You entered the small pet shop, you moved your hair behind your ear while smiling at all the pets. You stroll through the aisles looking for stuff to get. You made your way towards the food section, grabbing a medium-size dry food bag for cats.

 You then look at one of the TV's in the corner, as they show a picture of Loomis and his body. You let out a soft sigh trying to shove away the pain you went through when you got taken from Michael. You put some simple cat toys and two bowls in the basket you held. A smile spread across your face seeing how cute the toy was for the cat, you never really thought about getting a pet since you were mostly working. But now that everything happened you were already done with working at the hospital. You had a decent amount of money for some years to pay bills and etc. So you weren't very worried...

You then walk to the registers to pay for the stuff you bought, you then notice a sketchy man looking right at you which sent chills down your spine. You move up in the line and set your basket on the counter as the cashier scanned all the items. You decide to add a small bag of candy that was in front of the counter for Michael since he's a sweet tooth. You take out your wallet and paid for the items while the cashier puts the items in the bags. They then give you the receipt and waved goodbye at you as you grabbed the bags. You walked out of the shop and went towards your parking lot. You were about to unlock your car until the man from the shop called your name, you raised a brow wondering why he knows your name.

"I know you might not want to speak of this but my name is Detective Elorn, Im working on trying to find out where Michael might be. I was working with Loomis until he was murdered by Michael... during the investigation, we did some forensic research and found your blood outside in the backyard. Do you have time to get a coffee and talk about this?" he spoke in a mellow tone, his eyes were bright green, and as his hair was black and messy. He was around 5'8, you were a bit irritated since you just wanted to go home.

"I- actually have to go- some wh-" you were cut off by him,

"Im sure it can wait, there's a coffee shop right next to the pet shop so let's go have a seat." he gave a small friendly smile. You gave a low growl before putting your bags into the back seat. You closed the car door and followed him into the coffee shop.

You sat down near the window as you waited for him to bring two coffees, you were only thinking about Michael. You wanted to just go see him, you didn't want to be around this strange man. You were cut off by Elorn clearing his throat and sitting down in front of you.

"Let's get started shall we?" he takes out a small recording box making you feel uneasy and uncomfortable. You nod and take a small sip out of your coffee, he takes out a notebook and pen before speaking.

"Can you explain why we found your blood?" Elorn's tone changed into a mellow way, you gave out a sigh.

"I was there with Loomis when Michael came, Loomis used me as bait since I used to be Michaels's old nurse back at the hospital. I accidentally tripped and fell out of the window when it all happened." you lied, trying to keep calm as possible. He nodded and wrote down some notes, this felt wrong.. you didn't want to tell him anything. You didn't want him to suspect anything between you and the serial killer that's now your partner. 

"How did you manage to survive that, there was no ambulance or records of you going to the hospital." Elorn raised his brow, you made your hand shaped into a fist- cant this guy take a hint that you're uncomfortable.

"I uh.. woke up in my bed with bandages?...." You nervously tapped your finger on the table, Elorn made a wide-eyed look as he writes more.

"Are you saying Michael helped you?" he questioned in a strict tone making you slightly flinch.

"W-what Uhm n-no of course not... Michael is a serial killer, he didn't help me-!" you managed to squeak out. Elorn chuckled at your response making you shift uncomfortably.

"So you're saying a ghost carried you all the way home, helped out with your wounds, and disappeared? You, Loomis, and Michael were the only ones there at the Myers house," he said with a low chuckle after, mocking your answer.

"That's all that i remember alright? I have to get going, I have a hungry pet waiting for me back at home." you scoff at him- you grab your coffee and walked out of the shop. Anger pumped through your mind, this man is so irritating...

You were about to enter your car until you felt someone grab your hand, you yell and look to see Elorn staring at you with a desperate look.

"I need answers Y/N, now that Loomis is gone... Haddonfield has no home in trying to catch Michael." Elon pleaded in a sad tone trying to make you feel sympathy,

"I get it! but i was only a nurse and used as bait! I don't know what else that happened and you're making me awfully uncomfortable so stop it!" you shoved him to the side and hoped into your car. You turn on your car and drive away right back to your house leaving behind Elorn in the parking lot.

You finally arrive home- you grab the bags and tried to calm yourself before entering your house, tears prickling out of anger. You then see Michael waiting at the couch, looking extremely upset since you took long. You sigh and take out the two bowls, you filled one of them with water and the other with food. You go up to Michael to see the cat playing with his shoelaces, you pick up the cat gently to give it the food until Michael grabbed your wrist.

"... I know I took long... I'm sorry alright?" your voice slightly cracked, you were extremely upset and frustrated that you were this close to just breaking down crying. The cat smelled the food and ran off to eat it, allowing you to sit down next to Michael.

Tears prickled in your eyes as your hands were clenched together, Michael obviously knew there was something wrong but he wasn't sure what was on your mind. He ruffled his hair trying to come up with some words to say, he slowly looks at your face- your cheeks were puffy and your leg was tapping up and down. He knew you were angry...

Michael questioned in his low gruff voice, making you look right at him

You were about to speak until you just broke down sobbing in front of him, he gave a shocked looked seeing your reaction.

"I-.. i was at the pet store when this m-man named Elorn.. h-he was working with Loomis and he was pressuring m-me to talk about what happened since t-they found my blood" you said in a frustrating tone. You cried into the palm of your hands, you were worried that they will find out about the both of you.

He rubbed your back trying to comfort you, he takes your hands trying to see your face. Tears streaming down in frustration,

"He- wouldn't take the hint that I was uncomfortable! n-now he m-might catch onto us!" you said while wiping your eyes.

"He was annoying me and he was extremely ugly!" you whined and buried your face into Michaels's chest. You heard a low chuckle from him, you two sat there for a while as Michael plays with your hair.

Michael said in a reassuring way, you then nod- you decided to climb on his lap and wrap yourself around him to comfort yourself. The slight scent of vanilla came from him, you quietly sniffled into his chest. He wrapped his arms around you, securing you into his embrace.

You slowly take out the bag of candy you got for Michael, he slightly smiled and took the bag gently from you. He kisses your head in a thank you before eating some of the candy. You closed your eyes, you were tired from crying and being angry that you didn't even notice how drained you were. The night was peaceful, it was just you and Michael cuddling together... maybe he was right... everything might be okay.
