Arjun turned over to his side and groaned. The pounding in head was unbearable. Why the hell had he drank so much? The answer came quickly...AROHI. And what was that chomping sound he heard. It was so loud, he thought to himself. Groaning again, he opened one eye and then the other. There sat Arohi, cross-legged next to him on his bed biting into an apple.

He closed his eyes and turned away from her. "Get out Arohi," he said softly. "Good morning sleepy head" she said cheerfully. "Must you screech into my ear?" Arjun asked grinding his teeth. "Oh sorry, good morning baby." "How are you feeling?" Arohi asked in a half whisper. "How do you think I'm feeling?" he snapped. "Not so good?" she said sympathetically. "No, not so good. I feel like I just had a semi steam roll over my head." "Last time I checked, that was not so good!" "Oh my poor baby" she said cooing at him. "I am not your baby. Now can you please get out and let me die in peace."

"Sure but then this advil and coffee will go with me." she taunted. Arjun looked back at her wincing from the throbbing in his head. Even glaring at her hurt. He slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard. Arohi held out 2 advils and a glass of water. Then passed him the cup of coffee. He took everything scowling at her. "Coffee helps, believe me coffee definitely helps. she said "You would know." he said sarcastically. "You've been in my position numerous times." "You know what Arjun your rude comments have no effect on me today, because today I am very very happy."

"Aren't you going to ask why I'm happy?" "Nope, don't care. I'm not in the mood for your drama right now. See that doorknob he said pointing at his door...use it." With that he started to lay back down. "No No, Arjun I want you sitting up for this ." "First I wasn't going to say anything, but now I've decided what the hell. What's there to hide." "Might as well tell you." "Arohi, I swear if you don't shut up I'm going to..." I love you" she said giving him a lopsided smile. "You look so cute when you try to scare me. Too bad it has no effect on me" she said cheerfully. "But good try." "Next time you try to threaten me maybe scowl a little more dangerously. That might scare me...oh who am I kidding." "That's not going to scare me either." Arohi said giggling to herself. Arjun stared at her like she'd lost her mind.

"Anyways back to what I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me." "AROHI," Arjun warned his face turning red with anger. "Calm down Arjun, so much anger isn't good for your blood pressure." " If you don't learn to control your anger now, what are you going to do when we have kids?" "I can already tell you our kids are going to be very mischievous." "Do you know how I know this? Well I'll tell you." "My mom says I was the most mischievous child in the neighborhood." "Didn't listen to anyone. I used to beat up the the other kids." Arohi smiled and shook her head as if she was remembering a fond memory. "Were you a naughty child Arjun?" she asked turning towards him and then answering her own question. "Ofcourse you were, look at how naughty you still are?" she said winking at him. "But usually only with me..." "WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP AROHI!" Arjun yelled and then grabbed his head groaning in pain.

She was trying to kill him he thought. Arohi stared at him with a big smile on her face, but as he looked back at her she quickly changed it to a pout. "Arjun, I don't understand you. You want me to whisper but you yourself are yelling." Arjun glared back at her. "Anyways what was I saying, oh yes so I've been doing some serious thinking and I don't think we should tell anyone we broke up yet." "Why?" he asked suspiciously. "Well because in a week or two we're going to have to tell everyone we're back together." "Honestly it's just so tedious." "I don't want to be labelled as one of those on again, off again couples." she said rolling her eyes. "We're not getting back together again Arohi." Arohi, looked at him and burst out laughing like he'd said the funniest thing. "Arjun," she said shaking her head. "You're so funny..ofcourse we're going to get back together again." "You're angry, and you have every right to be angry. But I'm going to win you back. I'll prove to you that I'm worthy of your love." Coming closer she kneeled down beside him touching his face. Even as he pulled away. "I know you don't like me very much right now," she said softly. But one day I know the love you felt for me, and I think deep down still feel for me, It'll return and we'll be happy again. "

"But you take your time." she said extra cheerfully. "But not too much time." Arjun just stared at her. "You're delusional Arohi" he said in a disgusted voice. Arohi just gave him a big smile. "You rest now. I'll come see you in alittle bit. " "Don't bother." he said. "No bother at all." she answered sweetly. "GET OUT" he yelled again not being able to help himself. Arohi ran out of the room giggling.

Arjun heard laughter as he walked down the stairs. He could see the tops of Arohi and Rashi's heads close together as they laughed about something. Arohi would have fit in perfectly with his family he thought ruefully seeing how close Rashi and her already were. Arohi looked up laughing and caught Arjun staring at her. She gave him a big smile. Arjun scowled back at her. Sighing Arohi turned back to Rashi, saying something to her and then the both of them looked at him and burst out laughing. Arjun stormed down the stairs, ignoring them both. He heard another peal of laughter and he couldn't stop himself from demanding what's so funny. "Nothing." Arohi said biting her lip from laughing. "Well something must be pretty funny if you're laughing like that." he demanded again. "Okay you want to know." Arohi said. Looking at Rashi she told her to stand up. And then the two of them started imitating him from last night. With Arohi being Arjun and Rashi being Arohi. Arohi was pretending to fall over everything, completely over exaggerating his drunkenness from the previous night. She would throw her arms around Rashi and kiss her cheek. Then pretend to hold a bottle and take a swig wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. And then she started to sing

Barsaat ke mausam main

tanhai ke aalam main 2

main ghar sey nikal aaya

botal bhi utha laaya

abhi zinda hoon to jee leney jee leney do

bhari barsaat main pee leney do

Movie: Nayayaz

Then Arohi grabbed Rashi aka Arohi and hugged her tightly. Hiccuping and slurring as she fell here and there. The two of them were laughing so hard they were doubled over holding their stomachs.

But there was one person who wasn't laughing. Arjun stared at Arohi, he was furious. How dare she make a joke out of him. He was going to teach her a lesson today that she'd never forget. He'd see who was laughing then. Arohi couldn't catch her breath. She knew Arjun was mad, but it had been so funny to see a drunk Arjun last night. Arjun who was always so in control of himself. So smooth, so cool and collected. He'd been a cute drunk though. As she looked up at Arjun's furious face her laughter died down a bit. " Rashi, mom called earlier she wanted to talk to you about something , she asked for you to call her back right away." he said, his eyes never leaving Arohi's. "Oh no that's the second time today that I've missed her call." Rashi said as she hurried upstairs to her room.

"Now what was it that I was doing Arohi," Arjun asked stalking towards her. "Nothing" Arohi said walking backwards away from him. "No, no, please tell me more about my drunkenness and then we can talk about your drunken escapades. " "You know, like when you force me to trespass to go swimming in someone's backyard and then throw yourself at me." Arohi, was getting worried now, that look in Arjun's eyes was quite dangerous. "I didn't throw myself at you." she stammered. "Memories..funny thing about them. We all remember them differently." "Like I don't remember breaking into song last night, when I was drunk." "Oh I just threw that in for fun, it made it the scenario even more hilarious." She said giggling Seeing Arjun's face she didn't think he thought it was funny...you didn't like my singing." she questioned. Arjun just shook his head..."nope." "Oh well, it was all in good fun. I think I'll just go call my mom too." she said turning around and taking a few quick steps to the stairs

Arjun had an evil smile on his face.. Now this was going to be fun, he thought as he saw her reaching the stairs. He caught her just as she took another step. "Arjun let me go" she screeched. "Come on Arjun please let me go." He grabbed her and picked her up throwing her over his shoulder like she was a sack of wheat. "Arjun" she screamed. "Put me down." he determinedly walked up the stairs with Arohi yelling into his ear. Rashi opened her door to see what all the commotion was about and was surprised to see Arohi being carried by her brother. Seeing Rashi, Arohi screamed.."Rashi help me". Rashi giggled..these 2 were so funny she thought. She waved and went back into her room. "RASHI!" Arohi did not have a good feeling about what was about to happen.

Arjun walked determinedly into his bedroom slamming the door behind him and kept walking until he reached his bathroom. Arohi was panicking now. "No, no Arjun" she said as she saw where he was headed. She tried to grab on to the door jamb but he easily retched her hands away from it. "I know how you find humor in everything" he said as he held her with one arm used the other hand to turn on his shower. "Let me know if you find this humorous."

With that he placed her in the water, holding her under the shower as she sputtered and fought him. Then suddenly Arohi stared coughing and gasping for breath. Arjun stared at her suspiciously but then his eyes widened seeing Arohi wheezing. He reached for her as she moved out of his reach still gasping. He took a step into the tub to get closer to her when suddenly she turned around and pulled him in fully. Staring up at him, her eyes twinkling, a smirk on her face. The shower beating down on the two of them. "You're right Arjun" she said "I do find this humorous, infact very humorous." Smiling she was about to turn around to get out of the tub when suddenly he jerked her back towards him. She crashed against his chest. Looking up at him with a surprised expression. His eyes had turned to liquid chocolate. And the way he was looking at her made every part of her tingle.

"What's your rush Arohi?" he said in his sexy husky voice. "Now that you have me in here, you don't think I'm going to let you go so quickly, do you?" Cupping her face he brought his lips down onto hers, kissing her softly until she moaned wanting more and then he pushed her against the tiled wall and gave her a kiss that was so sizzling hot she felt it her toes. She kissed him back and ran her hands through her hair and down to his shoulders pulling him closer. Arjun pushed her off the shoulder t-shirt down even further as he kissed her shoulder groaning and coming back to her ear and biting it making Arohi groan. They didn't feel the water turning from hot to cold because they were both on fire. She wanted him so much but when she felt his hands slip under her shirt she pulled away. " No, " she said breathlessly. The words took a few seconds to register and lift his passion filled haze. "No?" he questioned. "No Arjun." as she leaned her head against his chest. "No" he thought and then he pushed away from Arohi, turning off the water. He stepped out of the tub and grabbed a towel. Arohi stepped out slower picking up a towel herself. Glancing back he groaned inwardly. She was wet, and so damn sexy. Her shirt molded to her body.

He ran his hand through his hair, How was it that even when he hated her, he couldn't keep his hands off of her. The answer came to him quickly. It's because you don't hate her, you still love her. Arjun pushed that thought out of his head. Instead taking comfort in his anger. That was a safer emotion. He turned cold eyes on Arohi. "I know what you're thinking, and let me tell you, this means nothing, changes nothing". "This is lust, nothing more and nothing less." "I am in lust with you, so don't start getting any stupid ideas in your head that I'm in love with you." "Been there done that and it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life." Arohi said nothing just looked at him with sad eyes. "Don't look at me like that Arohi he said angrily, it's not going to have any effect on me." With that he walked out of the room. Arohi, leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. She knew it was going to be hard, that was a given. But seeing the pain in Arjun's eyes just killed her. "I'm so sorry I hurt you so much Arjun, I'm so sorry" she whispered.

The next day as usual, Arjun was the first in the office. He was engrossed in a new contract when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in" he said in a distracted voice. "Good morning" Arohi said cheerfully as she breezed into his office. "I brought you coffee" she said placing it on his desk. Arjun looked at her and then at the coffee cup and frowned. "I'm busy" he snapped looking back down at his work. "Alrighty then, I just wanted to remind you that tonight is Radha and Rick's sangeet." "Arohi, are you wanting to become my assistant?" he questioned. "Hell no," she said making a face. "Well then I don't need you to bring me coffee or remind me of anything, especially anything to do with my family and friends." "Well you needed a reminder for Rashi's birthday." she mumbled. "What was that?" Arjun asked angrily. "Nothing." she replied back sweetly. "Boy someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." she murmured to herself rolling her eyes. Watching her, Arjun took a deep breath, and threw his pencil on to the table. She was the most infuriating and irritating woman he had ever had the displeasure to meet! "Are you done talking to yourself, because if you are, then would you please mind telling me why you are here?" he asked his eyes flashing with anger.

"Arjun," she said sweetly. Walking around to him and perching on the edge of his desk, she leaned down so that they were face to face. "I just wanted to come by..."she said in a breathless voice moving closer to him. Arjun's eyes were starting to widen. "and tell you..."she.moved closer so their lips were just inches apart and then she looked into his eyes, they were turning dark, Arohi bit her bottom lip I wanted to tell you, Arjun felt his mouth go dry "that I"m wearing a black sari tonight so make sure you wear something that matches. I think it's nice when couples match." She quickly moved away from the desk and tossed a flying kiss at him. "I love you, have a great day baby." Then she was gone. Arjun sat there dazed, what the hell just happened. She was trying to slowly drive him crazy he thought, crazy with need. He forced himself to turn back to his work even though he kept picturing those velvety soft lips and what they felt like when he kissed them over and over again.

Arohi, left Arjun's office feeling breathless, and then she smiled. That was fun, you haven't seen anything yet Arjun, wait until you see whatelse I have in store for you. "Lily," Arohi called walked up to Arjun's assistant. "Can you do me a favour and tell me what Arjun's schedule is for the next couple of days I need to book some of his time." Arohi was planning a little surprise for Arjun but first she needed to get him away from work. "Maam, he's extremely busy." "He's in meetings for most of today and then back to back meetings tomorrow morning and then in the afternoon he leaves for Singapore." "Singapore!" Arohia screeched. "I mean Singapore, why is he going there?" "Sir has a series of meetings with various clients and he's meeting someone regarding the Empress Hotel project as well." "Oh is he" Arohi thought to herself. "How long is he going for?" I"ncluding tomorrow it'll be 4 days maam." "Interesting," Arohi thought, pondering this newest turn of events. "Lily, please book my ticket for Singapore with Arjun." Lily gave her a surprised look. "Okay maam," she responded hesitantly. "And Lily don't mention this to Arjun." "I want to surprise him" Singapore, Just her and Arjun, 4 days and 4 nights. This was too perfect. This couldn't have worked out better. God was on her side she thought gleefully. Lily was looking at her a little confused. Arohi maam, looked like she was going to start dancing. Arohi turned to Lily thanking her. Lily just shook her head, these foreign girls could be very odd sometimes she thought to herself.

Arjun was late getting home. He had a ton of things to wrap up before he left for Singapore. "Bhai, you're late again" Rashi said stating the obvious. "Are you coming too?" he asked as he climbed the stairs two at a time, "Yup, bhabhi convinced me to come. It better be fun" she threatened. "I have an idea why don't you both stay home." he snapped from the top of the stairs. Mumbling about spoiled girls and Arohi he rounded the corner to his bedroom and collided with a rushing Arohi who was coming out of her own room. He caught her just as she was about to fall. A sense of deja vu spread over him. Reminding him of the time in Chandigarh they had collided and sparks had flown even then. That felt like a lifetime ago. She looked like a sexy siren today with her black sari with red beading and red thread work. The blouse was extremely low cut with red beading around the neck. Her hair was in soft curls falling down her back. Her parted red lips and smoky eyes, made him want to carry her back to his room so that they could finish what they started in his bathroom yesterday.

Arohi cleared her throat bringing Arjun back to his senses. Straightening she asked "how do I look?" "Hot" came out before he could stop himself. "I mean it's hot in here, I'm going to go take a shower." A cold one, he thought clearing his throat, and stalking past her. Arohi smiled after him. He was such a bad liar she thought happily.

The drive to the venue was full of Arohi and Rashi's chatter and laughter. Arjun just grunted a few times in answer to Arohi's questions. He was so surly she thought frowning at him. They walked into the hotel and found their set of friends. The next little while was spent catching up with everyone. "Bhabhi," Rashi said pulling at her sari. "It is so stuffy in here." "What's up with the AC?' It was pretty warm, Arohi thought looking around. People looked very uncomfortable. And the food looked untouched whereas the bar was packed. People were waving napkins infront of their faces trying to provide some relief.
