Not all stories we read

Or lived to tell the tale of

End with a happy ending, my dear

For there are times when they're entirely different from

The stories read to us when we were kids

Which were the various fairy tales

We would always hear from adults,

Since, in reality, some stories end

The painful and sorrowful way
