《' His Secret Affair ' (G.d)》Eleven

I made my way to science as my palms began to get sweaty. It's been a few days since I told grayson and he did confront them about it but he didn't tell them it was me. Thank god.
I still have my job and I'm still with grayson, but I haven't seen or heard from lora. Grayson kicked her out.
I walked In seeing Ethan at his desk. He had his full attention on his phone and he was typing away and you could tell from the look on his face he was not happy.
I went and sat in my usual desk and kept my head down. I felt so quilty but I couldn't lie to grayson anymore.
It was fifteen minutes into class and he had put in bill Nye the science guy film and we chilled out.
"Skie your wanted in the office"
I looked up and his eyes we're going straight through me. Why would the office need me? My whole 12 years of school and iv never been to the office something is off.
I nodded as I grabbed my bag and put it over my shoulder and made my way to the office. I walked In and they looked at me with a confused look.
"Can I help you doll?" The sweet lady at the front desk asked.
"I was told the office needed me, I'm skie"
She gave me a weird look and looked around.
"No one has asked for a skie hun, im sorry you can go back to class"
I gave her a small smile as I walked back to class. I was so confused why would Ethan say that? Did he make it up? Maybe it was a misunderstanding.
I was making my way to class when I felt a strong hand wrap around my mouth keeping me from screaming. I was pulled into a closet and the door shut and locked. The lights were turned on and my eyes went wide and my heart started pumping.

Ethan.
"You know everything was going perfect, I had a good job, I had a nice reputation and i was fucking my brothers wife, and then one day it all starts crumbling down and the secret got out. But what doesn't make since is the only ones who knew was me and lora, so I got to thinking who could have opened there mouth?, then I thought of you all the signs pointed at you, and when lora told me you were her babysitter it all made perfect since, but the most confusing part is why would you tell him? Your a highschooler and a babysitter it wouldn't be any of your business, but then skie, this is where it gets juicy, I saw grayson and little miss big mouth kissing when I came over to talk to him, it's like everything fell into place" he talked like some physco person and it was quite scarey.
"Good job you figured it out, what you want? A cookie? " I sassed and I could tell it pissed him off.
(forced warning)
He grabbed my throat and slung me against the wall making me cry out in pain. He hovered over me as his other hand made it's way into my shirt. I tried to fight him off but he was way to strong.
"Shut up, you know what happens to girls who can't keep there mouth shirt? They get punished" he says so aggressivly as he throws me to the ground.
I cried out from the hard floor slamming against my face making my nose pour in blood.
He straddled me as he started harshly kissing on my skin. He grabbed my throat again keeping me from turning away from him as he forced himself on to me. His hands was roaming my body in places I didn't want him to touch, only grayson.

I got this huge wave of strength come over me and I brought my hands up and dug my fingers into his eyes and pushed him off of me. I stood up running for dear life as fast as I could. I got in my car and made my way home but I pulled over and callasped. I couldn't keep the tears from falling. I need someone, I needed my safe place. I grabbed my phone dialing the only person i trust and needed.
Grayson dolan.

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
