ဝေယံပိုင် အထဲတွင် ရိုးရာဝတ်စုံပြောင်းလဲနေသည့် ဇနီးဖြစ်သူအား အပြင်မှ ထိုင်စောင့်နေသည်မှာ အတော်ကြာပြီ ဖြစ်၏။ တစ်နာရီလောက်ကြာသွား ပြီမို့ ဝေယံ စိတ်မရှည်နိုင်တော့။

ခပ်ဝဲဝဲ တိုင်းရင်းသူမလေး တစ်ဦး၏ သူမသိပ်လှပကြောင်း ချီးမွမ်းမှုအဆုံး ဝေယံပိုင် ပြုံးလိုက်ပြီး သစ်သားကုလားထိုင်ပေါ် ထိုင်စောင့်နေလိုက်သည်။

သူမလေးဝတ်ဆင်ထားသည့် ဝတ်စုံမှာ ပုံမှန်အိမ်နေဝတ်ကြသော ရိုးရာဝတ်စုံမျိုး မဟုတ်ဘဲ ပွဲလမ်းသဘင်တက် ဝတ်စုံဖြစ်၏။ ဝတ်စုံ အရောင်မှာ မဲနက်နက်မဟုတ်တော့ဘဲ နက်ပြာရောင်ဖြစ်ကာ ခေါင်းပေါင်းအနီရောင်လေး ပေါင်းထား၏။ ခေါင်းပေါင်းပေါ်တွင် ရိုးရာရွှေဆံထုံး ကြီးနှစ်ခုကို ဆင်ထားပြီး ကျက်သရေရှိမှုကို ပိုမိုထင်လွှင်စေသည်။
ဘယ်လောက်ပဲ ပြင်ဆင်ပါစေ ရုပ်ခံမရှိရင် အလကား ဆိုသလို သူမလေး၏ ရုပ်ခံလှပမှုကြောင့် ထိုရိုးရာဝတ်စုံမှာ သူမနှင့် အတော်ကိုအံဝင်ခွင်ကျ လှပနေ၏။ သူတစ်နာရီ ကျော်ကျော် စောင့်ဆိုင်းခဲ့ရတာ အကျိုးမမဲ့ခဲ့တော့ပေ။ မီးပုံပွဲ သွားဖို့သဘောတူလိုက်တာက သူမ၏ ဒီလိုမျိုး မကြုံစဖူးထူးခြားသည့်အပြင် အဆင်လှပမှုတောင်မကဘဲ သူမဆီမှ အနမ်းပွင့်ရာချီ ရပေအုံးမည်မို့ ဝေယံပိုင် ကြိတ်ကျေနပ်နေမိသည်။

အစိမ်းရောင် ကျားပေါင်း ခေါင်းပေါင်းကို လှမ်းပေးကာ သူမလေးပြောလိုက်သည်။ ထိုအချိန် ဝေယံခေါင်းကို ချက်ချင်းပင် ရမ်းလိုက်ပြီး..

"ဒီမှာကြည့် ကျွန်မလည်း ပေါင်းနေတာပဲလေ ရှင်မပေါင်းရင် ကြည့်ကောင်းမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး..”
သူမက သူမရဲ့ခေါင်းပေါ်က သပ်ရပ်စွာထုံးပေါင်းထားသည့် ခေါင်းပေါင်း ကိုလက်ညိုးထိုး ထိုးပြပြီး ပြောလိုက်သည် ။

ကလေးငယ်ကို ထမင်းစားဖို့ လိုက်ဖမ်းနေသည့် အမေတစ်ယောက်လို ရွှေခေတ်က သူ့ခင်ပွန်းပြေးသည့်နောက် လိုက်ဖမ်းပြီး ခေါင်းပေါင်း ပေါင်းရန် တကြော်ကြော် အော်နေလေ၏။
ထိုမြင်ကွင်းမှာ ခုနရွှေခေတ်ကို အလှပြင်ပေးနေသည့် ပျိုမေတို့အားလုံးအတွက် ပီယဆေးတစ်ခွက်လိုပင်။
သူမလေးတို့တစ်တွေ ပအိုဝ်းဘာသာ စကားဖြင့် ထိုလင်မယား တစ်ယောက်ကိုတစ်ယောက် မည်မျှချစ်ကြောင်း ပြောဆိုမွှန်းတင် နေကြတော့၏။

ရုတ်တရက် ကလေးမလေးနှစ်ယောက်က ရွှေခေတ်လက်ကို လာတွဲပြီး အတူတူလာကရန် ပူဆာလေတော့၏။ အပျော်လွန်နေသော ရွှေခေတ်မှာ လိုက်ကဖို့ တစ်ခါတည်း သွားတော့မလို လုပ်ပေမယ့်လည်း ဘေးက ခင်ပွန်းဖြစ်သူကို သတိရပြီး

ကလေးမလေး နှစ်ယောက်နောက်ကို ကပ်ပါသွားသော သူမလေးကို ကြည့်ပြီး ဝေယံ့မျက်နှာမှာ ကျေနပ်မှုအပြည့်။ သူမကို ပိုင်ဆိုင်ခွင့်ပေးခဲ့သော နတ်လူဟူသမျှကို အထူးတလည် ကျေးဇူးတင်နေမိသည်။

သူတို့တွေ မနက်စာကို တောင်ပေါ်လက်ရာ ဆိတ်သားဟင်းရည်နှင့် ချဥ်ပေါင်ရွက်ကြော်တို့ဖြင့် နစ်ပါးလိုက်ကြသည်။ ထိုအိမ်ရှင်၏ လက်ရာကောင်းသလား ဆိုသည်မှာ အစကစားဖို့ငြင်းနေသည့် နိုင်ငံခြားပြန် ဥက္ကဌကြီးတောင် ခေါင်းမဖော်နိုင်သည်အထိပင် စားနေရသည်။
