Gersaka's eyes widened as he breathed his brother's name.

"H-h-he's alive?" he asked, his voice shaking.

Rex nodded, "Yes he is, now I've got to get you and the other pirates out of here. Do you know where they are?"

Gersaka smirked, "Look around"

Rex scanned the area to see that Gersaka was surrounded by at least twenty other Weequays. They must be the pirates he was looking for.

"You found them," he said with a faint smile.

Behind Rex's helmet, he returned the gesture and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Now how do I get your guys out of here?" Rex questioned looking around the room for a key.

Gersaka frowned, "There's a guard, an imperial officer with a scar that damaged his eyes on the left side. He has the key"

Rex's heart dropped like a stone. He really hoped that wasn't who he thought it was. He couldn't fight him, he didn't want to.

"Are you sure?" Rex pushed, quickly glancing around the corner making sure no troopers or officers were coming.

"I'm sure. Wait...are you a clone?" the Weequay asked hastily.

Rex nodded and hesitated before taking off his helmet. Gersaka and the pirates around him let out a gasp. Rex flinched at their reactions and put his helmet back on.

"Why are you helping us? I thought you hated our kind, you know us pirates usually get into all sorts of trouble with you guys" Gersaka pointed out.

"That's a story for when we get out of here" Rex snapped as he started to sprint away.

He didn't feel like telling them the entire story of Ahsoka and Hondo and her being trapped and tortured. So he just left.

"The guard!" Gersaka shouted after Rex, "He looks alot like you. Only with different hair. Is he a clone too?"

Rex bit his lip and tensed. So it was Wolffe. This mission just kept getting better and better. Didn't it? He dashed down the halls, searching for his brother. Finding him wouldn't be that hard, but getting the key from him was another story.

Wolffe was one of the toughest clones Rex knew. He was by the book and always followed orders to the point. Only rarely did Rex see him smile, or even show a little empathy. But Rex still knew Wolffe loved his brothers, and Rex loved him. He didn't want to fight him. In fact that was the last thing he wanted to do right now.

Rex scrambled around another corner and kept running until he heard a familiar voice. He stopped and his stomach started to twist into knots, making Rex feel like he was going to get sick.

"General! The intruder has been sighted at hallway G-51! Please send reinforcements and I will deal with it right away!" Wolffe's rough voice boomed into a transmitter.

Rex stayed hidden until Wolffe hung up, then he crept into the room where Wolffe was. Besides Wolffe, no one else occupied the room and it was eerily silent. Rex tried not to make a sound as he inched closer and closer to his brother. He was just about to snatch the keys where he spotted them on his waist band, when suddenly Wolffe whirled.

Rex sucked in a sharp breath. This wasn't Wolffe. This wasn't him. Order 66 had clouded his mind and brainwashed him.

"Rex" Wolffe growled, "You are under arrest for treason against the Republic and the break in of this imperial prison"

With that Wolffe pulled out a blaster and aimed it right at Rex.

"Wolffe please!" Rex begged, "It's me! The chip... it's not making you think straight, this isn't right!"

"The only thing that isn't right here, is that fact that you betrayed the Republic!" Wolffe snarled, lashing out, "Now I will only repeat this once. You are under arrest and if you don't lay down your weapon right now, I will have to do it myself"

Rex fought the urge to run up to his brother and hug him with all his might. It broke his heart to see him like this, turning against him and acting...heartless.

"Ok..." Rex sighed.

He carefully set his blaster to stun and began to lower it to the ground. Wolffe stepped closer and Rex's blaster was almost to the ground now.

"Now step awa-" Wolffe started.

But he was cut off as Rex stunned the clone, causing him to collapse to the ground. His own blaster clattered to the ground and slid out of his hand.

"Wolffe.." Rex breathed, kneeling next to his brother and gently taking the keys, "I'm so sorry"

With one last look in Wolffe's direction, Rex shot down the hallway. He ran as fast as his feet could carry him, fresh tears misting his eyes and running down his cheeks. He tried to push down the empty feeling that rose up in his chest, the pain almost too much to bear.

He quickly looked at the timer in his helmet, it read 4 hours and around twenty minutes left. Rex needed to hurry if he wanted to make it out of here in time. He whizzed down the hall and scrambled back to where Gersaka and the other pirates were.

"Now where-" Rex started but he was interrupted.

"Over there!" Gersaka shouted, pointing to a slot in the nearby wall.

Rex ran over and placed the key in the slot, then cranked it to the side. A loud, blaring, alarm sounded and slowly all the cell doors the pirates were in creaked open. The pirates let out hoots and cheers of joy before stampeding out of their cells. They dashed down the hall, somehow knowing exactly where the exit was. Rex didn't question it and just followed close behind them.

"Wait, follow me!" Rex shouted and started to lead the group another way.

They came upon the Twi'lek man's cell and Rex stopped causing a ripple effect throughout the group.

Rex tried the key in the lock for the cell door and sure enough it worked. The Twi'lek man gawked in disbelief at Rex. Rex just shoved him out of the cell and into line. There was no time to waste.

"T-thank you," he sputtered.

Rex just nodded, leading the group thundering done yet another hall. The group turned around a corner and came face to face with a whole army of storm troopers and imperial officers. Both groups stopped for a moment, then all of the sudden a pirate let out a battle cry and all hell broke loose. Pirates were wailing on the enemy, and suddenly Rex felt kinda bad for the troopers and officers that just happened to end up in this mess. Rex was helping them out, shooting and stunning the ones they missed. The Twi'lek man even helped, pointing out to the pirates some of the officers or troopers that got a little too close for comfort.

Suddenly Rex caught the sound of a bone chilling, scream of horror. He recognized it as Gersaka and took off to where he heard it coming from. He would never forgive himself if he let anything happen to Sorgon's brother.

Sure enough Gersaka was wounded with a blaster shot in the arm, guards and officers surrounding him on all sides. Rex took one deep breath before charging right in. He took turns punching and blasting as more pirates came to help. One officer aimed at Rex and he ducked right in time to see the charge just barely miss his head.

Rex clenched his jaw and kicked the officer to the ground before shooting him in the shoulder. Another officer tackled Gersaka and the poor Weequay let out a yelp. Rex lept into action, prying the officer off Gersaka and landing a punch to his jaw. Rex cracked his knuckles and smiled behind his helmet.

"That felt good," he said with a smirk.

Rex shot a hand out for Gersaka who gratefully took it. When the pirate was back on his feet, he gritted his teeth and clutched his now bleeding blaster wound. One of the other pirates rushed over and put his other arm around his shoulder, helping Gersaka to wobble away. The pirates had completely destroyed the officers as well as the troopers with few casualties. It was time to leave.

"Let's get out of here!" Rex shouted, and everyone took off running again.

The band of pirates, a clone, and a Twi'lek ran down the halls pushing past everything the prison threw at them. They finally arrived at the exit, earning some cheers and shouts from the pirates. Rex let a small smile tug at his cheek.

The group bounded out the door and took out the officers quickly.

"Get to a speeder and don't wait for me!" Rex called.

The pirates did as they were told, hastily finding a mode of transportation and zooming off into the distance. Rex found one as well and searched for the Twi'lek man. When he found him, he was panicking and searching for a speeder desperately.

"Over here!" Rex shouted to him.

The man dashed over to him and quickly hopped onto the back of the speeder. Then Rex quickly started the engine and took off. It was dark outside, Rex could just barely make out his surroundings. He squinted behind his helmet, that didn't do much good. The sandy air flew up into his helmet and scratched at his face. Rex tried his best to prevent it but nothing helped.

Rex checked the timer, around two hours. It was going to be a miracle if they made this.

"Hold on Ahsoka" Rex thought, "I'm coming"
