《Stealing The Bad Boy's Heart》I am waiting for the interesting party
Advertisement
I entered the house and was feeling so happy and satisfied. Liking someone and being liked in return is such a precious feeling. I wouldn't ever change it with anything else. It might even sound like a cliche, but I really don't understand how I've lived without this human being before. He has made his way into my heart and I want to close the door of my heart forever, so that he never escapes from there.
I had all those romantic thoughts until they collided with the reality and I remembered that I had to talk to my friends about this decision. Well, it's not like I want to get their approval or something, but I just want them to understand and support me.
"Finally, girl...How many hours did you have to talk? Was there even anything to talk," said Shay lying on one of our sofas.
"Bailey, is everything alright," whispered Meggy with a worried voice.
"Any questions Matt? Guess you're the only one who hasn't asked me one yet. Should I talk now?"
They got my sarcasm and didn't continue with the questions.
"I know that you're worried guys and I'll let you know what happened in a sec. The most important thing that happened was that we made up, and-"
"I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT," shouted Meggy jumping from her sofa and falling back on it again," See? Told you so and you didn't believe me," she said winking at Matt.
Matt face palmed himself and went into his pocket to get something out, but then stopped looking at me to see whether I noticed or not.
"SH*T! Bailey are you deaf or do you have memory problems? I really don't understand how MY cousin can be this stupid! You know what? I-"
"Wait wait wait a second. So, you guys discussed whether we would make up or no?"
"They actually even betted on it, so yeah whatever. But that's not what matters right now. Don't change the topic. Do you even realize the mistake you're making AGAIN?"
"Shay, we'll talk about what you just said. I just have to figure out what games these two were playing," I said turning my gaze from Shay to Matt and Meggy, "You betted on this matter? Really guys? Was it money that you wanted to take out when you stopped?"
Matt wanted to say something but I cut him off, "You know what? Don't answer it," I said sighing and rubbing my forehead.

"Now that you're done with the weird ones can you finally answer my questions? Although I actually have the answers to those questions. But still, I wanna hear what you have to say," she said taking her cup full of hot chocolate from the table and taking a sip.
"Look Shay, I don't think that I have to explain to you why I decided what I decided, but just because I don't want you guys to be in the dark, I'll tell you a couple of things. He apologized, which mattered a lot to me, he conveyed his feelings to me and that touched my heart, really. At that moment I just wanted to give him a chance to be different this time. It was my decision and I don't want you guys to judge me. Matt and Meggy, you guys are my friends and you Shay are my family. You always have to be the first ones to support me."
At first they were silent and I didn't even understand whether it was a good or bad sign. I couldn't even figure their thoughts out by looking at their faces.
"Look Bay Bay, we just don't want you to be hurt once again. I personally don't think that you should've forgiven him that easily. I think you needed some time to think about everything once again," Matt said scratching the back of his neck.
"Matt, I didn't expect to hear that from you, because you were the one to forgive Brittany so easily, without a second thought. Despite what others said I thought that YOU would understand what I felt," I said looking at him, while he looking away. I wonder why.
"Listen Bailey, I agree with Matt, but I also understand how you're feeling. You want to be next to the person you like and care about so deeply. Whatever you do I'll support you and I'll be by your side, just please be careful. I don't understand that guy sometimes, I don't know if you can trust him fully. But that's just what I think," said Meggy approaching me and hugging me.
"Thanks Megs, it means a lot to me," I said smiling sadly.
"Listen sis, you know that I don't approve of your relationship. No matter what you say, I don't think that I should support you and your toxic relationship. Go ahead and be pissed at me. But later on, I'll just tell you that I told you so. That's my final word," she said putting a huge marshmallow into her mouth.

I rolled my eyes at her not even saying a word. She was gonna stay here for a long time and I didn't want us to fight each and every day. We don't need an additional reason not to get along with each other.
"Okay, I was waiting for you to come home safely so I could finally leave. Glad to see you're okay Bails. I should leave now," Matt said waving a bye to me.
"Wait Matt. I still have something to tell you."
"There's more?" said all of them in unison.
"Sis don't tell me you're getting married, because believe me I'll be the one standing up in the church and saying that I'm against your marriage," said Shay standing up from the sofa pointing her finger at me.
I started laughing, imagining the scene. I was laughing because I knew that she would actually do it, if she said it.
"No no Shay, calm down. I just wanted to say that we're having a party to celebrate that we made up," I said smiling widely at them.
This was the only thing that could make Shay smile at the moment and change her angry face.
"Well, finally you said something good. Count me in! Oh and I'm not coming to celebrate your union, but to party and have fun. Alright?" she said flipping her hair.
"Yeah yeah, okay. Matt? Meggy? You in?" I said hoping they would agree to participate.
"Do we have any other solution?" asked Matt.
"Nopie. Megs you're in too right? Please say yes," I said making the cute face of the puss in boots from Shrek, or so I thought.
"Okay okay I'll come. I don't like parties, but I'll be there for you," she said smiling slightly.
"Yaay! Cool, I'll let you know the date and the time as well."
"Deal. I'm gonna go now. Bye Bay Bay," he said hugging me.
"Oh and Matt could you please take Meggy with you? Could you please take her home too?"
"Oh, no, you don't have to Matt. It's not-"
"Come on Meggy, we're friends, right? You don't have to be ashamed of me. Of course I will," he said smiling at her.
He smiled, but her smile instantly disappeared when he said the word "friends" and I knew that it would impact her. How can he be with Brittany when there's Meggy? I really don't get his taste. Let's hope that time will put him on the right track and Meggy will like him the same way during that time.
"So it was decided. Go ahead my dear friends," I said waving them a goodbye.
"While Meggy gathers her things can we talk outside Bails?" asked Matt.
"Sure," I said going outside with him.
"Listen Bails, I'm actually very worried for you. I know that you like him, but please don't turn your brains off too, if there's something that I can help you with, I will and you know that. I am always here, by your side. If that idiot hurts you in any way be that a small pain or a big one, please let me know. You know how much I love you, he said caressing my hair.
"I do Matty...I'm so thankful that I have you in my life...I love you too buddy, you're like the brother I've never had. Thank you."
"You can call me and text me anytime, remember that I'll always be by your side no matter what," he said taking my hand into his.
"I know...I know...I'll be by your side too...As always," I said and turned my head back to see that Meggy was staring at us with sad eyes.
I came closer to her and whispered, "Don't worry Megs, there's nothing going on between us."
"Bailey, I don't care anymore, I already told you that I'm gonna try having fun with Julian now," she said forcing a smile.
"I'll pretend that I believe you...Have a nice drive," I said winking at her.
I waved at them once again and went inside. I remembered that I had to write an essay and got pissed at myself for living it to the last day. Of course I also realized the fact that for the past days I did the minimum amount of work, which wasn't a good thing.
But the party changed my mood for the better. I will wait for that interesting party.
