Dr Shepherd came back and examined Jensen. He said that he is doing great but he should be really careful for the first weeks at least. From the second I heard that he was doing great, I felt so relieved that my whole body was ready to collapse.

"Now that you have so many people with you, I will go to the bathroom for a bit, ok?" I ask

"Yeah, of course" Jensen says and I kiss him before I leave the room.

I go to the bathroom and I splash some cold water on my face trying to feel a little bit more awake. I take a paper towel and I wipe my face. I look my face in the mirror and more tears form in my eyes. I look down at the counter, I close my eyes and I take a deep breath.

Jared's POV

(Y/N) kisses Jensen quickly and leaves the room. But she didn't look good. "Alex" Jensen calls and we all look at him "Go. S- She needs a friend n-- now" he says looking at Alex. Alex nods and leaves the room too. "How was she?" Jensen asks. He still had a bit trouble with talking but with some therapy, it should go away.

"Not good" I say "But she's tough" I say trying to make him feel a bit better "And I'm sure that she's good as long as you're good" I continue and he just nods.

Your POV

A few more deep breaths later, I couldn't block the tears. The first of them were already streaming down my cheeks but I was still fighting to stop the rest of them or else I would collapse.

As soon as I heard the door open, I wiped my tears quickly. "What? Did something happen? Is Jensen ok?" I ask and I walk to the door but he stops me. He places his hands on my arms and looks at me "Jensen is fine. You are the one I'm worried about" he says

"I'm fine" I say

"No, you're not. All of us can see that. Even Jensen. So let it all out. I'm here for that"

"No, I can't. Jensen needs me"

"Exactly. That's why you need to be ok" he says.

"I just..." I say and a sob escapes my mouth "I... I can't... I feel like... like I'm just going to collapse" I say between my sobs and tears start running free. Alex hugs me and lets me cry on his shoulder. I felt my knees get weaker and weaker until I realized that I was falling on the ground. Alex gets on his knees still holding and rubbing my back.

"You have every right to cry right now so don't feel guilty about it" he says

"I was so scared... I thought that I might lose him" I say between my sobs

"But he is right there. He is getting better. Yes, the next couple of months will be hard but you got this. I mean you practically saved his life. If it wasn't for you, he might be even dead now. You're the reason he is in there talking and moving. Not like he used to but he does and that's a huge thing for his condition" he says rubbing my back.

"Thank you" I say

"Your welcome" he says still holding me.

"Feeling any better?" he asks me

"A bit yes. Thank you" I say as I pull away

"Anytime. Do you need a minute alone?"

"No. Let's go" I say as I wipe my tears and he nods.

We go back in the room and I sit on my seat. "G-- Go home" Jensen says. He is still having some trouble speaking

"What?" I ask

"Go home. T-- Take some s-- sleep" he says

"No, I'm fine. I'm not gonna leave you" I say taking his hand

"I-- I know. But I'm a-- asking you to do it. Y-- You are exhausted and I f-- feel responsible" he says

"(Y/N), he is right. Go. I'm gonna stay until you come back" Jared says

"No. What if something happens?" I ask

"Then I'm gonna call you" he says

"And what if I don't answer? And I'll have to take care of Jack too" I say

"I don't think Tina will refuse to stay for an extra day. Don't worry go get some rest and come back when you can" he says.

I look back at Jensen. He smiles and nods. "Go" he says

"I love you" I say and I kiss him softly

"I love you too" he says

"I'll be back as soon--"

"No, t-- take your time. Do it for me" he says and I smile

"Ok. But if something happens, you call me immediately" I say at Jared

"I will" he says and I nod.
