Shasa watched as she saw Dante, Free and Lane walking down to the stadium, it was now time for the finale of the first round!

"Alrighty folks! For our last battle, we have a three-way battle royal! Featuring these bladers! Dante Koryu, Lane Valhalla and Free De La Hoya!" Hanami announced and the crowd cheered for these three legendary bladers.

After Dante, Free and Lane walked up to the stadium and got in opposite sides, Hanami announced;

"Here's how this is going to work! Only two bladers will be able to participate in the second round! The first blader to reach three points will move on, and out of the rest of the two bladers, we'll compare their points and the one who's higher will move on as well!" Hanami explained.

"First Battle!" The referee announced and all three bladers got into their launching positions.

"Time to get serious, Dragon!" Dante told his partner.

"Free and Dante! Prepare to face the light of my flare!" Lane said with a smirking grin. Free smiled and said:

"We'll see."

Everyone waited in silence for the match to start.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" All three bladers launched their beys with lightning coming out of their launches and the heaviness of the three blades caused the stadium to shake.

"Here we go, Dragon!" Dante yelled out and Dragon quickly raced to collide with Lucifer.

"Come at me! End Wall!" Lane yelled and a whole glowing circle surrounded the ring of Lucifer as it was able to deflect Dragons assault.

"Mirage Claw!" Free yelled out a special move.

CLASH

Lucifer now has been sent into the air and Free quickly transitioned on focus to take out Dante.

"Nothing Break!" Free yelled as the nothing driver compressed down and Fafnir sped up right towards Tempest Dragon.

CLASH

Dante smirked to Free's confusion and saw that the blades from the Tempest Ring has extended out, causing Dragon to enter it's awakening form.

"Tempest Break!" Dante pulled back his fists and shot towards them.

An explosion surrounded the stadium and Fafnir has been pushed back to hit the stadium walls and out of the stadium.

"What?" Free asked, surprised by the sudden outcome.

"LIMIT BREAK: THE END!" Lane yelled out a special move as Dante gasped as he saw Lucifer fly straight towards Dragon.

"DRAGON!" Dante powered up. summoning Tempest Dragon's avatar with his aura surrounding him and his bey.

Dragon quickly raced towards the storm plate, causing Lucifer to hit the storm plate and miss.

"What!?" Lane yelled out, also surprised by what happened and the storm plate caused Dragon to quickly shoot itself towards Lucifer.

"DOUBLE BOUND!" Dante yelled as he yelled out another special move.

CLASH

Lane gasped as he saw Lucifer burst right in front of his eyes and out of the stadium. The referee raised his hand towards Dante.

"Tempest Dragon is the winner! Dante Koryu wins! The score is 1-0-0!"

The crowd was cheering for their dragon blader.

"ALRIGHT!" Dante cheered, as he was happy to take the first round.

"Alright! Way to show 'em, Dante!" Aiger yelled as he pumped his fist out.

Shasa grinned, Dante was even stronger than the last time he battle her, there may be a chance where Dante can win this.

"Lane and Free won't go down without a fight, Dante has to really rise up in the next battle." Valt said with his arms crossed.

He predicted our movements and acted fast on it, that's a true blader Free thought to himself as he changed the chassis in counter mode on his Fafnir.

"Second Battle!"

All three bladers got back into their launching positions as they stared down at each other heavily.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" All three bladers pulled of lightning launches and the beys landed heavily on the stadium.

Both Dragon and Fafnir are racing each other towards the storm plate while Lucfer is on the outer edge of the stadium.

"Dragon! Take Fafnir out!"

"Show them the meaning of true power, Fafnir!"

Both beyblades sped up on the storm plate and collided in the center and have been pushed back.

Lane let out a scream as Lucifer raced up towards the ramp, using it to gain more speed which took both bladers off guard.

"Take 'em out! LUCIFER!" Lane powered up with his flare surrounding him as well as summoning his beys avatar and a purple flare surrounding his beyblade too.

"Ending Disaster!"

CLASH

A huge explosion filled the stadium and both Free and Dante widened their eyes at the sight of their beys being bursted in thin air.

"Lucifer The End is the winner! Lane Valhalla wins! The score is 1-1-0!" The referee announced

Everyone went silent to the match.

"You've gotta be kidding!" Ranjiro said, with a sweat drop running down his face.

"That's incredible." Aiger admired the strength

"He was able to take Free and Dante out with a single move?" Rantaro asked, he knew Lane was powerful but not that powerful.

"It shows just how strong his Flare can grow." Shu said with a smile

"Third Battle!"

Free decided to keep his beyblade in counter mode, his first intention is to take out Lucifer and focus on Dragon next.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" Lightning launches were seen and the three beyblades heavily landed on the stadium and began spinning.

Dragon quickly took advantage and spun up the ramp, along with Lucifer doing the same thing on the opposite side and then both beyblades are coming in for a collision course on the top peak of the ramp.

"Limit Break: The End!"

"Tempest Break!"

CLASH

Neither bey was giving.

"Lucifer! Destroy Dragon!" Lane yelled

"Beat 'im good, Dragon!" Dante yelled

The clash intensified as purple lightning began to shoot out of the stadium and caused both beyblades to shoot back down but they recovered and Lucifer and Dragon raced back towards the ramp, seeking revenge.

"Ending Disaster!"

"Double Bound!"

CLASH

"FAFNIR!" Free yelled and Fafnir quickly took advantage of the upcoming event and sped right towards the storm plate and before it was able to shoot itself out, Free yelled.

"NOW! STORM BREAK!" Free yelled a new special move and the nothing driver compressed down along with the storm plate spinning and in a flash, Fafnir disappeared much to Dante and Lane's surprise as they saw Fafnir racing up the slope and right towards Dragon and Lucifer.

CLASH

A huge explosion occurred for one second before Lucifer and Dragon bursted.

"Mirage Fafnir is the winner! Free De La Hoya wins! The score is 1-1-1!" The crowd cheered for the high school prodigy!

"OH YEAH! Now the score has been tied up! The match is getting intense!" Hanami yelled, getting the people more excited.

"W-What was that?" Silas asked, surprised by the change in Fafnir's movements.

"He combined Nothing Break with the storm plate. When Nothing compresses down, the power and speed of the storm plate is like a huge boost of power, technically an upgrade, powering Fafnir up." Valt explained with a smile.

"Man, that's one powerful attack." Rantaro said.

Dante frowned, he started off strong and then lost in the next battle, he needs to earn three points in order to be guaranteed to move onto the second round.

"Fourth Battle!"

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" All three bladers pulled of lightning launches and all three beyblades landed heavily on the stadium.

All three beyblades raced towards the storm plate and raced paced to collide in the center.

"TAKE THEM DOWN!" All three bladers yelled and all three blades collided in the stadium, creating a huge explosion.

Neither bey was letting up.

"TEMPEST BREAK!"

"MIRAGE CLAW!"

"LIMIT BREAK: THE END!"

The explosion intensified and neither beyblade giving the chance to be overpowered and all three beyblades have been sent into the air and all of their eyes widened as they saw all three beyblades burst in the air.

The three bladers looked at the referee who was looking in the air and watched the beyblades fall on the stadium.

Silence

Then, the referee raised his hand towards Free.

"Mirage Fafnir is the winner! Free De La Hoya wins! The score is 1-1-2!"

The crowd was cheering, now Free was in the lead. Free had a smile on his face as he looked at his bey. Just one more win and Free will be guaranteed to move onto the second round.

Lane gritted his teeth a little bit, he was able to defeat Free in New York, but now, he was being bested by him, he needs to find a way to counter Mirage Fafnir and take out Tempest Dragon at the same time, then...Lane came with an idea.

"Fifth Battle!" The referee announced, and all three bladers got into their launching positions.

"Ready? Set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"GO, SHOOT!" All three bladers pulled of lightning launches and all three beyblades heavily landed on the stadium.

"Dragon Shoot!" Dante yelled and Dragon quickly raced towards the storm plate and gained speed and collided with Fafnir, sending it into the air.

"Alright!" Dante cheered as he gripped his fist. Free smiled, it was gonna take way more than that to take down Fafnir.

Fafnir began to fly down right towards Dragon and quickly, the nothing driver compressed on Dragon, Dante quickly widened his eyes and yelled:

"DRAGON!"

"NOTHING BREAK!"

Dragon was able to get itself onto the storm plate and Fafnir's driver fully compressed.

KA-BOOM

All three of the bladers eyes widened as Fafnir and Dragon have been sent out of the stadium, hitting the floors.

Silence

Everyone was taking in on what happened, the impact caused Dragon and Fafnir to fly out of the stadium, with Lucifer still spinning.

"Lucifer The End is the winner! Lane Valhalla wins! The score is 1-2-2!"

Everyone was silent and the legendary bladers sweated a little bit.

"WHAT!?!?! No way! That match seemed to have lasted less than a minute and now Lane has caught up with Free De La Hoya!" Hanami announced, shocked by the results. Everyone began to cheer slowly.

Lane was mostly surprised, but gritted his teeth, he felt like he won that battle out of sheer luck. He frowned at Free while Dante made a scary face.

"Sixth Battle!"

Free switched his Fafnir into absorb mode.

Lane locked in his beyblade to his launcher.

Dante raised his launcher up to his head.

I'm gonna win!

"Ready? Set!"

"3!" Free slid his leg back, No matter what happens...

"2!" Lane jumped forward to catch his launcher, I don't care how strong they are...

"1!" Dante threw his body forth and gripped his launcher, At the outcome of this battle...

"GO, SHOOT!" Lightning Launches were pulled I'M GONNA WIN!

All three beyblades landed heavily on the stadium.

"Let's go! Dragon!" Dante yelled and Dragon gained speed by going to into the storm plate and gaining speed, and raced towards Lucifer.

"Double Bound!"

CLASH

Lucifer has been sent into the air and Fafnir was racing up and down the ramp.

"Nothing Break!" Nothing compressed and Fafnir hit the top of the stadium edge and was flying right towards Lucifer.

"Mirage Claw!"

"Ending Wall!"

CLASH

Mirage Fafnir has been blown back and landed on the stadium, along with Lucifer falling down. Fafnir began wobbling and hoping to regain strength and the storm plate.

"Don't let them! Dragon Shoot!" Dante yelled and using the power of the storm plate, Dragon was sending a barrage of attacks towards nothing but was hitting Lucifer from above, not letting it hit the stadium. Not only that, but it sending attacks towards Fafnir, pushing it further away from the storm plate, not letting recover.

Both Free and Lane were surprised, Dante wasn't letting neither bey to recover.

"DRAGON!" Dante powered up as he summoned his beys avatar and has a light blue and white aura surrounding him and Dragon.

CLASH

One more clash with Fafnir, was able to extend the wing blades off of Dragons ring, entering it's awakened state.

"TEMPEST BREAK!"

CLASH

Fafnir has been blown right back into the air.

"FAFNIR!" Free powered up, a yellow aura surrounding him and Fafnir as Mirage Fafnirs avatar has been summoned. Mirage Fafnir was able to hit the stadium walls and spring back towards Dragon.

"Mirage Claw!"

CLASH

Now it was Dragons turn to be blown back, and the storm plate was able to gain more stamina and also, letting Lucifer back on the stadium.

"LUCIFER!" Lane powered up, his flare was surrounding him and Lucifer as his avatar has been summoned, soon, Dragon has been caught in the storm plate and all three beyblades gained an immense amount of speed and lost control which caused them to fly back and hit the stadium walls, springing into the air towards each other.

"END THIS WITH MIRAGE CLAW!"

"TAKE ALL OF THEM DOWN! LIMIT BREAK: THE END!"

"TIME TO GET SERIOUS AND RISE UP! TEMPEST BREAK!"

CLASH

A huge explosion has been caused by the impact of all three attacks.

BURST

Dante and Free widened their eyes to see both of their beyblades being bursted by Lucifer.

"Lucifer The End is the winner! Lane Valhalla wins the battle royal! The score is 1-3-2!"

The crowd cheered along with Hanami.

"AND THAT'S IT FOLKS! WE HAVE OUR WINNERS! FREE AND LANE WILL MOVE ONTO THE SECOND ROUND!"

Free smiled along with Lane who had a satisfied smile on his face.

"Awwww man!" Dante yelled, frustrated that he lost.

"Lane! Free!" Free and Lane looked at Dante with somewhat bit of a surprised look.

"Next time, I'm gonna win! You'd better watch out!" Dante said with a scary grin and Free and Lane with an approvingly smile

"That was an awesome battle!" Valt and Shasa said at the same time.

Rantaro and Ranjiro high fived each other.

"Man, Lane has gotten even stronger!" Hyuga said and Hikaru nodded his head.

"Which means he have to get stronger too!" Hikaru said and Hyuga looked at his brother with a grin.

"And here are the bladers who will be moving onto the second round!"

The screen has showed the photos and names of the bladers that will participate in the second round.
