Three months later and only two weeks before season 14 filming started Jensen was back on his fit and was getting ready to go to the San Antonio's convention. Jack was staying home with his nanny because I needed to be around Jensen. To be honest, I was more that nervous about today because it's going to be his first appearance after his stroke. He still wasn't over it fully but he insisted that he is feeling ready to do this. But we agreed that I'm the one driving us there and I'm staying around him so I can keep an eye on him.
"Are you sure that you are ready?" I ask while driving
"Yes, I am. How many times are you going to ask me that?" he asks
"Sorry. I'm just worried" I say
"Hey, I'm ok. I'm feeling good. Don't worry, ok?" he says and places his hand on mine that was on the car shifter. I nod and I can see with the corner of my eye that he is smiling. "We are even having sex so this should be nothing" he says
"I knew that this would come up at some point" I say and he chuckles. "Did you eat your breakfast?" I ask
"Yes" he says and takes a sip of his coffee "But you didn't, right?" he asks but I don't answer.
"By the way, I have a question that have been wandering in my head since we were in the hospital" I say
"I'm listening" he says
"Where did you hit your head so bad?" I ask and he chuckles
"I think it was two days before the end of the season, on set. I had just finished so I went in my trailer to change and then come to take you so we could go back home. But I may or may not had let the cabinet over the stove open and when I was walking I hit it with my head because I was looking up something in my phone" he says

"How many times did I tell you to close the freaking cabinets and drawers when you take something?" I ask
"Many" he says in a total guilty look "But I learnt my lesson" he continues
"I hope you did" I say and he nods.

At the convention I followed him everywhere. I tried not to but I just can't. From the moment I show his face get uneven when he had the stroke, I'm always worried when I don't watch him. This image will not get out of my head and will not stop haunting me.
But I can understand that I'm annoying him. Is the first time he actually gets out of the house and I haven't let him out of my sight for a second. He is doing some autographs now and then he will do the main panel with Jared.
After autographs, we returned back to the green room with the rest of the cast. "Alex, are you free?" Jensen asks
"Yes" he answers
"Why don't you take (Y/N) to eat some breakfast while I'm in the panel?" Jensen asks
"No, I'm fine. I'll stay here" I say
"No, you are gonna go" he says
"I don't want to. I said that I'm fine"
"(Y/N)--"
"Jensen, I'm fine" I say. I take his hand and I drag him out of the green room. "Look, I know that I'm really annoying but I can't help it but follow you. I... I'm worried about you all the time because last time I happen to be there and I noticed that something was wrong but maybe next time I won't be so lucky" I say. He places his hands on my shoulders and looks me in the eyes
"I get that you are worried. I really do. But as I healed, you need to heal too. And I'm here for you now. So let's take the first lesson, I'm gonna go to the panel with Jared and you will stay here, in the green room. You can watch through the TV in there and you will only be allowed to come one time for a couple of minutes or less. Ok?" he asks cupping my face.

A tear escapes my eye but he wipes it quickly with his thumb. "I don't think--" I start to say but he stops me
"You promise to try?" he asks
"I will" I say and he smiles.
"I'm sorry to interrupt..." Jared says "... but we have to go" he says. Jensen pecks my lips and lets go of me. "I will see you later" he says and I nod.
"I love you" I say
"I love you too" he says and pecks my lips one more time before leaving.
