Kavin went to Dipankar's house. As soon as he entered inside the house Nivedita hugged him and started shedding tears.

"Aunty!...Kya hua?...Aap ro kyun rahi hain?"...He asked worriedly, patting her back.

Nivedita parted from the hug and looked up at him with tears.

"Beta...Kisi ne tumhare uncle of jaan se maarne ki koshish ki hai"...She said while sobbing.

Kavin was utterly shocked after hearing her. He lost his temper after knowing the fact that someone wanted to kill his uncle.

"Kisne?"...He asked angrily.

Nivedita: Main nahin...

She stopped speaking when she saw Renee at the doorstep. Kavin followed her gaze and he too looked at Renee. Renee was dressed up as a widow and has come there to impersonate Preeti. She came near Nivedita who was looking at her confusedly.

"Maa"...She uttered with fake tears, hugging her tightly.

"Koun ho tum?"...Nivedita asked confusedly, pushing her away.

"Aapki asli bahu...Aarush ki maa"...Renee replied with fake tears.

Nivedita got angry as she heard her.

"Bakwas band karo!...Aur nikal jao yahan se!"...She yelled angrily, signalling her to leave the house.

Renee started sobbing fakely as she heard her.

"Tumne suna nahin maine kya kaha!...Nikal jao!"...Nivedita yelled at the top of her voice in anger.

Kavin put his right arm around her shoulders and side-hugged her.

"Aunty...Shaant ho jaaiye"...He said softly.

Then, he turned his gaze from her and looked at Renee.

"Tum yahan kyun aayi ho?"...He asked angrily.

"Apne bachche ke liye"...Renee replied with fake tears.

Kavin: Aaj se pehle kahan thi tum...Achanak aaj hi kyun...

He stopped speaking when Rama came there with Aarush in her arms. Renee went near her as she saw her and took Aarush from her. Nivedita saw that and became more angry. But she smiled sarcastically when Aarush started crying and pulling her hairs while being in her arms.

"Kaisi maa ho tum!...Tumhara bachcha tumhari hi god mein ro raha hai!"...She remarked with a sarcastic smile in anger.

Renee looked at her anxiously. Nivedita took Aarush from her and signalled her to leave. Renee sighed and walked outside the house before glancing at her and Kavin. Meanwhile Dr. Salunkhe came out of Dipankar's room. He saw Renee walking outside the house.

"Ye ladki!...Ye ladki yahan kyun aayi thi?"...He asked Nivedita and Kavin.

"Uncle isi ne to is ghar ki bahu hone ka daawa kiya hai"...Kavin replied, looking at him.

Then, he looked at Nivedita when he realised something.

Kavin: Aunty...Preeti...Mera matlab hai...

"Main jaanti hoon Kavin...Salunkhe bhaiya ne mujhe bata diya hai ki bahu Sachin ke saath bureau kyun gayi hai"...Nivedita said after interrupting him.

Kavin: Lekin aapko ye nahin pata ki...

"Salunkhe bhaiya...Aap us ladki ko kaise jaante hain?"...Nivedita asked Dr. Salunkhe after interrupting Kavin.

"Bhabhi wo ladki nihayati badtameez hai...Kuchh dinon pehle abortion ke liye mere hospital mein aayi thi aur maine use bahar nikal diya tha"...Dr. Salunkhe replied angrily.

"Ye kya keh rahe hain uncle?"...Kavin uttered surprisingly.

Nivedita was surprised too.

"Haan Kavin!...Aisi ladki is ghar ki bahu nahin ho sakti!"...Dr. Salunkhe said to him.

"Tumhara khayal bilkul sahi hai Salunkhe"...ACP Pradyuman said as he entered inside the house.

Dr. Salunkhe, Kavin, Nivedita and Rama looked at him as they heard his voice.

"Aap ye kaise keh sakte hain papa?"...Kavin asked, looking at him.

ACP Pradyuman: Kyunki main jaanta hoon is ghar ki asli bahu...

"Bhaiya..."...Nivedita uttered and signalled him not to speak further when he looked at her. (Dipankar had told Purvi's real identity to her besides ACP Pradyuman.)

"Nahin bhabhi!...Mujhe bolne dijiye!"...ACP Pradyuman said to her, looking at Kavin.

Nivedita became quiet and she too looked at Kavin who was looking at her and ACP Pradyuman in confusion.

"Kavin is ghar ki asli bahu mar chuki hai"...ACP Pradyuman said, looking at Kavin.

"Agar ye baat sach hai to Purvi Preeti bankar hum logon ko dhokha kyun deti rahi?"...Kavin asked him.

"Apni dost ko diya hua waada nibhane ke liye...Aur ek bhool ka prayaschit karne ke liye jo wo anjaane mein kar baithi"...ACP Pradyuman replied, looking at him.

"Kaisi bhool?...Kaisa prayaschit?"...Kavin asked confusedly.

ACP Pradyuman took a deep breath and looked at him.

"Beta Purvi darasal wahi ladki hai jiske saath tumhari shaadi honewali thi"...He replied, looking at him.

Kavin gasped and his eyes distended in surprise as he heard him. Dr. Salunkhe was surprised too.

"Ye kya keh rahe hain papa!"...Kavin exclaimed surprisingly.

"Dipankar ne khud hi mujhe sab kuchh bataya tha"...ACP Pradyuman said, looking at him.

Kavin: Aur wo zaleel Suhas ke daawe?...Wo...

"Sab jhooth hai...Purvi ka kisi ke saath koi sambandh nahin...Wo Ganga ki tarah pavitra aur Chandani ki tarah ujli hai"...ACP Pradyuman said after interrupting him.

"Tajjub hai aap logon ko sab kuchh maloom tha...Lekin usne sab kuchh mujhse kyun chhupaya?"...Kavin uttered dejectedly.

"Usne sab kuchh sirf tumhe hi bataya hai"...ACP Pradyuman said to him, taking out Purvi's letter from his coat pocket.

Kavin looked at him in confusion.

"Apni is chitthi mein...Lo padho ise"...ACP Pradyuman said as he forwarded the letter towards him.

Kavin took the letter and opened it.

"Ye chitthi Dipankar ke haath lag gayi thi...Asliyat jaankar tumhe Purvi se nafrat na ho jaaye, ye chitthi unhone chhupa li thi...Tum dono ke milan se sabse jyada khushi unhe hi hoti"...ACP Pradyuman said to him as he read out the letter.

"Purvi..."...Kavin whispered with tear brimmed eyes after reading the letter.

And at the same time he felt extremely guilty when he recalled how badly he behaved with her in the bureau.

"Kaash ye chitthi mujhe pehle mili hoti"...He whispered with tear brimmed eyes.

He wiped away his tears when he recalled Dipankar. He looked at Nivedita who was patting Aarush's back as right now he was asleep in her arms.

"Aunty...Uncle kahan hain?...Wo theek to hain na?"...He asked worriedly.

"Ghabrao nahin Kavin...Dipankar bilkul theek hai...Sleeping pills ki wajah se abhi tak so raha hai"...Dr. Salunkhe said to him.

"Sleeping pills?"...Kavin murmured confusedly.

"Haan...Sleeping pills...Dipankar ke doodh mein sleeping pills milayi gayi thi...Khooni milana to zehar chahta tha lekin mila di neend ki goliyan"...Dr. Salunkhe told him.

"Uncle...Meri samajh mein to kuchh nahin aa raha...Aur koun hai jo Dipankar uncle ko maarna chahta hai...Unke khaane-peene ka dhyan to Purvi rakhti thi"...Kavin uttered, looking at him.

Before Dr. Salunkhe could say anything Rama spoke up.

Rama: Kavin bhaiya...Kal raat Preeti didi...Mera matlab hai Purvi didi ka rishtedaar aaya tha...

"Koun?...Suhas?"...Kavin asked after interrupting her.

"Haan Suhas...Wo kal raat yahan aaya tha...Jab Purvi didi ke kehne par main general store se chachaji ki dawayian lekar ghar wapas aa rahi thi tab wo mujhe ghar ke paas dikha tha...Chalte chalte hum dono takra gaye aur galati se uski jeb se zehar ki bottle gir gayi...Main to zehar ki bottle dekhkar ghabra hi gayi thi lekin phir maine apne mann ko shaant kiya aur chup-chap zehar ki bottle aur sleeping pills ki bottle ka label badalkar Suhas ko lauta diya"...Rama told him.

"Suhas ne pehchaana nahin tumhe?"...Kavin asked her.

"Wo kaise pehchaanta bhaiya jab maine apni shakal dupatte se dhak rakhi thi"...Rama replied and chuckled cleverly.

"Hmmm...Aur Purvi ko is baare mein kyun nahin bataya?"...Kavin asked, looking at her.

"Main to kabse koshish kar rahi thi bhaiya par didi hi koi na koi kaam mein vyast ho jaa rahi thi...Isliye mujhe unhe batane ka mauka hi nahin mila"...Rama uttered sadly.

Kavin smiled lightly as he heard her out.

"Well done Rama!...Agar tum nahin hoti to aaj uncle nahin hote!"...He said softly, keeping his right hand on her head.

Rama smiled warmly as she heard him. Nivedita looked at her and then at Kavin.

"Kavin beta...Jaldi se Purvi ko wapas is ghar mein le aao"...She said with tear brimmed eyes.

Kavin looked at her and wiped away her tears.

"Aunty...Main aapse waada karta hoon ki jald se jald Purvi ko is ghar mein wapas le aaunga"...He said softly, holding her hands.

Nivedita smiled cheerfully and caressed his head.

ACP Pradyuman: Lekin Kavin tum karne kya wale ho?...Hum abhi ye nahin jaante ki Suhas ne Dipankar ko maarne ki koshish kyun ki aur...

"Ye sab kuchh main khud jaan jaaunga papa"...Kavin said after interrupting him.

And within seconds he walked outside the house. He sat inside his car and drove off for the bureau. ACP Pradyuman and Dr. Salunkhe stayed there only for Dipankar.
