Right now, Shasa was high in the sky in a private airplane, those onboard are Shasa, Shards, Valt, Rantaro, Shu, Lane, Free and Aiger. The bladers who are participating in the second round. Lane was cleaning his beyblade while Valt and Shu were sitting next to each on the plane, talking and Rantaro was arguing with Free who looked asleep, Aiger was on the phone, talking with Ranjiro and Shasa and Shards were sitting next to each other on the plane.

The bladers got full-good meals to prepare them for the battles that are coming up, Shasa was holding Shards's new bey.

"Woah...it looks way cooler up-close." Shasa admired and gave her friend her beyblade back.

"Thanks, I hope we get to face each other soon, I just wanna see who's better between the two of us." Shards said with a smirk and Shasa smirked back.

"Sorry, but if we ever face off, I'm gonna win." Shasa said and before Shards can respond, Rantaro inturrupted.

"Oh look! We're here!"

Everybody looked out of the window to see the GT Arena coming into sight of the plane and everyone had a smile on their face, even Lane.

"Haven't battled here in quite some time." Valt said

Soon the plane has landed and everyone walked out of the airport, the second round is going to begin soon, so all of the bladers quickly went into the hotel rooms which the WBBA rented for them and rested for a few minutes until they finally went all together to the arena.

"ALRIGHT BOYS AND GIRLS! Welcome to the second round of the Beyblade League! We're now getting into the middle way of the tournament and the competing bladers left are...Valt Aoi, Shasa Guten, Aiger Akabane, Shu Kurenai, Shards Shirosago, Rantaro Kiyama, Free De La Hoya and Lean Valhalla!" Hanami announced which got the crowd to cheer loudly.

"And now, it's time to reveal the upcoming matches!" Hanami announced and everyone looked up at the screens to see the photos of the remaining bladers left in the league, spinning around. Shasa gulped a little bit as she heard the crowd saying "ooooh", interested to see who will face who. Shasa was a bit nervous to see who she was going up against. After a couple more seconds, the screen has shown the matchups.

Shasa's eyes widened. She was facing Shards in the second match, Shasa looked at Shards who smirked at her.

Shu looked back at Rantaro who was grinning at him and Shu smiled back.

Aiger frowned a little bit at his opponent but smiled nonetheless and Lane smiled with his eyes closed.

Valt grinned at Free and Free looked back at Valt with a cool smile

"Oh wow! Looks like we've got some interesting matchups! But without a further-a-do, let the battles begin!!!" Hanami said and the entire crowd cheered loudly this time.

Soon, two side platforms were rising.

"In the red corner, here we have the number fifteen, legendary blader, the man of men! Rantaro Kiyama!" Hanami announced and Rantaro was shown, showing off his fan and grinning.

"And in the blue corner! He is apart of the supreme five back in Japan. He's our second legendary blader. The crimson flame! Shu Kurenai!" Shu Kurenai was then shown with a smile on his face.

Shu and Rantaro walked up to the stadium and smiled at each other. Both of them were apart of the same beyblade club and are good friends. So facing each other in a big event like this was exciting.

"Oooh man! I don't know who to root for!" Valt said with an exciting grin, it was difficult for who Valt should cheer for. Both Shu and Rantaro were Valt's best friends.

Shasa giggled at Valt's excitement and looked back at the arena. She was really interested on how Rantaro is gonna take on such a strong blader.

"Shu! We may be best friends and all, but none of that matters in the stadium. Glide Ragnaruk and I are gonna show you just how far we've come!" Rantaro said as he held up his bey with a grin. Shu smiled at his friend and responded:

"That's true, but I'm gonna let you know, I won't be holding back and I hope you don't plan on dong so. My World Spriggan will take on anything you've got!" Shu said as he held up his beyblade.

"The battle will be up to three points! Burst finishes will count as two points and over and survivor finishes will be up to one point!" The referee said and threw his hand down to the stadium.

"First Battle!"

Both friendly bladers got into their launching positions.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" Both bladers pulled the thread as hard as they could as did lightning launches and both of they beyblades hit the stadium with heavy weight.

"Alright, Ragnaruk! Time to show him what we've got!" Rantaro yelled and Ragnaruk quickly caught itself in the storm plate and gained an immense amount of speed and raced towards Spriggan.

"Glide Tornado!" And Ragnaruk spawned a tornado which caught Spriggan in a tailspin. Right now, Ragnaruk was able to suck Spriggan into the tornado and send it into the air.

"Send it flying!" Rantaro yelled, he knew it was hard to burst Spriggan, so he wants to start this off by getting at least one point, to which he succeeded. Spriggan has been sent out of the stadium.

"Glide Ragnaruk with an over finish! Rantaro Kiyama earns one point! The score is 0-1!"

The crowd has cheered for the man of men who showed off his fan. Shu placed on hand on his side with a smile.

"How'd ya like that, Shu?" Rantaro asked as he held up Glide Ragnaruk. Shu just smirked back.

"Good move, but you'll have to do a lot better than that." Shu said as he switched Spriggan to have a free-spin chassis.

He's going with free spin? Rantaro thought to himself, he wondered what Shu was gonna come at him with.

"Second Battle!"

Both bladers got into their launching positions again.

Silence

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" Lightning launches were pulled and both beyblades hit the stadium heavily.

"Glide Tornado!" Rantaro quickly used his special move and created a tornado, and raced towards the storm plate. Ragnaruk quickly gained speed and shot itself towards Spriggan who quickly got sent into the air by the tornado.

"Spriggan!" Shu yelled and Spriggan flew down and hit the stadium walls and back into the stadium. Rantaro gritted his teeth a little bit in frustration.

Spriggan quickly recovered and raced towards the storm plate which caused him to gain speed and raced back towards Rangaruk.

CLASH

Ragnaruk has now been sent into the air and landed back on the stadium but was now wobbling.

"No way! Rangaruk! Quick, get to the storm plate!" Ragnaruk commanded and Ragnaruk was slowly wobbling to the storm plate, the only way for him to recover is gain speed and regain balance.

"Oh no, you don't! Now Spriggan, World Slash!" Shu yelled out his special move and Spriggan quickly raced up and down the ramp to gain speed and-

BURST

Rantaro's eyes widened as he saw Glide Ragnaruk burst in the air.

"World Spriggan with a burst finish! Shu Kurenai wins two points! The score is 2-1!"

The crowd was now cheering the crimson flame blader and Shu picked his bey up with a smile.

"That was awesome!" Aiger said with a huge grin.

Valt and Lane were looking down at the match with a smile, and Shasa was admiring the strength of Shu and World Spriggan.

Rantaro placed his beyblade back together and looked up at Shu with a smile.

"Nice one, Shu! But you won't get me on the next battle! Cause I'm gonna burst you!" Rantaro said and showed his Glide Ragnaruk with his aura surrounding him.

"I'd like to see you try! Now, let's finish this!" Shu said as he held up World Spriggan with his aura surrounding him.

"Third Battle!"

Shu switched his beyblade into left-spin mode with a solid-spin chassis.

Both bladers got into their launching positions with a smile on their face.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" Lightning launches were seen and the beyblades hit the stadium heavily.

"Alright! Let's go!" Rantaro yelled and Rangaruk quickly gained speed from the storm plate and shot itself towards Spriggan.

"Don't let him! World Spin!" Shu called out a special move and Spriggan used it's chassis to defend itself from the attack which pushed Ragnaruk back to hit the stadium walls.

"Don't let it recover! World Slash!" Shu yelled and the sides of the World ring glowed and Spriggan spun towards Ragnaruk.

"Stop it with Glide Tornado!" A tornado appeared from Gilde Tornado, World Spriggan tried to attack but got sucked in tide by the tornado.

"Alright!" Rantaro yelled as he pumped up a fist as Shu gritted his teeth in shock.

"Now! Mach Tornado!" Rantaro yelled and Ragnaruk gained speed around the stadium and a gust of huge winds appeared in front of Ragnaruk. Ragnaruk was now spinning at high-speeds of the stadium while carrying Spriggan in the air.

"Knock it outta there!" Rantaro yelled, and when Ragnaruk was about to throw Spriggan out, Shu acted fast.

"SPRIGGAN!" Shu yelled as his red aura surrounded him and his bey, summoning World Spriggans avatar. With their resonance all powered up, Spriggan began pushing through the tornado slowly, making it's way down to Ragnaruk.

"Say what!?" Rantaro screamed, shocked by what was happening.

"WORLD SLASH!" Shu yelled his special move.

"RAGNARUK!" Rantaro yelled out while crushing his lollipop as his orange aura surrounded him and his beyblade, causing him to summon Glide Ragnaruks avatar.

"GLIDE TORNADO!" Rantaro yelled.

Spriggan and Ragnaruk made collisions, making a huge explosion.

Rantaro gasped as he saw the three parts of Ragnaruk fly past him.

"World Spriggan with a burst finish! The score is 4-1! Shu Kurenai is the winner!"

Everyone cheered for Shu Kurenai, who showed off his scar with a warm smile.

"Nice one, Shu!" Valt cheered.

"Awesome battle!" Aiger cheered with Valt

Shasa was definitely right, Shu was definitely stronger than he was back then.

Shu walked up to Rantaro who placed his bey back together and stood up to face Shu with a smile.

"I had fun, Rantaro," Shu said as he stuck out his hand, "Until next time we battle, you better get stronger." Shu said with a smile, and Rantaro smiled back with laugh.

"Sure! But next time, I'll win though. Sorry, not sorry." Rantaro said as he accepted Shu Kurenai's handshake.

"Alright folks! It's now confirmed that Shu Kurenai is heading over to the semi-finals!" Hanami announced, making everyone else cheer.

"Shasa?"

Shasa looked over at Valt, who was smiling at her.

"It's your turn now, win it." Valt said as he stuck out his fist, which made Shasa smile and blush lightly but she was able to hide it from him. Shasa fist bumped Valt back and stood up.

"No worries, I got this." Shasa said as he ran off, as Shards ran off towards the other direction.

"Shasa versus Shards, huh? Who do you think will win?" Aiger asked as he turned to Valt.

"Both of them are really strong, but to be honest, I'm not really sure. It's unpredictable at that point." Valt said, but deep down inside, Valt was mostly convinced that Shasa would win the match, but it's true of what he said. The match seems unpredictable.

"Alright boys and girls! It's time to start our second battle of the second round!" Hanami announced and everyone began to cheer.

"In the red corner, she's made her way to the top by taking on legendary bladers here and out! It's our energy blue flame, Shasa Guten!" The platform raised as Shasa appeared with a serious look on her face as everyone cheered for Shasa.

"And in the blue corner. She has proven her strength in the first round, but can she keep it up!? It's our Asia Female Champion, Shards Shirosago!" Shards appeared and everyone cheered, having the same serious face.

Both bladers walked up to the stadium

"Finally, we get to battle again." Shasa said with a smirk and Shards smirked right back.

"Yeah, it's been quite some time after our last battle." Shards said and Shasa smiled back.

"Yeah, this battles gonna decide which one of us is stronger." Shasa said

"And who gets to go to the semi-finals." Shards finished.

"Surge Saturn and I will take you down!" Shasa said as she held up her bey.

"Corrupt Sadryn and I will be sure to shatter your bey to pieces." Shards said she held up her beyblade.

"First Battle!"

Both bladers got into their launching positions.

Were friends on the outside Shards thought.

But not on the inside of the ring Shasa finished.

"Ready? Set!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!!!" Both bladers pulled of lightning launches and both beyblades landed heavily on the stadium and immediately, both of them raced right past each other.

"Come on, Saturn!" Shasa yelled out and Saturn quickly raced towards the storm plate.

"Oh no you won't! Sadryn!" Shards yelled and Sadryn quickly followed up by racing towards the storm plate too.

"Corrupt Launch!"

"Limit Break: Surge!"

Both beyblades got caught in the storm but the spin speed didn't affect them as they pushed through and collided in the center, both of them spinning around because of the plate. The collision caused an explosion which made both beyblades fly back and hit the stadium walls and spin on the the upper deck.

You were really able to defend against my Corrupt Launch. You really are the ultimate rival for me, Shards thought with a smile but then frowned, But you haven't seen anything yet. It's time I end things off.

"Sadryn!" Shards yelled as Sadryn jumped from the other deck and raced towards the storm plate.

"Here it comes!" Shasa warned her partner. Sadryn gained speed at the storm plate and shot itself towards Saturn, causing both beyblades to collide, pushing Saturn back and launching a barrage of attacks.

"Sadryn is firing away! Saturn has nowhere to run!" Hanami commentated on the battle.

Shasa gritted her teeth in frustration, She just won't let up

"Tear her bey apart!" Shards screamed

"Oh man, Shards has her on the ropes." Aiger said, sweating a little bit.

"Just wait, Shasa's getting started." Valt said with a confident smile.

"Now! Corrupt Crush!"

This attack brought Saturn into a collision with the wall and onto the upper deck, wobbling slowly.

"I've had enough of this! Attack all you want, Saturn and I will push you right back!" Shasa said as her flare surrounded her and her beyblade as she screamed:

"SATURN!" This caused her beys avatar to being summoned and her beyblade back on balance

"Give 'em your Surge Slash!" Shasa called out and Saturn jumped from the upper deck and collided with Sadryn, knocking it back, hitting the stadium walls.

"Time for me to get serious too! SADRYN!" Shards powered up as her aura surrounded her and her beyblade, summoning Corrupt Sadryns avatar.

"TAKE THEM DOWN!" Both bladers yelled

Both beyblades collided on a huge impact. The power was too strong to withstand, which made both beyblades pull away from each other into the air.

Both bladers gritted their teeth and gasped when they saw both beyblades hit the stadium floor.

"Simultaneous Over Finish! Draw!" The referee announced, everyone then cheered for both bladers.

"Wow! This battle is getting crazy! For the first battle, we have a draw! Neither of them are giving any ground!" Hanami said outloud.

Man...she's sure gotten stronger, It feels like I have come into clutch in order to save myself. Shasa thought as she looked at her beyblade.

"Hm?" Shasa looked closely at her beyblade which began to shine

Saturn comferted her partner and left, only for Shasa to smirk.

"Yeah." Shasa whispered, agreeing with her bey.

"Second Battle!"

Shasa took apart her beyblade and switched her disc onto a free-spinning mode with her driver on attack.

"She rotated her disc." Free said.

"Yeah, I guess she want's to end this round fast." Shu said with his arms crossed.

"Guess you're not backing down, huh? You'll know you will never beat me." Shards said with a smile as she held up her bey which only made Shasa smile back.

"Well you'll never know until you try, huh?" Shasa asked.

Both bladers finally got into their launching positions.

"Ready? Set!"

"GO, SHOOT!!!" Both bladers launched as hard as they could, pulling of lightning launches as both beyblades hit the stadium heavily.

"Let's do this! Sadryn!"

"Saturn!"

Both beyblades raced towards the storm plate and gained an immense amount of speed, the storm plate caused both of their movements to change but didn't change the fact that they were sending a barrage of attacks towards each other.

"Push through! Surge Launch!" Shasa yelled and Saturn began pushing Sadryn back with the barrage of attacks it keeps sending towards it.

"Take it out! Corrupt Slash!" Shards yelled out a special move and it's dragon heads were glowing, about to collide with Saturn.

"I saw that coming from a mile away! Surge Spin!" Shasa yelled out as her disc glowed a blue light as the beyblade bent over, causing the dragon heads to collide with the disc and defend itself from the attack.

"Alright!"

"What!?"

"SATURN!" Shasa powered up with her flare surrounding her and her beyblade.

"Let's go, Saturn!"

Saturn began to press the attack once more.

"I'm not gonna lose here! Not ever! SADRYN!" Shards yelled as her aura surrounded her and her beyblade.

Both beyblades jumped on the upper deck and raced towards each other on the tip of the ramp.

"LIMIT BREAK: CORRUPTION!"

"We've got her! Parry it! Surge Defense!"

Shasa gasped as she saw Saturn burst right in front of her eyes.

"Corrupt Sadryn with a burst finish! Shards Shirosago wins! The score is 2-0!"

The crowd began to cheer.

"Man! That was such an awesome battle!" Aiger said.

"Yeah it was!" Valt said with a smile, but then frowned a little bit, So Shasa, what're you gonna plan next?

I should've expected this. Knowing Shards, she's all kind of surprises. Sadryns attack power is through the roof. Shasa thought to herself as she took apart her beyblade again. This time, she rotated her disc into a solid spin mode.

"But it doesn't matter...no matter what kind of bey it is, Saturn and I will prove to everyone...that we're the strongest in the world." Shasa whispered.

"Third Battle!"

Both bladers got into their launching positions, not saying a thing.
