This company is the best place I have ever worked at. Well, I didn't work in a lot of places but I know you don't get this everywhere. A party after a deal pulls through. AJ company organizes a party to officially open the new place, hotel, or restaurant in this case a restaurant for their new owner. Awesome right? Right, I thought as much. It is technically to buy new customers but disguised as a thankful gesture to the new hotel/ restaurant owner and also to get employers from different departments to mingle and get to know each other.

When we checked on this deal/place three months ago, I was slightly irritated by the look of the place. It was a small coffee shop. The paint was peeling off at the corner and the place looked like it was ready to give up any time soon.

The owner, a sixty-seven years old Mrs. Smith wanted to sell it and move back to her husband's hometown after he has passed away ten years ago. She wanted to hold on to the only memory they built together but now, She was getting old and could no longer take care of it and needed it in good hands, hence AJ company.

People trusted us with their properties to transform them into something wonderful. The once small coffee shop was now transformed into a three-story restaurant.

I have no doubt it will become a five stars restaurant in no time.

The building and construction team, the design team, and together the other teams did amazing work here. This place is looking pretty amazing, It should, considering two talented men are the people who worked on it. I'm not surprised. I have seen them do it time and again, transform anything into something! And I'm completely mesmerized looking at this beautifully crafted and designed restaurant.

"Come on. Why are standing there" Lena tugged at my arm? I didn't realize I was standing in one place admiring the place.

"We are late, thanks to you," I told her seeing as they were done with the opening ceremony.

"Pardon me for trying to make you beautiful so you could get laid today." She teases earning an eye roll from me. She walks away to get us a drink.

"Attention everyone, "everyone turns toward the voice, I follow suit. And there he was, my strikingly handsome boss. He was in a black suit with a grey tie. When was he not in a suit? I chuckle to myself. He was looking dashing as always.

"Thank you all for making it here tonight to celebrate with us. Special thanks to our building and construction team, design team, and all the teams who help make this a reality. I want to Specially thank someone who stood by me through all the difficult times with this project. It is her job but she went all out of her way to assist this project. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up to miss Ella Lawrence, my personal assistant"

"Oh my God, what!!

Jack gestured for me to come on the stage and I did. " thank you" I mouth to Jack and Ashton with a hug before addressing the people. " Thank you so much and it is an honor to be working with these two gifted bosses, I'm thrilled, please do enjoy the party." I didn't know what else to say.

Ashton took me to meet his business partners and associates.

"Hello miss Lawrence, nice to meet you again" Mr. Sean greeted me.

Oh hi. I replied politely extending my hand for a handshake but Mr. Sean had a different idea. He made a move to hug me but...

"Oh! Mr. Sean, thanks for joining us tonight. Hope you are enjoying the party?" Ashton interrupted.

Talk about the right timing!

"I thought I said to stick by me, But you thought walking away from me, and roaming alone was a better option" his voice raised with each word.

"Sorry. But in my defense, you left me there for more than five minutes talking to random people when you were supposed to be introducing me to your business partners."

"Please Sir, You are needed down the hallway immediately? A guy I remember as Dean from the Human resource department informed interrupts our little argument and he just left without another word, not even a glance.

" Wow, that was awesome, why didn't you say anything before" Lena hug me. I'm joining her after like an hour since I left her and she was still talking about the announcement.

I gulf the wine she was holding and empty the glass. "I had no idea. I was as surprised as you' were"

"Are you still denying the fact that your hot boss has a thing for you" she whispered for only my ears though I doubt anyone will hear us in this loud Hall or whether they even care about what we say.

She had no idea what just happened! And I don't intern to tell. She will just cook up stories about how that shows Ashton like me anyway, and I don't want to hear that, so I'm not telling her about our little chat. I will not call it an argument cause it wasn't one, right?

"Did you listen to him talk at all? He said his PA, dummy, not his girlfriend or even his friend" I giggle over the music.

The last few words hurt though, I thought we were friends at least but apparently not.

Lena has this weird feeling that Ashton likes me but it was just ridiculous. I must say at some point in time I did wish it was true but I knew better, we don't stand a chance. I don't stand a chance.

"Can I have this dance, please" I lift my head to meet his beautiful green eyes pleading down at me. I could really get used to this. The smile that played at my lips on hearing those words. How can I say no to this handsome man who takes my breath away with just his cute smile? No sane person would turn down an offer to dance with Ash.

Over the past five months. A lot has happened, both good and bad. After the incident with my forehead, we got really close, then this project was a tough one that bound everyone together. I got to know many people from different departments and I also spend a lot of time with Ashton. I will not miss an opportunity like this for anything. I nod, twice

I took a long sip of my wine before handing it to Lena who gave me 'the told you so look' I ignore it.

We were dancing very closely. His light touch on my back sends shivers down my spine. I was enjoying this position and I couldn't help but get a little jealous thinking about how many girls he has held this close. "Do you dance this way with your former PAs?" I bloat out before I could stop myself. I was happy being in this position with him. Even if it was because I was his PA I was happy nonetheless, yet a part of me wanted more than that. We flirt and make out but that was it. Nothing more, afterward we both consider those intense make-out sessions mistake since they either happen when he is stressed or drunk.

As we sway to the music, I did not realize when we drifted away from the crowd to the secluded part

"None, only you" he whispered. His voice sounding husky

"Which make you special since you are here with me in this position."

That was enough to attach my lips to his.
