What did he do?, Troy thought as he laid on his bed. Was that Orion's nice way of saying he didn't want to be with him?. A single tear rolled down his cheek as he tried to forget want happened

Troys mother arrived home from work, she called out her son's name before finding him, crying holding onto one of his pillows. Louie on the other hand was quietly licking his right leg on the ground beside the bed.

"Bub?" Mrs Borrows questioned "it isn't like you to cry like this, I know you're not okay" she placed her hand onto Troys back

"I-i didn't know what I did wrong" he cried "t-they could of just told me they didn't like me"

"Who doesn't like you?" She cooled,

Troy tighten his grip on the pillow, it's his mum, she might as well me the right person to tell "I told my crush I had feelings for them, they just told me it wasn't me but them"

It's not you, it's me Orion's words replayed in his head, why couldn't he just straight up tell him he didn't like him, that made him mad. His mum just sighed and stroked him

"It'll get better, don't let one rejection let you down, who was it anyway?"

Troy looked at her with his glassy eyes, he gained her trust about this "O-Orion"

"Orion?" She questioned "isn't that the new boy you hang out with? I mean, you never told me you were into guys Troy-"

"It's just a stupid crush I got on him, i can't get him out of my head, the way he looks, the way he speaks, all I just want to do is to be in his arms and hear him tell me he loves me!" He yelled "but no, he rejected me"

"Look, Troy, sweetie, it's just a crush, it won't matter it a years time, I know you're heartbroken at the moment but please, don't get too worked up about it" she insured him

"But I can't stop thinking about him mum!" He cried

"You're love sick" she chuckled "I remember how I was like that, I'm going to start to get dinner ready, go take a hot shower, you'll feel a lot better"

"I will" Troy watched his mum walk out of his room. She was right, maybe a shower and a fresh pair of clothes might help. He remembered what she said about him being love sick, he would of disagreed with her if he didn't spend half an hour crying over a boy.

Troy found himself sitting around a table with Emma talking to him on one side and Jake on the other, Gia was happily reading a assigned book for English Ignoring what the others have to say.

"So he rejected you" Emma questioned

"But you called up saying they were at the park alone?" Jake said to her

"They came back with Orion going off saying Troy was sick!"

"Guys"" Troy stepped in "please can we stop talking about it, yesterday didn't do to plan and I'm pretty sure he hates me"

"Oh Troy don't be like that" Emma cooled "maybe this was Orion's first time being asked out and he didn't know know to act"

"Or he's straight" Jake chuckled, Emma shot him a look and he was silent

"Can we not talk about Orion, I really just want to put yesterday out of my mind" Troy pleaded, both teenagers sighed.

"We just want to know Troy, we're your friends" she told him "if you ever want to talk to us about anything you can"

"It's just too soon to be talking about it, I've never been rejected before that's all" he sighed

"It'll get better, one day you'll meet another guy, or girl that'll brighten up your world and you'll forget all about Orion and his dumbass ways of saying he's not interested" Jake smirked wrapping his arm around his shoulder "if I was gay I would tots date you"

"I'm not gay Jake" Troy confirmed "I'm bisexual"

"Oh now you admit it" he laughed "say, apparently Gala likes you, maybe give her a shot?"

"Gala?, she's nice and all, but she can be, a bit um, she's perfectly fine with me but she gets bitchy with other people" Troy said

"Well she's kinder hot doe" he winked, Emma just rolled her eyes, Gia just kept reading her look with the once and a while look "glasses are in this year, just ask Emma"

"Jake!" She exclaimed

"I'm joking, I know for a fact Noah has a nice personality, you know if he isn't so caught up doing stuff and not sitting with us" he groaned

"The bells about to ring anyway, let's go get our stuff for the lockers and head to class" Gia spoke

"Now she speaks" Jake joked as they stood up and walked off.
