sat within the back of a black Mercedes' Benz truck, Alec was driving them whilst Jane sat in the passenger seat. The sign that the brunette girl noticed immediately dashed passed them the sound of what they thought was the wind howling flew past them.
"Il mio Amore we have arrived" Marcus informed his human mate who's head quickly snapped upwards her doe brown eyes glanced out of the window seeing the place she once called home.
It seemed that Charlie was in as his cruiser was parked in the drive along with Isabella's rusty red truck. Thankfully the car they were in was electric which didn't make a single sound.
As soon as Alec parked in the driveway Estelle quickly got out of the vehicle and dashed towards the front door, fumbling with keys she managed to get the door open only to find her home wasn't how she had left it.
Marcus watched his mate within curiosity as she walked through the small quaint house careful not to step on any glass that was smashed on the floor prior to her depression the day she had left something she knew she had left behind.
However it was the plate of freshly made food that filled the air around them which confused Estelle greatly 'was someone squatting in her own home?' Whilst Marcus couldn't help but smell the disgusting scent of a wet dog.
The sound of footsteps hurrying down the staircase caused the king to move Estelle behind him protectively, him and the twins immediately got into a protective stance ready to kill the intruder.
"What the fuck!" A deep yet familiar masculine voice called out from the doorway as he was soon pinned up against the wall. Estelle peaked over Marcus's shoulder, she could recognise the long black hair from anywhere.
"Jacob! Oh my god Alec let him go!" The petite human pleaded to the guard who begrudgingly dropped the male but not before sending him a harsh glare yet Jacob didn't seem to care as he stared at his friend that he thought was dead.

"Oh my god Loca! Isabella told me that you was killed in that massacre in Italy!" At the mention of Isabella Swan, Estelle flinched "but now I know your not dead. Where have you been? I tried to call you but you never answered!"
That caused Marcus's brows to furrow "that is strange...." At the sound of a new voice Jacob turned to the surprisingly handsome man in confusion "her father figure was able to call her perfectly from here and she never had her phone changed"
"Who the fuck are you?" Jacob growled at the male not knowing that he was a king, well one of the kings who so happened to be a vampire, Alec growled at the brown skinned boy with a growl but Jane pulled her brother back telling him not to fight.
Estelle seeing the tension within the two stepped in between them sending Jacob a small smile she spoke "this is Marcus we um.... I live with him and his family they saved me from getting killed by the psychopath" it wasn't a complete lie but thankfully Jacob hadn't took notice of it as the snarl changed into a look of relief.
"This does not explain why he is in your house" Jane finally spoke up from her position in front of her brother, the small vampire glanced up at Jacob and as soon as their eyes met something.... Snapped into place.
Jane felt as if all her worries had floated away, everyone in the room at that moment vanished it was only her and Jacob staring at one another in both curiosity and wonder.
The vampire king looked at Jane's left index finger seeing a golden string beginning to appear linking to none other than Jacob..... 'Caius isn't going to be pleased about this...... nor is Alec'.
Jacob begrudgingly looked away from the beautiful girl with mysterious ruby red eyes a pout formed on his lips which caused Jane to giggle something her brother did not like since he was older by ten minutes exactly.

"Ever since Estelle left Forks I felt alone, my dad told me that what I was doing would break me more but in my heart I knew that she would come back" the raven haired male sighed walking up to Estelle he pulled her into a long embrace the two masking in one another's familiar scent.
"Woah! You on steroids or something!" Estelle exclaimed as she pulled away from her friend who's body was muscular than the last time she had seen him not to mention warmer
Jacob let out a booming laughter at his friends words before shaking his head, he sat himself on the stool within the kitchen table diving into his meal taking small glances towards Jane. However at that moment the front door opened and another set of footsteps entered the house.
"Jacob your old man called he wants you back on the re-" Charlie froze suddenly, blinking a couple times he also pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming "Estelle? Your back?"
The petite brunette smiled up at the man she considered a father figure "just for prom then I'll be back in Italy for my last year" she informed the man who didn't waste a second in bringing the teen into his arms like Jacob had done
"Welcome home" Charlie whispered rubbing a comforting hand on Estelle's back as she let out small sobs, the tears she was helping back now fell down her face. All she could feel at that moment was pure joy.
Charlie then looked at the new faces within the room his eyes mostly on Marcus who's black eyes were dangerously narrowed towards him "Who are you?"
Jacob chuckled pulling Estelle away from Charlie's arms and back into his own a cheesy grin formed on his lips "you might wanna sit down for this one old man"

That night the witch twins were on nightly patrol incase of a Nomad passing through the small town or even if the Cullens so happened to figure out their location.
Alec was walking on the side of both Estelle and Charlie's home where he noticed a window opening revealing a very.... Pale human girl with bucked teeth she seemed to be waiting for someone.
The vampire wasn't stupid in his human life he remembered when he would sneak into his girlfriends home at night time. Of course when he became a vampire when he went to meet her for the last time he lost control and simply.... Drained her.
I'm the woods opposite of the homes golden hues widened seeing the familiar figure of the Volturi guard standing beneath his girlfriends window. The figure backed away careful not to step onto a stick before running back to their home where his family were standing within the living room.
Emmett seeing his coven brother about to run up the stairs grabbed the scruff of his shirt lifting him off the floor as if he weighed nothing "woah woah woah! What's got you so skittish?"
Edward glared at the bulky vampire as soo as he felt his feet hit the floor once more, when he went to move away he was stopped by Rosalie and Jasper who were also sending him looks similar to Emmett's own.
"None of your business!" The scruffy haired male hissed at his siblings glancing over it his mother and father figure "I just decided that Bella needed to be left alone to heal for the night after the incident"
Rosalie let out a scoff she didn't but her brothers words one bit "she won't be fully healed for another six weeks!" She then groaned in annoyance when he ran back out of the house probably to hunt or take his anger out on a tree.
'Maybe he would hurt Bambi too..... poor baby'

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
