《Home | The Originals》Chapter 37: Party

I was standing at the stairs watching everyone as they had fun. Elijah was hosting a party for the factions. It was his way of trying to make them come to peace with each other.
A hand wraps around me and a smile graced my face when the mystery person who I obviously know who it is starts to kiss my neck all over.
"Where did you get this dress?" Nik asked me as he turns me around to get a good look at me.
"I had this dress for a while and I thought to myself, why not? I should go out and have some fun." I said.
Nik grabbed my jaw so I could look him dead in the eye. "And who are you going to have fun with, luv?" He asked me.
I smile up at him. "I got my eyes set on him right now." I said and he smiled back at me before bringing me into a heated make out session.
After a few minutes I pull away. "Don't start something you can't finish." I told him and he gives me a smirk.
"Oh, I can definitely finish this. And I'll start it again and again and again until you are begging me to stop." He whispered and kissed me deeply. Nik pulled away and looked to his left at something. "But right now, I got to go." He tried to pull away but I hold him still.
"Are you really going to leave me all hot and bothered?" I asked him.
He picked my lips. "The nights still young love. I'll be back to finish what you started." He said and left to do whatever.
"But I didn't do anything." I said to myself. I spot Davina who is about to leave and before she could I sped in front of her. "Davina what's wrong?" I asked.

"I think I just lost a friend." Davina said sadly.
"What's been happening with you?"
"The ancestors are so angry at me. They're mad that I used my power against my own people. I was so alone. And since Monique has been back she's been nothing but a bitch to me." Davina ranted.
If I knew she was struggling I would have help. An idea pops into my head. "Why don't you stay with me." I said.
"I couldn't do that to you. I mean you already have a baby to take care of, I would just be a burden." Davina said.
"Davina Claire you will not be burden to me. I treat you like how I would treat my little sister if I had one. If you think living with me rent free is a problem then you need to leave that thought behind. I have enough money saved to financially take care of you and a orphanage. Please come stay with me." I begged.
Davina smiles at me before bringing me into a hug. I hugged her back as we give in to the moment between us.
I pulled away. "Are you staying for the rest of the party or are you going back to my place?" I asked her.
"I'm going to your place. I had enough drama for one day." Davina said.
I gave her the keys to my apartment. "Here. I had spare keys for you. I was going to give them to Klaus since he is always over at my place but you can have them. I'll just make another set I guess." I said and she took the keys from me. "And check on Angel to see if she's sleep and if not, call me. She developed an separation anxiety so she'll freak out if I'm not there." I told her and she nodded her head.

We said our goodbyes as I watch her leave. I hear glass breaking inside the compound and I let out a frustrated groan. Those idiots couldn't stay civil for one night.
I storm back into the party to see Elijah holding down a long haired blonde werewolf on a table by his head and Jackson is holding a stake to Diego's heart.
"What's stopping you?" Hayley asks from the stairs. "Kill him." She said. She walks down the stairs to stand with the four idiots. "Go ahead, Elijah. Do it. I mean, it's not like he doesn't deserve to die. I mean, it was Oliver who handed Rebekah over to the witches so they could torture her, but then again, wasn't it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month? And the witches cursed the wolves, while the humans stood back and let it all happen, so when you think about it, everyone here deserves to die." Hayley said.
"Are you approaching a point?" Elijah asked her.
The four idiots started to hold their heads in pain as I perform an aneurysm on them. "The point of her speech, Elijah is that if they can't all learn to get along, and be a big massive family, then what is the point in all of this? Why come here for peace when you keep taunting other people? I will kill you all and end this animosity between the three of you." I said and I stopped the aneurysm on them.
They sighed with relief as they finally get the chance to process what Hayley and I said.
