Chapter four.

We pulled up outside Tess's house forty minutes later, only because James wanted to stop for M&M's at the gas station. A random food item needed before a 'party' I know.

Her house was huge, I mean huge. It was like a white mansion, modern but it still had the victorian feel to it. I stepped out the car to be met by the ice cold air, maybe I should have brought a jacket. I felt a arm snake around my waist, I turned my head to come face to face with James. He was smiling at me, I couldn't bring myself to smile back, I know he apologized for what he did, but still.

I looked away from him, I didn't remove his arm nor did I pay attention to it. Tony was walking next to me, his hand brushing mine every few seconds; I bent my head, trying to hid my smile.

Robbie knocked on the door twice before I open to revel a very stunning looking Tess. Her dress was a deep lilac paired with silver chain necklaces and braclets and black high heels.

We walked into the house; music was blaring from speakers in her living room. Her house was amazing, it had the modern look, leather sofa's, big tv's glass cabnits. Amazing. On the leather sofa next to the garden door was two boys and four girls.

"Guys, this is Robbie, James, Tony and Mitchie," she pointed us all out, I smiled and waved. "You guys, this is Victoria, Phoebe, Nora, Amber, Zac and Josh." She pointed out each of them, all of them smiling brightly.

Victoria and Phoebe looked the exact same, same mousy brown hair and hazel eyes, their figures were slightly tall and skinny. Nora was a red head with soft blue-brown eyes. Amber had soft ginger hair that fell in curls down her back, blue eyes bright and shining.

Zac was tall, his legs were stretched out in front of him even though his back was against the back of the sofa, he had white - blonde hair; the whole skater style most boys had now days with ice blue eyes that stood out, his lip was piereced, a silver lip ring in place. And lastly Josh, he was a bit shorter than Zac, but more muscled, his brown hair was cut short, just slightly covering his ears and ruining the effect of his green eyes.

I moved away from James arm and walked over to the girls and guys. "Hey, as you know I'm Mitchie, nice to meet you guys."

They all smiled at me. "It's nice to meet you Mitchie," Zac said, standing up and taking my hand, lightly kissing it.

Phoebe rolled her eyes and pulled his sleeve. "Zac we want to be friends with these guys, hands off, okay?" It sounded more like a demand than a question.

He shook his head and laughed. "Don't worry, I won't do anything," he turned to me and winked.

Tony came and stood next to me, looking straight at Zac.

"Well! Tess, let's get the party started!" I said, trying to get Tony to move before he did anything. Tess smiled at me before taking James and Robbie's hand, pulling them with her out the door.

"C'mon guys, help me get some food out the kitchen!" She shouted over her shoulder. Tony looked at me before following his brothers and Tess out the door. The four girls stood up, following behind. Zac and Josh looked at me, smiling still.

"How old are you?" Josh asked, looking directly into my eyes, as if to catch a lie I was presumed to tell.

"I'm sixteen, how about you?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"I'm seventeen," he said before walking out the room.

"What about you pretty boy?" I asked Zac as he watched Josh leave.

"Pretty boy?" He raised his eyebrow, questionaly.

"Yes, pretty boy. Now answer my question," I said, smiling sweetly at me.

"Seventeen, like Josh," he said, looking at me. I nodded, "c'mon then, let's go help them with the stuff."

He grabbed my hand as I turned around. "Lets sort out the music, I can't listen to this annoying club music all night." He had a point, the beat was going through my head. I nodded as he pulled me towards the stereo near the back of the room. "What sort of music do you like, little lady?" Zac asked me, going through the CD collection.

I shrugged, "pop-punk, rock, alternative, stuff like that I guess."

He stopped with the CD's and looked at me, "little blondey likes that type of music?" I narrowed my eyes and nodded. "Really? You just don't seem the...type, to listen to that sort of music," he said smiling at me, carrying on with looking through the CD's. I wasn't the type?

"What do you mean?"

"You seem like you would be into all that new pop crap that's in the charts these days," he said, shrugging one shoulder.

"Well, I'm not, pretty boy, I'm not really like people think I am," I replied, sitting crossed legged on the floor next to him. When most people saw me, they thought I was a cheerleader bitch who wants everyone to love her, when in fact I was more on the emo/skater side of life.

"Well, little lady, I guess I was wrong, sorry." He smirked before going over to his hoodie on the sofa, pulling out his iPod Touch. He dropped onto the floor next to me, "let us see if you like the same music as me."

Giving me an ear bud; Save It For The Bedroom by You Me At Six filled my ears.

"Oh my gosh! I love this song!" I laughed and begun to sing along. He laughed at me before joining in. It felt like we we're old friends, he seemed pretty easy to get along with and he had the best taste in music if he listened to You Me At Six.

"Okay, what about..." The Blackout's song 'It's A High Tide Baby' came on, I looked at him and smiled.

"Well, pretty boy, if all your music is like this; we have a lot in common," I laughed and nudged him. We spent the next half an hour listening to his iPod, I stood up and held out my hand. "Either they forgot about us or they are trying to find us in this big house," I joked as I pulled him up.

"Let us go find them then," he said winking. He led us out the room, through the hallway to the kitchen, it was empty.

"Next place to look pretty boy?" I asked him, looking around the kitchen. Tapping his chin he walked to the fridge, "well, they aren't in here, but there is some bottles of coke. Reckon she would mind if we took some for our adventure?"

I looked at him, "you're asking me? I've not even known her that long."

He nodded and pulled out two bottles, "catch." I nearly missed the bottle that was thrown at my head, I narrowed my eyes at his smirk.

"C'mon little lady, off to search for the missing party," he grabbed my hand and pulled me out the kitchen.

We looked in the garden, Tess's bedroom, her parents bedroom, the two guestrooms and the second living room on the other side of the house.

"Okay, this is the last room I'm looking in, this house is too big!" I said moaning to him while he opened a door. My eyes widened when I realised it was a indoor pool, "oh my gosh, seriously?!"

He laughed, taking my hand he walked into the room, looking around. He wiggled his eyebrows, "fancy a dive?"

I laughed at his face, "I don't know..."

"Aw, little lady scared?" He teased.

"No, it's jus-" before I finished he had picked me up and was running for the pool. I screamed as he jumped. I broke the surface and looked for him, I felt something on my leg. I tried to swim but it was holding onto my ankle.

"Let go, let go!" I shouted.

Zac surfaced the water, "gotcha."

I slapped his shoulder, "dude, not cool!"

"You so know it was," he laughed at my scowl, "I'm sorry little lady, forgive me?" He was making a puppy dog face, I smiled, "I got you to smile, I'm off the hook!"

Swimming around me; he was cheering. I couldn't help laughing at him. I grabbed his hand and started to swim, "well little lady, this has been fun."

There was a clock on the wall at the end of the pool, I had arrived just over three hours ago and have been with Zac for two and half hours.

"Hey, Zac?"

"Hey, Mitchie?" He said, mimicking me.

"You know we lost them lot over two and a half hours ago?"

He looked shocked. "Really?" I nodded and he ran a hand through his hair. "Want to go find them?" He asked me, looking at the coke bottles that were dropped on the floor near the door.

"I don't mind... staying here for a little while longer." He smiled and we carried on swimming.

An hour later; I had my legs wrapped around Zac's waist and my arms around his neck, he was swimming up and down the pool with me on his back. I was laughing and when I heard a noise coming from the door. My converse, Zac's shoes and his trousers were next to the door, blocking it if needed to be opened.

"I think you should move your trousers, I think I found our friends," I joked with him.

He swam to the edge of the pool, letting me get out. I looked at my drying converse and socks, I shrugged and pulled them on. I heard him getting out the pool and pull his trousers and shoes on. There were voices down the hall.

"I'm starting to think they were looking for us at the same time we were looking for them," Zac said, flicking his hair back and forth a few times.

I looked at him, I had to admit he was really hot. His lip ring made him look bad boy but still very sexy. I shook my head mentally and walked over to him. "Oh well, I had fun." I winked at him.

He laughed and put an arm over my shoulders, I shrugged it off and poked him in the stomach. He moved, ah he is ticklish. I touched his side again, he moved away -again.

"A weakness!" I went to tickle him again, he dodged me and ran, I chased after him, just missing falling in the pool. I got to him and tickled his sides, he started laughing, "no, please stop!"

I giggled and carried on, I suddenly heard the door open. Instead of turning around I slipped on the water we splashed and fell into the pool, dragging him with me.

I surfaced the water, shaking my hair out my face. I looked towards the door, noticing Tess, the four girls, Josh and Robbie. I felt Zac behind me, he swam forward and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"I can't believe that! We just got out," he said, squeezing my shoulder. I nudged him and he followed my gaze, looking at our little crowd. I heard a loud noise then I looked from Zac to the edge of the pool. Coming face to face with two angry twin brothers.
