Chaapptteer thirty-three! :)

"Hurry up!"

"Okay, no need to get your knickers in a twist!" I shouted back while frantically making a grab for my clothes. Nora was shouting at me to hurry up since we were going to be late meeting the class for a little field trip - to a boring museum. "Gosh, what got up your butt and died?" I asked her sarcastically as I pulled my leather jacket on.

"Sorry, sorry, I had someone biting my ear off last night about your whereabouts... the guys think you went on a date with Zac." She stopped tying her shoelaces and looked up at me from her spot on the floor. "Did you?"

"Did I what?" I asked her, pretending to be ignorant to her question, clearly I was failing since she gave me a knowing look. I shrugged and pulled on my black lace up boots. "Honestly? I don't know what it was, how do I even know if he still likes me? It could have just been something between two really good friends."

"Really good friends, as in, two people dating... Listen, Mitchie, I think Tony's pissed you went out with Zac plus you ditched him after you know what happened and his brother is annoyed that he's near enough ruined your friendship and you won't talk to him... Talk to them, yeah? Sort it all out, I would hate to see your friendship ruined, you guys were really good friends."

I sighed and nodded my head. "Okay, Nora, thanks. You're a good friend, you know that?"

"Of course I am, you wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for me - what are sisters for?" I was startled she called us sisters but glad she did, I wanted to tell her that I thought of her as a sister a long time ago but I didn't want to blurt it out in a random conversation and have her thinking I was a freak.

"You think we're like sisters?" She nodded her head. "I'm glad we have like-wise minds," I told her with a laugh, she smiled and took my arm, leading us out the door.

"Hey, girls, on your way down?" Sean asked as he appeared next to me. I nodded my head and gave him a hug.

"Yup, your school going on a field trip too?"

"Unfortunately, how about you?" I nodded my head, again. "Where are you going?"

"History museum," I told him. "What about you?"

"Same, I bet we won't get to meet up though." He pouted and I poked his lip, giggling.

"Don't pout, if the wind-"

"Changes your face will get stuck like that," he finished, I poked my tongue out and he chuckled. "Don't worry, my mum use to say it to me all the time when I was a kid, it was like a motto to me growing up."

"Come on you two, I want to get there today!" Nora called from the elevator. "Hurry up the doors are about to close!"

"Press the button to keep them open then!" Sean shouted back, trying to stop himself from laughing. Nora was stupid sometimes; I wouldn't love her as much if she wasn't.

"Wanna beat her down there?" I asked him, hand extended for him to take.

He nodded his head with a grin on his face. "You bet."

We ran towards the stairs and made our way down, by the time we reached the bottom floor, we were out of breath and laughing our heads off. Nora stepped out the elevator looking very annoyed.

"You made me go in the lift with annoying adults. They kept talking loudly on their stupid little Bluetooth things, one man was saying naughty things to someone that didn't sound like his wife." She crossed her arms over her chest and sulked.

I pulled her into a hug, "aww! She looks so cute when she sulks."

"Thanks," she said sarcastically, I grinned and winked at her. Yup, definitely like sisters.

"Finally!" James huffed and fell back on the grass after our teacher dismissed us for lunch. "That was the longest field trip of my life."

"I think someone's exaggerating," Nora sang as she undid her ham sandwich. He shot her a look and she matched it with a wink, I didn't get those two - but I think they liked each other; I need to ask her later about that.

"I'm just glad we can finally eat," Tony said, sitting down next to his twin brother. "My stomach must have started rumbling at least half way round." He briefly looked at me before greeting everyone else. If this was how we were going to be from now on, I'm going to start to regret what happened.

"Hey, guys, glad I found you," Zac's voice appeared before his actual body did; he laid down and held a napkin up. "Did you see the girls over there?" There was a murmured agreement from the boys but I wasn't listening anymore, I was looking for my best friend - Sean was walking towards us with a girl next to him.

"Mitchie, where you going?" Nora asked as I stood up and began walking in the direction of a random cafe.

"Just to get a drink," I told her faintly, she smiled softly as she realized I was surrounded by the boys that were filling my mind.

I breathed a sigh of relief once I was sat in the back of the cafe, a coffee in front of me and no one bugging me. I rested my head on the table and listened to people entering and leaving the cafe, the little bell above the door chiming every so often. The cafe felt homely, like, if you were ever down or upset, you could come here and suddenly feel happy and have people around you that were cheery and happy.

"I thought I saw you coming in here," a voice said, I looked up at him, surprised to see someone my age in here - everyone must have been over forty, huddled in the corners or at the bar stools, chatting softly about their weeks so far.

"I think a lot of people saw me coming in here," I told him, a small smile plastered on my face.

"Are you alright? I noticed you weren't very happy."

I shrugged at his question. "I'm so-so, what about you?"

"So-so," he mimicked, smiling. I sighed, talk about whiplash keeping up with his moods.

"Why did you follow me in here?"

"To talk to you, well, and to do something else," he said, sighing. I gestured for him to continue you talking since it sounded like a but was going to follow his sentence. "I'm talking to you now, so that's one thing down." He sighed, again, and ran a hand down his face. "Let's take a walk," he extended his hand and I took it without question - a lot of things I do with him seem to be without me thinking about it, it's a habit just to agree to him.

We walked along the busy streets, his hand kept brushing against mine but I didn't take it like I wanted to. I could sense he wanted to do the same but restrained himself from doing so.

"Sooo..." I started, not knowing what to say. He took my coffee from my hand and took a sip. "Hey! I brought that."

"And I drunk some of it," he shrugged. "You're always doing it to me." He took out his iPod and gave me a headphone. Both of us walked down the street, listening to All Time Low, talking here and there about random things that clearly just filled the silence.

We came to the end of the street and we could either circle back and join our group or skip and visit the city. "Left or right?" He asked, leaving the choice up to me - spend the day with him or the school of students I couldn't handle right now?

"Right," I told him, taking him in the direction of the shops and city lights.

He grinned and took my hand. "Now, for what I wanted to do..."

I was about to ask him what he meant but he was already pressing his lips against mine. I smiled. I was shocked he was kissing me but I ignored all emotions and kissed him back - my day was going to get better.
