many tears, smiles of happiness and chuckles as the couple exchange their vows and their “i dos”.
Jungkook wipes a few tears away, watching as Jimin, now married to Yoongi, kiss for the first time as a married couple. He was amazed to see such a beautiful relationship bloom to this stage.
Yoongi pulls away from his husband, "you ready to make this day even better?" Jimin, with sparkling eyes, the happiness bubbling through his body looks at his wedding ring on his finger, the diamond sparkling under the endless supply of fairy lights, "yes. Let's make someone else's dream come true today."
Grinning, Jimin takes a mic that Hoseok hands him, and clears his throat before saying, "ladies and gentlemen, we just want to say a big thank you for coming to our wedding. For believing in our love, and helping us along the way when there were bumps in the road. And of course, we wanted to say a very big thank you to our friends."
Yoongi takes the mic, "Namjoon and Jin, you guys were the ones keeping us calm through the storm. If it wasn't for your almost parental instincts to protect us, a lot of the times, it's safe to say that we would have given up. One of the main reasons why I'm able to call Jimin my husband is because you two, Namjoon, Jin, you were the ones helping us on our journey."
The two let out little cheers, tears glistening in Jin's eyes as he rests his head against Namjoon's shoulder, Namjoon's arm around the older.
"And now to Hoseok and Wendy," Yoongi hands the mic over to Jimin, who's smiling brightly, "you guys...have done so much for us.. Whether it's getting us a bog roll in the middle of the night, to making sure that this wedding was perfect, you guys would always go the extra mile for us. And I don't know how to thank you guys enough. We are so grateful for having you all, words can't explain. So thank you."
Wendy pulls Jimin and Yoongi in for a hug, while Hoseok watches the encounter with the happiest smile ever.
And finally, the married couple turn towards Jungkook, Jimin takes the younger's hand, "and you, we've got a very special surprise waiting outside for you."
A look of confusion draws its way onto Jungkook's face while he watches Jimin face the guests, "ladies and gentlemen, please, let's go to the next hall for the food and the cutting of the cake. And you'll have to excuse us for a bit."
After all of the guests leave, Jimin takes Jungkook's hand once more, and leads the younger outside.
The sun was setting beautifully, the evening aura of being outside so ravishing that Jungkook couldn't help but absorb the dazzling beauty of it all. Jimin steps away from Jungkook, and Jungkook just watches with confusion as his friends stand a good couple of metres away, a grin plastering all of their faces.
"Guys? What is going–"
"Jungkook."
The bunny turns around at the familiar deep voice calling his name out, his voice sounding like rich silk flowing in the wind. "Taehyung," Jungkook whispers breathlessly. And oh God, how Taehyung looked so handsome. Black hair no longer falling into his eyes giving him a boyish look.
But rather, his hair styled to the side more maturely. The black suit fitting his body perfectly. Tan skin glowing underneath the sunset.
Taehyung slowly gets down on one knee, pulling out a little velvet box. Jungkook gasps, the red autumn leaves raining down on the both of them.
"Taehyung, what–"
The rich and beautiful melodies of a guitar begins to play, and Jungkook looks over to the side, meeting Yoongi's excited eyes as his fingers strum delicately to Kina Grannis' rendition of can't help falling in love.
"When I first realized that I loved you all of those years ago, I also realized that I never wanted you to leave my side," Taehyung begins, holding the black box in his hand tightly. He looks up to meet Jungkook's sparkling eyes, the younger in front of him close to tears.
The strums of the guitar continues to play softly, the sound mixing with the soft coos of the wind. Surrounding Jungkook and Taehyung, protecting them from the harsh winds that were yet to come.
Jungkook clasps a hand over his mouth, trying to hold in the little sobs as Taehyung slowly opens the box in front of him.
"I also promised that one day, I was going to marry you. And with your consent, I'd love to make that dream become a reality. Because Koo, my darling. My everything. I don't want to wait for a next life to be called your husband. I want to take your hand. Hold your life between my fingers. And feel your love at the strongest peak every morning when I wake up by your side... until death do us part. Until this world takes my last breath."
Sniffles from Wendy could be heard from the back as Jungkook's body shakes, diamonds streaming down his face, splashing onto the ground.
Taehyung takes Jungkook's hand in his, "Jeon Jungkook, will you marry me?"
And in that single moment, Jungkook sees all of his memories with Taehyung rush up to his mind, and he's spinning. Dizzy with the fact that he had all of this love for the older. He was bursting with joy. Taehyung, Taehyung, Taehyung. Years later, and Jungkook was still crazy about Taehyung as if they were still young kids, getting used to the idea of love for the very first time.
"Yes. Yes, I will marry you," Jungkook whispers, getting down on his knees to cup Taehyung's face tightly, holding him, staring into his twinkling eyes. "You will?" Taehyung asks with disbelief, fingers shaking slightly as Jungkook holds out his hand. Taehyung slides the ring onto Jungkook's finger, staring at his bunny's hand with so much love that it just felt amazing.
"I will!"
Taehyung grins like never before. His life finally feeling complete. Jeon Jungkook, his soon to be husband.
