in fact he would rather describe himself as great and a noble man yet other covens didn't see him in that way.
He remembered correctly the girl from Romania telling him that he was a beast just like in the fairy tale....... Before he knocked her head off of her shoulders that is.
The blonde king had noticed his brother leaving the castle more regularly, coming back with a smile that etched across his lips. Never in his years as a vampire had he seen Marcus who was known to be emotionless. Smile.
"Brother where are you going?" Aro's voice echoed within the throne room a young man that was his meal now limp on the marble flooring a puddle of blood surrounding the corpse.
Caius had not realised he was walking before he paused just as his hand was placed against the large doors, looking back his eyes narrowed slightly Marcus's seat still empty.
"I am going to look for Marcus he has been acting...." He paused, yet didn't take him long to reply with a single word "strange"
The leader of the Volturi narrowed his eyes watching the blonde king, his brother leave the room and perhaps the castle grounds itself, leaving him alone the guards stayed in their spots like statues.
"Demetri!" As soon as the name was called, the tracker was seconds by his masters side kneeling on the ground in respect
"Yes master?" He asked his tone soft almost quiet yet thanks to Aro's vampiric hearing he had heard him
"Follow my brother I have a feeling he will do something reckless tonight" Aro demanded to which Demetri didn't speak merely nodded before vanishing in a cloud of black smoke.
Estelle was sat within the centre of Volterra her notebook in hand as she began to draw the fountain she was sitting against, her eyes glancing at the details of the three male statues.

It looked almost greek like, ironic to say that she is in Italy. Yet something is telling her that the fountain is telling a story. A story that is yet to be solved
"I see you are enjoying yourself" at the sound of the husky voice Estelle snapped her head upwards to see Marcus standing in front of her merely a few inches away as her heart began to beat rapidly due to the closeness.
"I couldn't sleep...." The brunette admitted sheepishly her gaze then turned to the full moon looming above the city of Volterra "what is your excuse?"
Marcus merely hummed as a response taking a seat besides Estelle his dark eyes glanced over the book she was holding, eyebrows rose seeing a drawing she had done.
The drawing itself was of what he presumed was a bedroom where a beautifully painted woman was sleeping her body merely covered by a thin white material yet behind the woman was a man almost staring at her peaceful form almost lovingly.
Noticing his gaze Estelle spoke "I wanted to create a piece that resembled the god of dreams within Greek Mythology......" she bit her lip not knowing that Marcus was watching the small action.
The king or 'lawyer' if you will. Almost growled possessively at the simple action she had just done, he wanted to take her right then and there but he knew that he couldn't, he had to wait... unfortunately.
"I think it's a bellissimo piece, just like the artist" the king couldn't help but comment, his eyes filled with pride as Estelle giggled a blush coated her cheeks.
The two then stared into one another's eyes, Estelle didn't know why but like before she had felt a pull towards Marcus, she didn't understand how or why she felt this way but..... 'perhaps this is fate'

Slowly Marcus inched towards the petite human never taking his deep brown eyes away from her doe ones before, their lips touched
Estelle felt fireworks as soon as her lips met his, his arms wrapped around her waist not letting her go, their lips perfectly fit against one another into a slow, soft kiss.
Suddenly Estelle pulled away her hands placed upon Marcus's chest her breathing heavy, the king didn't know why she had pulled away however when he looked down he noticed her tear filled eyes.
"I-I'm sorry" the brunette apologised softly getting up from her spot on the fountain she grabbed her art book holding it tightly against her chest "I-I can't" she whispered before running off.
"Estelle!" Marcus called out for her, the girl who he had slowly fallen for during the weeks they had gotten to know one another, seeing her running away from him...... it hurt.
Lurking within the shadows Caius watched, his blood red eyes filled with curiosity as a small beautiful young woman ran away from his brother...
The blonde male noticed Marcus's eyes droop slightly the smile that was once curled up now turned into a frown his eyes filled with the sadness he had always seen.
Caius usually didn't feel any remorse for his brothers bed partners and their deaths however. This girl who he had watched kissing his brother.....
It made him angry.
Clicking his tongue Caius turned around his cloak whipping slightly as he made king fast strides through the ally ways within Volterra
'Who was that woman?' He thought his eyes landed on his victim, a blonde woman.... A prostitute yet all he could see was the beautiful vision that was with his brother
He could practically smell the intoxicating scent that radiated from her his senses. The blonde noticed him immediately slowly walking towards him swinging her hips almost seductively, wantonly.
Caius's eyes glowed hungrily grabbing the woman he didn't waste any time in diving into his meal, the sounds of the woman's screams echoed within the ally way yet no one hears..... no one simply cared.
He watched as the life drained from the woman's eyes before dropping her on the ground, wiping the blood around his mouth with a handkerchief Caius stepped over the woman's corpse before leaving the alley.
"I know your there Demetri" Caius snapped his eyes glanced over to the shadow by a lamppost, the familiar figure of his guard stepped out "had Aro sent you to keep an eye on me?"
Demetri gulped slightly he admit that he was scared of Caius giving the history of his past especially since he doesn't let anyone have mercy however...... he was his king and Alec would do anything for him.
"Master Aro told me to keep an eye on you...." The guard trailed his eyes glanced around his surrounding finding themselves in the plaza
The king nodded his head "understandable" he drawled the two walking side by side towards the castle before he paused "I want you to do something for me"
The tracker tilted his head confused as to what his master would ask him to do yet curious as well. He was not expecting however for Caius to pull up a picture of a beautiful woman.
"I want you to track this woman down and bring her to me"
