《Home | The Originals》Chapter 55: Reunited

My phone buzzed making me put Maddox down in his bassinet. The screen lit up and I see a message from Rebekah. She sent me a location somewhere on the map. I'm not sure why she wants me to go all the way to Arkansas but whatever.

I walk into the White House with Maddox and Eric wrapped in the front and back of my body. Nicholas and Hunter are in a two seater stroller with Dove and Henrik sitting in carriages on top of it. I had to carry Angel in one arm while I push the stroller with another. It was difficult but I manage to get inside the house to see Elijah and Rebekah there.

I glance towards a play pen that Hope was in and I felt relief. "Oh thank god." I said and start to put all of my babies inside with Hope.

"Why do you have so many babies?" Rebekah asked me as she stares at each and every baby.

"Well, these babies, are all mine. Birth each and every one of them, one after the other. Starting with the oldest is Maddox, then we have, Eric, Nicholas, Hunter, Dove, and Henrik." I introduced Rebekah to my kids.

"Won't that be hard to take care of seven children?"

"I thought the same thing. But thank god I'm a witch because otherwise no one would have seen me for years. I'm able to use my magic to help feed them. I also made a replica of myself so taking care of them won't be so hard." I explained and she left it at that.

I look up from the play pen to see Hayley walk back in caring her daughter Hope in her arms. She looks at me confused. "When did you get here?" She asked me.

"Yesterday." I answered as she proceeded to put Hope with my kids.

"How would be able to tell who is who?" Hayley asked.

"Well, I can always tell who is Angel out of the group because she and Dove have my eyes, but I put numbers on their baby hat that let's me know which baby I gave birth to first." I said as I watch the kids interact with each other.

"This is going to be a huge family." Hayley said and I nodded my head because she was absolutely right. There is a total of 8 babies in the pen and they are all related. "Let's go. Rebekah needs our help setting up a bonfire." She said and we left out the house.

Once we walk out I see Nik look up from the sticks being used to stare at me. "When did you get here, luv?" He asked me.

I roll my eyes but a smile broke out on my face. "If you and Hayley were paying attention, you guys would have known I was here yesterday." I said as I walk up to him. He gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"Curse on the firstborn? What the hell is that supposed to be?" Rebekah asked her brothers once they repeat what Finn told them.

"According to Finn, our sister Freya didn't die of plague. She was taken as payment by our Aunt Dahlia who then cursed all Mikaelson firstborns for eternity." Nik explained.

"Is any of this true?" Hayley asked him.

"It is if we're to believe Finn who learned it from that bastion of truth, our mother." Elijah said as he rolls up his sleeves.

"No wonder Finn hates us. He lost the sister he adored and instead got a judges pack of siblings who found him unbearably dull." Rebekah said.

"Eh, that doesn't excuses him from trying to murder his own family." I said as Rebekah grabs more wood for the fire.

"That's enough wood, Rebekah. You'll burn down the whole bloody state of Arkansas.

"We're just missing a key ingredient." Rebekah said as she brushes her hands clean.

"No, we're not." Nik said trying to shut down whatever Rebekah was planning. I can see Elijah from the corner of my eye smiling to himself as he watches his siblings go back and forth. This talk between them only confuses me more.

"Yes, we are, Nik. Back me up, Elijah." Rebekah asked.

"I suspect Niklaus would rather choke on the ashes." Elijah said

"What are you all talking about?" Hayley asked them.

"Well, before we light it, we write down our wishes for each other, to burn for luck. It was Kol's favorite part when we were kids." Rebekah explained to me and Hayley.

"Further evidence as to why we should ignore it." Nik said.

"This will be the kids first bonfire season. I love this tradition and we are definitely doing this. I won't take no for an answer." I said looking at Nik when I said the last part. Nik groans out in annoyance and buried his head in my shoulder making me laugh at how dramatic he is.
