ဝေယံပိုင် သူ၏ဇနီးလေးကို အိမ်ပြင်ခြံတံခါးထိ လိုက်ပို့ပြီး ရဲနိုင်နှင့် စကားအနည်းငယ်ပြောကာ အိမ်ထဲသို့ ပြန်ဝင်မည်အလုပ် ကားဟွန်းတီးသံကြောင့် ရွေ့နေသည့် ခြေလှမ်းများကို ရပ်လိုက်ရသည်။
ကားမှာတော့ အာကာထက် ကားဖြစ်ပြီး အရင်ပြေးဆင်းလာသူမှာ အာကာထက်မဟုတ်ပေ။ သူ့ညီမလေး ဝေကြူသင်းဖြစ်နေ၏။
ထူးဆန်းသည်က သူ့ကိုမြင်ရင် ပြေးပြေးဖက်သော ညီမလေးမှာ ဒီတစ်ခေါက်တော့ သူ့ကိုဖြတ်ကျော်ပြီး အိမ်ထဲပြေးဝင်ကာ သူ့ယောင်းမကို တကျီကျီ အော်ခေါ်နေခြင်းပင်။ ပြန်ထူးသံ မကြားတော့မှ သူ့အစ်ကိုဆီ ပြန်လှည့်လာပြီး
"ကိုကြီး.. မငယ်ရော မငယ်အိမ်မှာ မရှိဘူးလားဟင် ညီမလေး သူ့ကိုလွမ်းနေတာ..”
"အိုး..ညီမလေးက ကိုကြီးကို မလွမ်းဘဲ ကိုကြီးမိန်းမကို လွမ်းနေတာ တရားမျှတလို့လား ကလေး..”
ဝေယံက စသလိုလိုပြောလာလျှင် ကြူသင်းက မျက်နှာကြီး ပြုံးဖြီးပြီး..
"ဟီး... ကိုကြီးကိုလည်း လွမ်းပါတယ် ဒါပေမယ့် မငယ်ကို နည်းနည်းပိုပြီး လွမ်းတယ်”
"အာ..ဒီကလေးနဲ့တော့”
ဝေယံက သူ့ညီမလေးခေါင်းကို ခပ်ဖွဖွပုတ်လိုက်သည်။
"ဝေယံ မင်းမိန်းမက တကယ်ပဲ ငါ့ဇနီးလောင်းလေးကို လုသွားတာပဲ နေ့တိုင်းနေ့တိုင်း မငယ်ဆီ သွားလည်ချင်တယ် သွားလည်ချင်တယ်နဲ့ တကျီကျီပူဆာနေတာ..”
သူတို့နှစ်ယောက်နောက်က သူတို့ဆီလျှောက်လာသည့် အာကာထက်မှာ လက်နှစ်ဖက်ပေါ် အထုပ်တွေ အစုကြီးအပြုံကြီး သယ်လာရင်း ပြောလေ၏။
ဝေယံသည်လည်း ယောက်ဖဖြစ်သူ ပင်ပန်းနေသည်ကို မကြည့်ရက်ပဲ သူစကားတွေကို တဟားဟားရယ်ပြီး အထုပ်တွေ လှမ်းကူသယ်လာ၏။ အိမ်ထဲရောက်တော့ ကြူသင်းက
"ကိုကို... ကြည့်ပါအုံး ကိုကြီးနဲ့မငယ်တို့ရဲ့ မင်္ဂလာစုံတွဲ ဓာတ်ပုံကြီး လှလိုက်တာ သဲတို့လည်း ဒီလိုဘယ်တော့ရိုက်ရမလဲ”
ဧည့်ခန်းနံရံပေါ် ကပ်ထားသည့် ဝေယံနှင့် ရွှေငယ်တို့၏ ဓာတ်ပုံကြီးကို လက်ညိုးနှင့်ထိကာ အာကာထက်အား ပြောရှာသည်။ အာကာထက်သည်လည်း ငတုံးမဟုတ်။ ဘယ်လိုအကွက်ရှာရမလဲ သိနေသည်။
"ဒါကတော့ ကိုကိုလည်း မသိဘူး.. သဲလေးပဲ သဲလေးရဲ့ ကိုကြီးကိုမေးလေ..”
ထိုအချိန်မှာတော့ ဝေယံက မင်းသိပ်တော်လှချည်လားဆိုသည့် မျက်နှာထားနှင့် အာကာထက်ကို စူးစူးရဲရဲကြည့်လိုက်သည်။ သို့သော် ကြူသင်းမေးသော မေးခွန်းက အာကာထက်အား မျော်လင့်ချက်မေ့စေလေ၏။
"ကိုကြီး မငယ် ဘယ်သွားတာလဲလို့ ညီမလေးမေးနေတာ မဖြေသေးဘူး..”
"အော်..ညီမလေးရဲ့ မမက ပန်းချီပြပွဲတစ်ခုကို သွားနေတာ..”
"အော်...”
အချိန်အတန်ကြာစကားပြောကြပြီး အာကာထက်က သူနှင့်ကြူသင်းကို အမြန်ဆုံးနီးစပ်ပေးစေဖို့ နည်းလမ်းတစ်စုံတစ်ရာကို ဖွေရှာလိုက်၏။ ဒီလို မရီးဖြစ်သူ အိမ်မှာမရှိတဲ့အချိန်ကလည်း အချိန်ကောင်းပဲ မဟုတ်လား..
"ဝေယံ.. မင်းတို့ ဘယ်ေတာ့ကလေးယူဖို့ စဥ်းစားထားလဲ”
အာကာထက်စကားကြောင့် ပွဲကျနေသော စကားဝိုင်းမှာ ချက်ချင်းပင် ငြိမ်ကျသွားလေသည်။ ကြူသင်းက အာကာထက်ကို မျက်နှာအမူအရာဖြင့် ကိုကိုတော့ မီးစကို မစွဲစွဲအောင် လုပ်နေတာပဲ ဟူ၍။
ဘာမှ မပြောပဲ ရန်ထသတ်မလား မသေချာမရေရာပဲ သူ့ကို ကြောင်ကြည့်နေသော ဝေယံပိုင်ကြောင့် အာကာထက် ကျောချမ်းလာ၏။ သူစကားမှားသွားတာလား တွေးမိပြီး
"ငါ..ငါ အဲတိုင်းပဲ မေးလိုက်တာပါ မှားသွားရင် ဆောရီးနော ဘရို”
သူ့ယောက်ဖလောင်း ပုခုံးကို ပုတ်ပြီး ခွင့်လွှတ်လားလား ပြောဆိုတုန်း အေးစက်နေသော မျက်နှာပိုင်ရှင်မှာ ရုတ်တရက် ပြုံးလာ၏။ နောက်ပြီး
"သူမသာ လက်ခံရင် ငါကဘယ်လို ဖြစ်ဖြစ်ရတယ် ကလေးယူယူ မယူယူ”
"ဘာ!”
"ဘယ်လို..!”
ဝေယံစကားက အာကာထက်ကိုရော ဝေကြူသင်းကိုပါ အကြိီးအကျယ် ရှော့ခ် ရသွားစေသည်။ ဝေယံ ဘာမှထပ်မပြောသေးခင် မှာပင် သူတို့နှစ်ယောက်က ဦးစွာ တပြိုင်နက်တည်း အဓိပ္ပါယ်တစ်ခု တည်းသော စကားကို အော်ပြောလိုက်၏။
"ဧကန္တ မင်း မင်းမိန်းမနဲ့ အတူမနေရသေးတာလား?”
"ကိုကြီးက မငယ်နဲ့ ခွဲအိပ်နေတာလား..ဟမ်”
သူတို့နှစ်ယောက် စကားကြောင့် မူလပြုံးနေသော ဝေယံ မျက်နှာမှာ နက်မှောင်သွားလေတော့၏။ ထိုသို့ နက်မှောင်ပြီး ချက်ချင်းပြောင်းလဲသွားသည်ကိုက အာကာနှင့်ကြူသင်း အဖို့ သူတို့ထင်မြင်ချက်ကို ပိုပြီး မှန်ကန်ကြောင်း ခန့်မှန်းနိုင်လေ၏။
"မင်းတို့တကယ်ပဲ အတူမအိပ်သေးတာလား ဝေယံ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ရွှေငယ်က မင်းကို လက်မခံလို့လား..”
အာကာထက်က သူ့ယောက်ဖအခြေအနေကို ကြည့်ပြီး မနေနိုင်စွာ ထပ်ကာဝင်ပြောလေ၏။ ထိုအချိန်မှ
"သူမ လက်မခံတာမဟုတ်ဘူး ငါကိုက မထိရက်မကိုင်ရက် ဖြစ်နေတာ ပြီးတော့ ငါသူမကို ချစ်ကြောင်း သဘောကျကြောင်းတောင် ဝန်မခံရသေးဘူး..”
"ဘာကွ!!”
"ကိုကြီး ဘယ်လိုပြောလိုက်တယ်!!”
နှစ်ယောက်စလုံး မျက်လုံးမျက်ဆံပြူးကာ ထိုင်နေရာမှ ထမိသည်အထိ ရှော့ခ် အကြီးကြီးရလိုက်ပြန်၏။
သူတို့နှစ်ယောက် ဖြစ်ပျက်နေသည်ကို ဂရုမထားဘဲ ကာယကံရှင် ဝေယံပိုင်မှာတော့ အေးအေးလူလူနှင့် စကားတွဲကို ဆက်လေ၏။
"မင်းတို့ကြားသလိုပဲ.. ငါဘယ်ချိန် ဖွင့်ပြောဖို့ ကြိုးစားကြိုးစား ပါးစပ်ကနေမထွက်ဘူး ဖြစ်နေတယ် ”

"ညီမလေးသာ မငယ် နေရာမှာဆို ကိုကြီးလို ယောက်ျားမျိုးကို ယူမှာတောင်မဟုတ်ဘူး”
သူ့အစ်ကိုကို မျက်စောင်းထိုးရင်း ယောင်းမအတွက် စိတ်မဖြေသာ ဖြစ်နေသော ဝေကြူသင်းကို အာကာထက်က
"သဲ.. သဲပြောပြလိုက် ကိုကိုဆို သဲကို တစ်နေ့ဘယ်နှစ်ခေါက် ချစ်တယ်ပြောလဲ သဲရဲ့ကိုကြီးကို ရှင်းပြလိုက်”
မီးလောင်ရာ လေပင့်နေသော အာကာထက်ကို ဝေယံ ထပြီးထိုးချင်စိတ်တောင် ပေါက်လာ၏။ သူလုပ်မှ သူ့ညီမလေးက ပိုလို့တောင် သူ့ကိုအပူရှာပေးအုံးမည်။
"ကိုကြီး.. ကိုကိုဆို တစ်နေ့အနည်းဆုံး သုံးကြိမ်ပြောတယ် မနက် နေ့လည် ည ဒါတောင် ကိုကို ဂျူတီဝင်နေရတဲ့ အချိန်တွေနော် မငယ်လို ညီမလေးကအနားမှာ ရှိနေရင် တစ်နေ့လုံးလုံး ချစ်တယ်ပဲ ပြောနေမှာ..”
တော် တန် တိတ် ဆိုပြီး ထအော်ချင်ပေမယ့် ဒါက အမှန်တရား။ ဝေယံ မငြင်းဆိုနိုင်ပေ။
"ကဲ ကြားလား မင်းက မင်းမိန်းမနဲ့ တချိန်လုံးရှိနေတာကို ဖွင့်တောင် မပြောဘူးတဲ့လား မင်း ငါနဲ့ မင်းညီမကို ကြည့်ပြီး သင်ယူ”
"သွားသေလိုက် ဒီမှာမနေတော့နဲ့ အိမ်ပြန်ကြတော့ စိတ်ရှုပ်တယ် အလကားနေ ငါ့ကိုပဲ ခွေးစာတွေ လာလာကျွေး”
စိတ်ရှုပ်သည်ကို အကြောင်းပြပြီး ညီမလေးနဲ့ ယောက်ဖကိုတောင် အိမ်ကနှင်ချသည့် ဝေယံအဖြစ်။

အာကာထက် ယုံကြည်ချက်ရှိရှိပြောရင်း ဝေကြူသင်းနှင့် အကြည့်ဆုံလိုက်ကာ မျက်ခုံးပင့် ပြလိုက်ပြီး အချက်ပေးလိုက်သည်။
"မင်းမိန်းမ အိမ်ဘယ်ချိန်လောက် ပြန်လာမှာလဲ”
"အာ.. ၁၀နာရီ နီးပါးထင်တယ် ပွဲက အခုမှ စမှာ ဘာလို့လဲဟမ်..”
ဝေကြူသင်းက သူမ၏ လက်ပတ်နာရီကို ငုံ့ကြည့်ပြီး တစ်ချက်ပြုံးလိုက်ကာ
"ငါးနာရီ အချိန်ရမယ် အကိုတို့ စလိုက်ရတော့မှာလား”

ဝေယံက သူတို့နှစ်ယောက် ဘာပြောလို့ ဘာပြောမှန်းမသိပဲ နားမလည်မှုများစွာဖြင့် ကြောင်အမ်းကြည့်နေမိသည်။ ရုတ်တရက် သူတို့နှစ်ယောက် က သူ့ကို ဆွဲခေါ်ပြီး သုံးယောက်မျက်နှာချင်းဆိုင် ဝိုင်းဖွဲ့ကာ အစီအစဥ်များကို တီးတိုးစွာ ရှင်းပြလေ၏။
