Jensen's POV

As I hang up, I immediately ran to the car and drove as fast as I could to my girls. On the way, I was praying for both of them to be ok. When I parked outside of the house, police was coming too. But I didn't care. I just ran to my apartment and then to my room. That's where I saw her. The love of my life laying on the floor with a huge amount of blood next to her. She was looking so pale. I kneel next to her and I check for her pulse. I started to panic when I couldn't find any.

That's when I heard JJ, from the bathroom. "JJ?" I ask

"Daddy? Is mama ok?" she asks crying. The police came inside and ordered for the trauma guys to come too. "JJ, listen to me, I'm here and I'm going to open the door soon. I just need you to stay there for a few more minutes, ok?" I ask

"Ok" she says.

The paramedics put (Y/N) on the gurney and they leave. I find the key to the bathroom and I unlock the door. I hug JJ and I pick her up shoving her face in my chest so she wouldn't see all the blood that was in the room. I carry her to the car and I drive to the hospital "Is mama going to be ok?" she asks me. I didn't know what to say at that moment.

Your POV

That beeping is really really pissing me off and my throat is killing me. But it's been a while now that I can't move. I can't even open my eyes. I hear some voices now and then, most often Jensen's, JJ's, Danneel's and my mom's but nothing more. I am trying so hard to open my eyes, let them know that I'm here, but I can't do anything.

I try to move my hand or at least my finger but something is holding it down. "(Y/N)? Did you try to move your hand?" Jensen asks and I feel the weight lift uo from my hand. I manage to twitch my finger. "Welcome back baby" he says and kisses my hand "Now, can you open your eyes for me?" he asks and starts to rub my cheek. I groan a bit "It's hard, I know, I've been through this too but if I can do it, you can do it for sure" he says.

A few seconds passed but I finally opened my eyes. Jensen's smile was the first thing I saw. "There she is" he says and smiles even more. But I couldn't see how exhausted he is. "Do you need some water?" he asks and I nod. He brings me a cup and I take a sip. "How are you feeling?" he asks

"I had better" I say and he chuckles "How is JJ?" I ask

"She is fine. Thanks to you" he says and kisses my hand "They got him (Y/N), both him and Nick" he continues

"Nick worked with him" I ask and he nods

"It's over now, ok? Let's focus now on you recovering properly, ok?" he asks and I nod.

The door opens and JJ runs to me. She climbs on the bed carefully not to hurt me and she hugs me. "I love you mama" she says

"I love you too" I say and I hug her too.

"Jensen, can you and JJ go for a walk?" Danneel asks

"Sure, let's go and we'll be back in a few minutes, ok birdie?" he asks JJ

"Fine" she says and follows him outside.

"Dee, I'm sorry for putting her in such a danger" I say

"Thank you for making sure she was safe" she says and hugs me. She pulls away and a tear escapes her eye "Jensen told me that you locked her in the bathroom so she could be safe while you stayed outside because you knew that he was coming for you. Thank you for keeping her safe" she says

"It was the only thing I could have done right then and there. And the fact that Jensen just falls on the couch after night shooting helped me realize that someone else got inside" I say trying to cheer her up

"He still does that?" she asks

"Yes, he says that he doesn't want to wake me up but I have no problem because I wake up anyways by the door, so..." I say

"An I'm so grateful that you do. I'll be grateful to you forever" she says

"You don't have to"

"I do. You did anything a parent would do to protect their child. And you did it for her. And also she wouldn't stop talking about her new room and... a Frozen pillow?" she says

"Oh yeah" I say and I chuckle.
