Arjun was exhausted. He had not had a good day so far. First his luggage had been delayed. That had screwed him up royally. Especially because he didn't know if he would get his luggage back by the time he was to meet with his first client. It had been too late to go shopping once he was in Singapore so he had to leave it to chance. Thankfully he did get his luggage back in the morning but not without a lot of hassle. And then when he actually met with his client, he couldn't believe what an idiot the guy ended up being. What a waste of time he thought. The guy had exorbitant amounts of money but no clear cut vision on what he wanted from Arjun and his company. And god forbid he listen to any of Arjun's ideas. He was one of those arrogant, no it all foreigners who looked down at Indians but wanted to come make money in our Country. Arjun had no time, or patience for people like that. He would have to talk to his staff about screening clients better before setting up meetings with them. Singhania Developers was an established business well known in many countries. They didn't need clients like that.

Then to make his day complete, he got a flat tire. That added to the lack of sleep he'd had the night before, because he hadn't been able to get Arohi off his mind. Just made the day one he'd just like to forget. He was going to go back to his hotel room, have a drink, a long shower and then take a nap, a luxury he never afforded himself, before his dinner meeting.

Arriving at the hotel, he threw his keys to the valet and called his assistant to fax him some information that he needed for his evening meeting. He fumbled with his room key card, dropping it and then had a weird experience when the cleaning lady walked past him glaring at him. He looked back frowning.. He opened the door, and walked in and could not believe who was was waiting for him.

"SURPRISE!" Arohi said with a big smile. Arjun just stood there shocked, then he looked around, shook his head like he must be seeing things and looked back at her frowning. Arohi just stood there, not really sure what kind of reaction she was going to get. "How the, How the hell did you get here?" he asked still looking shocked. By plane she answered back. "AROHI! I know you got here by plane." he said gritting his teeth.. "I'm not an idiot." "I mean, into my room, we'll address why you got here in a second." "Oh I met this nice little lady, she was such a sweetheart, and I just told her how important it was for me to see you." Arjun. looked at her suspiciously. "And she just let you in because you told her it was important?' he questioned. "Well I just told her that, well that's not important." "What's important is I'm here." "Arohi, what did you tell her." Arjun asked angrily. "Well, I might have told her that I was going to be the mother of your child, and that you left me stranded back in India after telling me you would marry me, but now it was important that I see you because my parents had disowned me and I had no money, I spent the last of it flying to you." "I also might have told her that you were my last hope, and if I didn't convince you to marry me then I would have to kill myself." "So after hearing all that, she got me lunch. Which was great, cause I was starving and then she got me into your room." "People here are so nice and understanding. She saw what a dilemma I'm in."

Arjun stared at her with his mouth open. Then Arohi noticed the vein in his forehead start to pulsate and he was turning quite red and his eyes,..yup just as she suspected he was not happy.. Here we go again she thought. He seemed to want to say something, but he needed to keep taking deep breaths. "Arjun are you okay?" Arohi asked. Arjun held out his hand as if to say, I don't want to hear a word out of you, but he still did not say anything. Just glaring at her. Then he turned around, opened the door and left. Arohi, stared after him. "What did i say" she thought frowning.

Arjun was livid. Arohi was crazy. Why hadn't he seen it before. She should be in a loony bin or better yet she was wasting her talent working for her dad, by now she could be a renowned actress. Pregnant, stranded, killing herself. And worse she was talking like it had actually happened. Arjun wanted to ring her neck. If he had spent another minute in that room with her he himself would need psychiatric help.

What was she even doing here? He had important business to take care of and now he'd be not only babysitting Arohi but also putting up with her crazy shenanigans. He ordered his drink and sat at the bar for the next half hour until he finally calmed down alittle. He was going to need a lot of alcohol to get through the next few days.

Arohi, had decided she would wait 5 more minutes and if Arjun didn't come back she would go looking for him. What kind of welcome was this! She flew ALL the way from India for him. The least he could have been was happily surprised. Men were so hard to figure out.

Arjun walked into the room. Saw Arohi, sitting in a chair, her stuff all ready scattered everywhere. She's made herself right at home. He grabbed a desk chair and came and sat infront of her. As Arohi opened her mouth, Arjun stopped her. "I don't want to hear Arohi why you're here, what you want, etc etc." "I know how stubborn you are and I also know you're not going to leave easily." "So, here are the rules." "First you're getting your own room." "Second, I am not to see you while you're here.." wait he said when she was about to interrupt. "I'm not finished." "I am not to see you, you are not to call me. I am here on important business, I don't need you distracting me with all of your craziness and god knows where there is Arohi there is bound to be trouble." "That brings me to my third point." If you do get yourself into trouble here Arohi, so help me god you will not like what I'm going to do to you." Arohi gulped staring at him with big eyes. " I'm going to take a shower and then we're going downstairs to see what we can do about getting you a room, preferably on a different floor." With that Arjun grabbed his stuff and walked into the bathroom.

Arohi sat in her chair and pouted. He didn't even let her speak. How mean! Look at her kismet she'd fallen in love with a tyrant. And, as if she was actually going to follow anything he had said. She didn't fly all the way to Singapore so she could spend it alone. She'd find a way to turn things around, after all she was Arohi Ahluwalia. She always got her way, she thought with a smile.

Arjun came out of the bathroom, showered and looking smokin hot. He was dressed in a simple pair of blue jeans and a black Abercrombie t-shirt, and a pair of Lacoste sneakers. His hair freshly styled. Arohi felt flutters in the pit of her stomach looking at him. "Let's go." he snapped at her. "Yes sir" she said standing at attention. Arjun glared back at her. Once in the lobby, they walked to the front desk. "Hi, we need a second room." he said taking out his credit card. "Sir, unfortunately we have nothing available." "There are two delegations here this week, so we're completely booked." "Nothing, not even a storage room, that would do just fine" Arjun said as Arohi stared at him in shock! The hotel clerk laughed thinking Arjun was joking. But there was no humor on Arjun's face. "Um, well sorry sir we don't take reservations for storage closets." the clerk mumbled awkwardly. Arjun, sighed. "Alright then could you please let me know if a room does come available while I'm here."

Arohi, could barely contain her glee. Thank you god she whispered . Arjun glared at her and then started walking back to the elevator. Arohi ran after him. As they got into the elevator Arohi changed her expression from excited to solemn. "That's really too bad." she said sadly. "I really wanted a room of my own." "Now I have to share one with you." she said with a pout. "I wouldn't have even minded a storage closet" "You don't need that much space so it would have been perfect for you." she said giving him another sad look. Arjun glared at her.

Back in the room, Arohi opened up her suitcase. "I think I'll take a shower and then maybe we can go sightseeing." she said excitedly. "We are not doing anything together." "I am going to take a nap, and then I will be leaving for a business dinner." "You?" "I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't include me coming and bailing you out of jail." Arohi glared at Arjun and picked up her stuff marching into the bathroom. She was so mad, he was taking things a little too far she thought to herself. How many times did she need to say sorry.

She took a long shower and came out of the bathroom wearing a short peach colored sleeveless sundress printed with light green flowers. A brown belt around the waist making the top bodice fitted while the skirt of the dress fell loosely around her. Her hair fell in straight layers down her back. Her make-up was minimal, just some light eye shadow and shiny lip gloss. Looking over at the bed she saw that Arjun was fast asleep. She walked over and looked at him. He looked so innocent in his sleep, so soft and approachable. One would never guess that he was so surly and stubborn!

Picking up her purse she decided if Arjun wasn't going to go sightseeing with her, she'd go herself. This would give her a a chance to figure out what she would do next. She needed to get him alone. Just him and her and no work! She just needed to figure out how she would go about doing that. Arohi grabbed a piece of paper scribbling something on it and left it on the night stand. Then she picked up her purse and Arjun's room key, he could get another for himself she thought and left the room.

Arjun woke up slowly. He laid in bed for a few minutes, feeling disoriented. What time is it he thought looking over at the alarm clock. 6:00, he'd been asleep for 3 hours. Whoa, he must have been more tired then he had thought. He sat up and looked around. No sign of Arohi. GOOD, he thought. Getting up he grabbed a bottle of water and flipped on the TV. His business dinner wasn't until 8:00 so he had some time. I wonder where Arohi is he thought. 7:00 and still no Arohi, as Arjun shaved he glanced at his phone to see if she'd called or left a message. Nothing. 7:45. Arjun, sent Arohi a text message. Where was she? It was getting dark outside. What kind of sight seeing was she doing in the dark?! Arjun met with his client at 8:00 and was distracted during the whole meeting. He'd sent her another text message and no reply. Then he excused himself and had called her and her phone went straight to voice mail. He was worried now, where was she, he thought. Arjun managed to make it through the dinner without showing the client he was rushing and at 10:00 when he hadn't heard back from her he excused himself. Rushing upstairs to his room, he prayed she was asleep and hadn't heard her phone ring..

There was no one in the room. Damn! Where was she. If something happened to her he would never forgive himself. Was she lost he thought to himself. He picked up the phone and called again. Phone was off. Grabbing his car keys he thought maybe she was lost, he'll drive around a little bit. See if anyone had seen her. Praying that she was alright, he left the room.

Arohi yawned as she opened the hotel room door. It had ended up being a late night. She wondered if Arjun was back from his meeting yet. As she walked in she saw he wasn't back yet. Yawning again she got herself ready for bed. Just as she was about to climb into the bed the door opened. Arjun saw Arohi and for the first time in hours he felt he could breathe again. "Arohi" he said walking up to her and roughly pulling her into his arms. "You're okay." he said hoarsely. Arohi raised her eyebrows. "Yes, why wouldn't I be?" she asked. He pulled away from her and his tender expression suddenly turned stormy. "Where were you?" he roared at her. "Arjun, I met up with a couple of friends who live here." "They took me out for dinner." "Oh, and you didn't think it was necessary to let me know that." he yelled. "But Arjun," she said. "No, you are so irresponsible, you don't think, that' s the biggest problem." "I have been out of my mind with worry." "I pretty much blew off my client because I couldn't think straight, I was so worried that something had happened to you." "Arjun, if you would just listen." Arohi said trying to cut in. "No seriously Arohi you just show me over and over how right I am about you." "You're a selfish, immature brat who does what she wants and doesn't care how it effects anyone else." Arohi just stared at him in shock. "I called you so many times, and sent you umpteen messages but you couldn't be bothered to call or text back." "The next time I even think about forgiving you, I'm going to remind myself about tonight, remind myself that you're a selfish person and that I don't want someone like you in my life!"

"ARJUN!" Arohi screamed. Arjun just glared back at her. "SHUT THE HELL UP!" "How dare you speak to me like this." she snapped. Arohi walked to the night table next to the bed. "I left you a freakin note telling you exactly where I was and that I would be back late." "I also told you that I forgot my iphone charger at home so my phone was dead!" Arjun snatched the paper from her. His expression changing as he read it. He wiped a hand over his face slowly. "Listen Arohi," he started. "NO!" "You listen!" "All I've been hearing today is your voice." "Time for you to listen to me." "I understand you're upset with me but don't you ever talk to me like that again." "I'm not selfish." Arohi, paused to swallow past the lump in her throat. "I am not a self absorbed person that doesn't think of anyone else." "If you think that of me, then you don't know me." "I was out so late because I was planning something nice for you." "Something that would be relaxing for you because you're always working so hard." "I wanted to do something fun for you." "I met with old friends who lives here and they helped me organize something." "Arohi," Arjun said taking a step towards her. "No," Arohi said with tears rolling down her face. "I'm selfish, I'm immature. I'm a brat." "You were the one person that is never supposed to think these things about me, because you're supposed to love me." she said crying. "Baby, I'm sorry." Arjun said trying to take her in his arms. "No!" "I don't want to hear it." she said sobbing. "You're mean Arjun Singhania." "You're not my Arjun." "My Arjun would never hurt me like this." she said. Arjun felt horrible. "Please Arohi," he said holding onto her arms and pulling her to him. "I didn't see the note, and I was so worried." "I was so worried that something had happened to you after everything I had said to you about not caring where you are." "I do care, I care about everything, when it comes to you." Arohi cried harder. "Please baby don't cry, I'm sorry." "I should have known you would have left me a note." "I was so wrapped up in by own BS today I took it out on you." "It's no excuse but I'm sorry." Arohi looked up at him. Her face wet with tears. "Do you still want me to leave?" she asked through her tears. Arjun smiled. 'No, I never want you to leave." he said. "I'm done denying it." "I've been the selfish one." "You realized you made a mistake and have been asking me to forgive you for days now." "But I keep holding on to my stupid pride." "I told you I'd never take you back, so I told myself I couldn't go back on that." "But what I forgot is that when you're in love, there aren't selish things like pride." "I love you Arohi." "I love you so much and I've been so lost without you." Arohi looked up at Arjun, tears falling down her face, a smile on her lips.

"I love you too Arjun." she said wrapping her arms around his neck. Arjun pulled her close and held her so tight. Like he'd never let her go and he had no intention of doing so either. Arohi couldn't stop the tears, she was so happy. Finally she had her Arjun back.

When they did let go of eachother Arjun looked down into Arohi's sweet face, wet with tears, he cupped her face and softly kissed her. It was like coming home. They'd kissed numerous times since they're break up but with this kiss she was really his and he was really hers. He would never lose her again he thought as he deepened the kiss. "I love you Arohi," he said against her lips she pulled him closer letting him know how much she loved him. After the kiss ended, Arohi wrapped her arms around Arjun's waist and put her head against his chest. Life was good she thought smiling. They eventually did let eachother go and get ready for bed. But as they approached the bed together Arohi felt a foreign feeling to her...shyness. They'd shared a bed before but this would be different. They were different now. She got herself ready for bed very slowly and delayed actually going to bed. She started organizing something in her suitcase and then she started writing something in her day planner then she was rummaging through her purse.

Arjun watched Arohi with a smile on his face. He couldn't help it, she was acting so funny. It was past midnight and she had decided she was going to clean out her purse. She was anxious about sharing a bed with him he thought suddenly. 'Why though?' he thought. This wasn't the first time they'd shared a bed. He got out of bed and walked up to Arohi sliding his arms around her from the back. "What are you doing?" he whispered into her hair. "Nothing just thought I'd organize my purse." "Aren't you coming to bed?' he asked in a soft voice. "Um, I will." "You go ahead." "I'll be there soon." she said softly. Arjun turned Arohi around to face him and lifted her chin so that he could see her eyes. "Arohi, are you nervous about sharing a bed with me." he questioned. "No," she answered softly, and then sighing she nodded yes and looked back down. Arjun almost laughed. Shy Arohi Ahluwalia, now that was a rarity.

"Let me get this straight the Arohi Ahluwalia that isn't scared of anything." "The Arohi Ahluwalia that just stood up to an ass like me." "Is nervous and feeling shy about sharing a bed with me." "Arjun," she said against his chest. "Things seem different now." "We're really back together." "I just feel weird." "Babe, in that way nothing has changed." "I still want you," he said "but I would never do anything you're not ready for." "We'll wait, until your ready." "Really?" she said happily. "Yeah, I might be dead from wanting you by then but we'll wait." "Besides there's plenty of other things we can do before then." he said as he leaned down and gave her a sizzling hot kiss. Arohi was the one pulling him closer even when he had pulled away from her. "Arohi", he said in husky voice. "I'm only human, so today we gotta keep it to just one kiss." "Anything more and I won't want to stop." Arohi smiled up at him and nodded. They got into bed and fell asleep holding eachother close.
