(To answer some questions that none of you guys have asked. I will not be taking their offer. That app is not for me and I much prefer the audience here in Wattpad than any other reading apps.)
Nik dragged me from my mom duties and pulled me into a dining room as we wait for Elijah. Nik had invited his long lost sister Freya to a breakfast dinner here. "Tell me again why you insist that I must be here?" I asked him as I lean against a chair.
"Is it wrong for me to just want you here?" Nik asked me with a innocent smile on his face. I roll my eyes and was about to say something when the door opens and Elijah walks in. "There you are, finally."
"I was delayed." Elijah explained he puts his coat on a coat hanger.
"Our guest of honor will be here momentarily." Nik said to him as compelled humans set everything up.
"Strange. The house is conspicuously absent of our lupine guests. I do hope it wasn't on my account." Elijah said as he bends over to to straighten out things on the table.
"I sent Hayley and her poorly groomed husband off to spend the day with their werewolf brethren to test the limits of their new abilities. Leaving me to deal with family business as I see fit." Nik said as he looks through the glass door hoping to see his newly founded sister.
"Niklaus, Rebekah's situation has taken a turn. We may need Freya's assistance, so whatever you're planning here, don't." Elijah asked of him.
I mock offense as I look at the noble brother. "Am I not good enough to help out Rebekah?" I asked him
"Phoenix you would have been the first person I would have come to given any witch problems, but since your current motherhood I decided to not burden that problem on you." Elijah said and he's not wrong either.

"All I'm planning is a simple chat with a long lost relative. You yourself said to hear her out." Nik said.
"And you yourself said that would be idiocy." Elijah countered.
"Did I?" Nik said as he looks up towards the ceiling furrowing his eyebrows showing that he is trying to remember actually saying such things. "Well, that does sound like me. Regardless, on the off chance Freya has some information that could protect my daughter I prefer she share it on my terms."
"How diabolical." I commented.
"Ah, I think hear her now." We all turn our heads to see Freya just now walking in. "Sister." Nik exclaimed. "Well, come in, come in. Make yourself comfortable." He greeted as he walks over to her and I also follow. "Freya I would like for you to meet my lovely wife, Phoenix Mikaelson." Nik greeted me.
I roll my eyes as I can hear Elijah let out a breathy laugh. I held my hand out to her. "Phoenix Fire, the girlfriend of a soon to be dead hybrid." I greeted looking at Nik for the last comment.
Freya just smiles at the interaction and took my hand in hers and we both immediately felt a chill go down our spine. "You're strong." We both said as we look each other over then we let go and acted like everything was normal.
Freya' attention was immediately brought to an object that was sitting on a mini table in the dining room. "This witch hoop, it's Danish. Is it from when you all lived in Copenhagen in the 1500s?" She asked us.
"Oh, I was never involved in this family until they came back to New Orleans." I said as I take one step back to show I can't be apart of this conversation.

"Quite the eye." Nik commented.
"Forgive me, but are we here to discuss family heirlooms, or do we have more pressing concerns?" Elijah asked out loud seeing as he wants to hurry this along.
"Please excuse my brother's lack of decorum. He's been in a foul mood of late. But he is right. I did ask you here in hopes that you would share some of Dahlia's secrets. So without further ado, let's get to it." Nik said and we all sat down at the table. Nik at the head, Freya to his right but in a chair farther away, me sitting on the left of Nik, and Elijah just standing behind a chair not moving.
"The first thing you should know is that Dahlia is the most powerful witch I have ever seen. She craves more power still. Right now, she is like me, limited to one year of life in a century. But she wants to be free of that restriction to gain true immortality. And that is why she will come here, drawn by your daughter to take the child's power for herself. And she will kill anyone who would defy her." Freya explained.
"And yet you would defy her." Elijah stated.
"I don't have a choice. She will never let me be free. My one chance is to align with you and kill her." Freya said.
"Well, now that we're all suitably motivated, let's talk specifics." Nik said moving the conversation along.
"For you to understand I need to start from the beginning. After taking me from my family Dahlia used me to forge a new brand of connection magic. One that augmented my power even as it allowed her to draw from me. Once we were bonded, Dahlia became unstoppable. She wasted no time proving her might. The chief of a nearby village threatened to run us off, accusing Dahlia of witchcraft. She decided to make an example out of the entire encampment. Men, women, and children. She killed them all with a wave of her hand. That was my first inkling of the power that Dahlia had. Over the course of a thousand years, she's only grown stronger. And she will bring all her power to beat against you when she comes for your child." Freya said.
Elijah phone starts to ring breaking this very intense story telling. "Excuse me." He got up and left the room so he can take the call.
"Yeah, I should go too. My mother instincts are kicking in." I said and got up from my chair. Before I could leave, Nik grabbed my arm and pulled me down so he can give me a quick kiss on the lips. He pulled away leaving a smile on my face then I left the room.
(A/N: 1: I'm not suppose to post on the weekdays due to me being in school again but I had been doing nothing but type chapters for the last two days.
2: Plus the season is almost over with and I can get to my personal favorite. I'm like almost done with Season 2 so once that is finish I'll post all the remaining chapters on the same day.
3: I will be deleting some parts in the story like that suggestion chapter where I asked you all for names and the important chapter were I asked for your opinion.
4: I also gotta make a cast 2 since I'm limited to a number of pics/gif a chapter can have and that will be right after the first one.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.
