I ride in the ambulance with Jensen, holding his hand for as long as the doctors allowed me to. Then they had to take him for surgery. Another doctor cleaned the wound I had on my forehead and lead me in the waiting room. It's been two hours now that I'm sitting in here with no update. My phone started ringing. It was from set. What am I supposed to say? They are probably looking for Jensen too. The doctor gave me his phone earlier so I take it out of my bag and I call Jared.
"Hey, Jay. Where are you buddy?" he asks
"Hey Jared, (Y/N) here" I say trying not to sound like I was crying. "Can you do me a huge favour?" I ask
"Yes, of course" he says
"You really should sit down first"
"(Y/N), what is going on?"
"Jensen and I won't make it to work today" I say but a sob stops me "Jensen had an accident and we are in the hospital right now. He is hurt Jared. He is hurt pretty bad and I'm scared" I say and I start to cry again
"Ok, ok, I'm gonna let them know on set and I'm gonna be there as soon as possible. I just want you to stay calm and call me if there are any updates, ok?" he asks
"Ok" I say and I wipe my tears
"I'm on my way" he says and hangs up.

I see Jared entering the hospital and he sees me too. He walks to me quickly "Any update?" he asks and I shake my head. He sits next to me "I updated them on set and they said that they'll stop shooting until Jensen is fully back. And they also said that they'll come to visit him" he says and I nod.

"This is my fault. This is all my fault" I say and I start to cry again
"No, (Y/N), it isn't" he says
"We were walking down the street and if I had checked the road one more time, I would have seen that crazy son of a bitch coming and would have stopped" I say "He pushed me out of the way Jared" I say and I look at him "And now he's..."
"He is going to be fine" he says and rubs my back.
"He told me that he loves me last night and I didn't say anything. I just pretended to be asleep because I didn't know what to say. He jumped in front of a car for me and I couldn't even say to him that I love him back. And why? Because I was afraid. And now he could--" I say crying
"No, don't say that" he says
Then Jensen's phone started ringing. "It's Danneel" I say to Jared and I answer. "Hi Danneel, (Y/N) here" I say
"Oh hi (Y/N). Did Jensen ask you about meeting JJ?" she asks
"Yes, he did. And I would love to meet her but right now it's not a good time. Can I call you later?" I ask
"I actually wanted to ask Jensen if he could take JJ today because something came up and I have to leave today" she says and I look at Jared
"Give her to me" he says and I do "I'll be right back" he says and gets up to go talk with Danneel.
He came back after a couple of minutes. "Danneel and JJ are on there way here. She wants to see Jay so they will both come here and then I'll take JJ to my place" he says

"Are you sure you're ok with it?" I ask
"Yes. You just stay here with Jay, ok? I know that he needs you right now"
"Thank you"
"Anytime" he says and rubs my back.
A doctor comes out and walks to us "Are you here for Mr Ackles?" he asks
"Yes, yes, how is he?" I ask and I get up
"The damage on his brain and his abdomen was critical. But we caught it just in time so we were able to fix it" he says
"That's good, right? He is going to be ok" Jared asks
"His condition is still critical but stable. We hope to see progress in the next hours but I can't guarantee anything right now"
"Can I see him?" I ask
"Yes, follow me" he says and leads me to his room. That image I saw when I walked inside will never get out of my head. My legs got weak and I was ready to break down. "I'll give you sometime. Call me if you need anything" Jared says and leaves.
I sit next to Jensen's bed and I take his hand. I rub the back of his hand and I start to cry again. "I love you" I say and I kiss his hand "I love you Jensen. I'm sorry I didn't say it earlier, I'm sorry I put you in that bed... I'm so sorry" I say between my sobs.
