~ Scarlett's POV ~

It's a Tuesday afternoon, I just finished all my classes and made sure I had done my homework when my phone began to ring.

With a groan bubbling in my throat and leaving my mouth, I grabbed my phone and smiled at the caller ID.

"Hey Xio, whatcha doing?"

I asked as I stood up from my bed and walked over to my closet, I loved talking to Xiomara.

"I was wondering if you would like to go hang out with me?"

Xiomara had asked me softly, I couldn't help but chuckle because she sounded as if I would say no which I wouldn't.

"You don't even have to ask, where are we going?"

I asked I continued to look through my closet, we decided to go to the mall and so after speaking for a bit we hung up.

Xiomara and I were the power friendship almost everyone at school wanted, it was either they wanted to have our friendship or wanted to be friends with us.

Except nobody really spoke to us, they were sort of nervous which I didn't understand.

I found a good outfit and went to the bathroom to take a nice warm shower, when I came out, I walked to my bedroom and turned my fan on.

I put my outfit on and did my hair, but I didn't want to leave yet since I know Xiomara would have called me when she was in front of my house or if she was going to meet me at the mall.

Which after I finished getting dressed and sat down on my bed, I got a message from Xiomara who wanted to meet up at the mall which I texted back and grabbed a mini back pack to put my wallet, phone, chapstick, perfume and gum inside.

Before I left my house, I walked back upstairs and walked to my closet, I grabbed my pepper spray and taser.

You could never be too careful these days, there's still weirdos out here that can't take no for answer.

Scarlett's Outfit

I walked to my car and got inside happily, I turned my car and drove to the mall.

I had my Spotify playing on the aux cord and sang along to the lyrics as I pulled up in front of the mall and parked in the parking lot, I grabbed my mini back pack and got out of the car.

I messaged Xiomara to let her know that I arrived and she texted back quickly telling me that she was at the food court, I smiled at the message and put my phone in my pocket before making my way to the food court.

There she was, I looked at her and we ran to each other.

"I missed you!"

As we hugged each other, I looked at her and we began to laugh since we did see each other like two days prior or more.

I don't keep count, so please don't come for me because it just happens anyways.

"Okay, so should we eat and gossip?"

I asked, Xiomara looked at me and we both began to laugh before she grabbed my hand and looked around.

Xiomara and I were indecisive when it came to eating, so we decided for pretzels, chicken tenders, fries and then soda.

When we got our food, we sat down at a table and began our gossiping session, if you didn't have a gossip session with your best friend at least once a day or week, are y'all seriously friends?

Anyways, as we bounced from topic to topic, we found ourselves talking about Meredith and her cheating scandals.

"She has a big forehead by the way, I don't know who she's trying to get."

Xiomara told me, I chuckled which turned into me laughing hysterically.

I looked at Xiomara after I finally relaxed myself.

I responded which made the both of us laugh, when I tell you that my insides are screaming because of how hard I was laughing, believe it.

Xiomara had tears in her eyes and when we finally relaxed, she looked at me and I pulled out the photo with the megamind meme and we began to laugh even more.

"God, what would I do without you Xio?"

I asked as I sighed and took a sip of my soda, she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders before she returned the question back to me.

"You know, we should have a Netflix show that only we watch together."

I told Xiomara and got up, she stood up with me and we threw out our garbage before exploring different shows, we first went to forever 21.

"I would like that, what shows do you have in mind?"

Xiomara asked as we looked through different outfits as if we had all the space in our closet for these new clothes, honestly this is what makes us happy.

Well we love being around each other and since we love being at the mall as well, we just shop until we drop although we actually don't drop.

"Well we can either watch Outerbanks, Teen Wolf, The Umbrella Academy or Criminal Minds."

I laid out the suggestions which was some of the shows I loved a lot, Xiomara nodded slowly and took a deep breath as if this was such a difficult decision.

It was by the way.

"We should watch The Umbrella Academy, since Javon was going to be on it and we were going to watch it anyways."

Xiomara told me, I looked at her and nodded before grabbing two dresses that matched each other.

We bought the dresses and walked out of the mall, we walked to my car and then drove to her apartment because I missed Rosa and I like being around her home.

As we entered her apartment, I greeted Rosa who was sitting at the living room, she was watching Chowder.

I hugged her and then walked to the kitchen where I was smacked across the face with the smell of the dinner Alejandro was cooking, he was by the stove when he noticed me.

"Ah, Mija how are you?"

Alejandro greeted me as I walked over to him and hugged him tightly, he kissed my temple and smiled at me.

"I'm good, how are you?"

I asked happily, he looked at me and told me that he was alright.

"Stay for dinner, I'm cooking Arroz con pollo."

Alejandro told me, I accepted the invitation and took my phone out to let my father know that I would staying with Xiomara for dinner.

I walked out of the kitchen and walked to Xiomara's room, we sat on her bed as she turned her TV on and put Netflix on, beginning our Netflix binge watching.
