I woke to an empty bed and I looked around to see Nik already dressed and is painting away at another canvas. "What could you possibly be painting now?" I asked as I sit up with the sheets covering me.

"The morning sun offer the best light. Hold still, I'm almost done." He said as he smiles at his almost complete painting.

"I really hope you're not painting me naked. Otherwise I would have to make you save it somewhere that no one will find." I said as I stay still in the bed.

"Of course, luv. Wouldn't want the male species to staring at what's mine." Nik said.

"Yours?" I asked him.

Nik finished his painting and I got up to look at it. I look good. It looked like he spent more time perfecting my face and body that it makes me want to sleep with myself.

"Nix, you may find this as a surprise, but you are courting a devilishly handsome, very powerful hybrid. I own all of you." Nik said.

I roll my eyes. Cocky little narcissist. "I wouldn't go that far." I joked. Nik sped up to me and slammed me on the bed again making me laugh as he hovers on top of me. "What are you doing today?" I asked him.

"Well, I'm going to see if I can manipulate Genevieve'a feelings for me so she can help me with a little project I'm working on." Nik said.

I'm a little skeptical about it. Genevieve has tried and failed at getting Nik's attention and to flirt with him every chance she's get. "Just don't let it go to far, otherwise you'll be laying in the bed alone and single." I threaten him and he just smother me with kisses. "And what project are you working on?" I asked.

"It's a secret and if I told you, it would lose its mystery." Nik said.

I roll my eyes. "Fine. Don't tell me. I'll figure it out eventually." I said then pushed him away from me making him groan.
